Probably the same way you rooted the past gb. I would do the method found with the kg4 leak. It has worked on all GB versions so far.

Hey guys, I've got a Skyrocket, but no access to SuperOneClick. I've tried to use Z4root and the Gingerbreak apk but have had no luck.

Yea, unfourtanetly I am serious. I just rooted my phone today, and installed UCLF5 android version 4.0.4. I folled the nexus seven step by step and it does nothing even after reboot... Sorry, I'm a noob.

You need to have correct kernel install .. there is official att ics as of today http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1761610 (read) and kernel is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762308 Instruction and animation are here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555422

You not using odin you need to install CWM (search how)

You can reinstall as many times as you want but there will be just one kernel.

So I've searched the net far and beyond and have not found one single way to root this phone with a Linux OS. ODIN is completely useless with Linux and all help uses ODIN. I am far from being a noob as I have been rooting since the G1. If anyone has info that would be helpful to me please let me know.
What about heimdall? I think it's capable...
