What it actually does:
This app flashes the specific parts of the device (Bootloader, Recovery, Splash screen, and Radio). It's just a time saver.
The splash screen is the image before the boot animation, if you don't like the white HTC, then change it!

It's not in the market, it's currently only a windows tool. More OS's coming in the future.

Moto X Boot Logos

Hey guys!
After unlocking my bootloader, I got this unattractive warning boot image. I didn't like it, so I replaced it with something I think is more fitting to the phone!
Here's a one:

The download links are your standard logo.bin files. Just replace them through Fastboot.

Thanks, the box art logo looks much better than the bootloader warning.
Can you use your graphics wizardry and make a version of the box art logo with a black background instead of white? (The big M would still be white)

Not sure what happening with me here, I can flash the .bin to get of the unlocked bootloader warning but I've tried flashing the .bmp and also even tried just flashing the zip itself via the fastboot method ( fastboot flash logo thenameoftheimage.bmp) and I get a corrupted graphic with a box in the center of the phone.
Advice ?

What's the difference between this and THIS? I see two different file types, and logo VS clogo.....bit isn't it the same splash/boot screen? Confused at the differences if there are any?

Hello guys, this is my first share of Mods here at XDA. That is why I chose boot splashes since there seems to be very little risk here hence people will consider flashing my work. But be assured I have tested every splash image successfully on my RN4 mido. So you go ahead and flash them with confidence if you like it.
Boot splash screen is the screen you see at the very first when you turn on the phone, which by default is a MI logo for Xiaomi devices. So if your looking for something more interesting than just two letters "MI" please do check out this thread.
I sourced the logos mostly from Google Image search and edited, resized and reformatted them to suit mido's resolution. But since there is a cap on the size of the images that can be used(read @GokulNC 's post here[/URL] to know more about the size limit) I had to stick to monochrome themes. Even though minimal these logos are sure cool, check them out yourself

Choose your favorite one and download from the links below. Once downloaded extract the file and you can find two folders, one contains a zip file which can be flashed normally through your custom recovery like TWRP and the other folder contains the fastboot flashable .img image file which can be flashed through fastboot (instructions for this can be found in the same folder in TXT file). Choice is up to you, both are stable and risk free methods.

No. This is only for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon Version (mido). Flashing it on other devices might make your phone not boot.

I would make the whole screen look like a Picasso painting.. But there is a limitation on the image file size that can be used, more colors=bigger size, I can ignore this limitation and still make a colorful splash but then the fastboot screen will turn blank and then we'd miss our dear fastboot bunny.:silly:
So this time I'll try to incorporate more colors like you guys want and try to save our cute bunny too.

Both have the exact same firmware..so yes you can use these on redmi note 4x too

I have come up with yet another new and fresh collection of custom boot splash screens for our dear Redmi Note 4(mido)(SD). I created the splashes using the tool created by @GokulNC, you can visit his thread here. Note that this is just a boot splash screen image and not a boot animation. This is also compatible with Redmi Note 4X since both use the same firmware. You can also visit my previous collection of boot splashes here.
Keeping your requests in mind, this time I've made the splashes a bit colorful. Also I have made two variants for all the splashes, a light version and a dark version, so enjoy.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download your favorite boot splash from the download links below.
2. Once downloaded extract the files.
3. Once extracted open the folder and choose which variant you want.
4. You can choose to flash via fastboot or through a recovery. For more instructions read the text file in the appropriate folder.

Its clearly mentioned in OP. Extract the zip and then you will find a recovery flashable zip. Don't directly flash the downloaded zip.

[FLASHABLE] Android Q Boot+Splash for RN5P [Whyred]

Android Q boot animation and splash. Have a seamless booting up experience! Unfortunately they're not much different from pixel 2 boot animation.
PIE FIRMWARE REQUIRED.
Instructions-
-TO FLASH ANDROID Q BOOT ANIMATION+SPLASH-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.
-TO RECOVER BACKED UP BOOT ANIMATION-
Again through a root file manager, go to /system/media and delete bootanimation.zip. Now rename bootanimation.zip.bak to bootanimation.zip.
-TO GET STOCK SPLASH BACK-
Flash this zip through a custom recovery.

The splash tool has a problem with white images. It shows black bars on top and bottom.
It doesnt show on black images so works just fine.
Soon though, if its possible.

it shows full 1080x1920 , other pixels are lost , same with fastboot and other images
seems like we cant display white full .

Nice to see you working on whyred theming. I'd love to see the G instead of Google as our bootlogo. Hope you'll release an updated version with this goodie.

Its google to make the transition between logo and animation seemless. Like on the pixels.
But if enough people ask for one with a 'G', ill make that.
