[Q] phone flashing error and RUU errors. - HTC One S

I searched the forum and tried almost everything and it doesn't seem to fix my problem.
-The phone when booted normally will go into the logo then reboot automatically to recovery mode. (does not go into the actual OS)
-When i tried to flash CM from CWM recovery, i have the error (status 7) (tried twrp as well)
- When trying to flash RUU, it gets error 155 unknown error... i tried both using the exe files and flashing the OTA zip files using the all in one kit
i am not sure what else to do. i hope i can get some solutions to fix this.

More informatico?
Root, unlocked bootloader, stock or custom ROM, hboot...

It was rooted and bootloader unlocked but i forced RUU or something and it kinda worked. but the OS still doesn't load up. hboot is 2.15 and it was originally CM 10. custom rom. It was having problems as it keep shutting off when its in standby mode, I wanted to reflash it and reset it but it didn't work really well.

Bump. Help please. still have problems.

[Q] noob -- stuck in a boot loop, tried the 2.20 unlock method.

I followed the steps from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1952038
I successfully unlocked my phone and installed TWRP recovery, but that's as far as I can get. I tried to flash the latest CM10 nightly but hit an error when I run the zip, saying that the MD5 file is not found. I also tried to separately flash the boot.img from the CM10 zip, but it didn't help.
I've cleared my cache and factory wiped (through recovery), but I'm still stuck in the boot loop and can't get to the OS. Please help!!
I think the problem might be that I never actually rooted the phone, despite having unlocked it. Is there a way to root my phone via recovery, since I can't actually boot into it?
I tried to install RebelMod, but i hit an error saying "Unable to mount /data" -- I'm assuming that's because it's unrooted?
you want to root a stock ROM?
flash superuser downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
update: i managed to flash RebelMod successfully (according to TWRC) by running the zip file, but I'm still stuck in the boot loop even after doing a Factory Reset thru TWRC.
am I missing something?
wait a sec -- I got it working after I flashed the boot.img with fastboot.

[Q] help with tampered, locked, ruu, s off etc

I have a one sv which:
is k2 ul
normally boots only to HTC screen (no quietly brilliant) and stays there till the end of times
shows tampered locked, which i now changed unlocked status (htcdev)
s-on
has twrp recovery on, but swipes fail mostly
flashing roms in twrp recovery show success but result is still HTC logo without being quietly brilliant
can not be ruu-ed beucause the ruus i find are i think older than required
hboot 2.21, radio 1.18 version
s-off fails because tho fastboot recognizes phone, adb doesnt in fastboot mode and in bootloader pc thinks it is not attached (tried xp, 7, 8.1 and many different drivers)
i am not sure if usb debugging was on before the phone crashed
so i can't put an older ruu because of s-on, i can't get s-off because rumrunner and moonshine can't work without adb, and basically that is it.
does anyone PLEASE have any idea what to do?
and yes, the warranty is over and the phone has gone to the warranty twice with bootloop before.
After flashing a rom, did you also flash the boot.img of the rom with fastboot cmd?
Thats necessary, because you are S-on.
And what TWRP is installed?

yes i did.
twrp 2.6.3.2
now i have made such progress that twrp tells me it cannot mount int sd and when booting, phone stays on the htc logo for some seconds and then switches off. i believe i have actually made it worse (didnt think that could happen).
EDIT: so i formatted the storage like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576897 and it BOOTED
EDIT2: the phone now kind of works IF it boots. half of booting times it just switches off, the other half it switches off and then reboots and works. i think something is still kind of not good but i dont have the b***s atm to poke it more.
thank you all for your potential help.
What rom did you use?
Please also perform a full wipe (without internal/external sd) in recovery under Wipe -> Advanced

it was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2512742 which is, as i understand, your work, thank you very much, donations will happen when im a tincy bit richer
and i will wipe some time later when im at home and courageous enough.
You can also try to restore this TWRP backup.
great news! today the phone restarted itself and froze on the logo. i tried to start twrp but it froze on that logo too. tried to do a factory reset, which removed the "tampered" sign until next reboot but that was about it.
now i can't reflash twrp or anything at all, with the error remote: image update error. oh please save me again.
Does not sound good.
You can boot into bootloader? Is it locked or unlocked? Did you reflash the recovery to check if you can boot into it?
looks bad indeed.
i can boot into bootloader, which is unlocked. and please specify what do you mean by reflashing the recovery (pardon my stupid brain)
When in bootloader, connect your phone to fastboot and try to flash recovery again.
If you can't get into recovery, i don't know, if there is much i can do for you
fastboot basically tells me to go f* myself with the error "remote: image update error" what ever I try to flash. right now Im trying to find a way to reflash twrp from ext sd. not doing so great
Well, about your country flag i suggest you speak (or you can at least read) russian language.
Go to 4pda.ru and look for the posts of "MikG". He has made zip files, similar to RUU. They are flashed from bootloader/Ruu mode. Maybe they can bring your phone back to life.
I can't tell you how to use this files, because i don't speak russian.
I'll try, thanks.
edit: and it just refuses to cooperate. it kind of does something in bootloader, but still doesnt boot past htc logo or if i try recovery, it stays on teamwin logo. i dont know if im doing something wrong or what... maybe i'll wait for the 4.2.2 hboot 2.21 radio 1.18 ruu then because i really dont know what else i could do.

[Q] No Rom, failure when flashing

Hi all. I own a Moto G xt1032 UK version. (GSM right?)
I was on 4.4.4 Epsilon ROM but I wanted to flash stock 4.4.4, so I used a tutorial I found on youtube that set me up to stock 4.4.2, then I upgraded to 4.4.4 and THEN there was another update to 5.0.1. So as you can guess, I upgraded to lollipop and that was it - bootloop. I have tried flashing other roms through fastboot and nothing worked, I get an error when I flash ''system'' that says ''image is too large'' once all is done, phone restarts and its stuck on bootloop once again. The bootlogo changes when I flash different rom etc. But I don't know what to do, any ideas? :/ I have also tried to flash a custom recovery and sideload the Epsilon ROM but I only get an error in my command line that says no device connected after I hit the command. Any suggestions guys? I appreciate any sort of help, thanks guys.
I'll also add that I think I have the 41.18 bootloader if it helps (it says so in the bootloader settings)
When flashing a ROM in fastboot, are you also flashing the gpt file?
Yeah. I flash everything there's to flash as all tutorials instruct.
To try and get your phone up and running, flash a custom recovery from fastboot. Once the recovery image has been flashed, use the phone's volume buttons to boot into recovery. If you can get into recovery, try and flash a custom ROM.
Ah, I forgot to add. When I attempt to flash anything from my storage it says some sort of error coun't mount /sdcard and others when the recovery opens up. I tried flashing other recoveries, TWRP, CWM both show the exact same errors..Can't mount SDcard etc. :/ That is why I tried the sideload method which didn't work for me either.
You're flashing recovery for the falcon?
Yes..for falcon. I've done it a bunch of times before, however I never had the unable to mount error in the recovery..
I don't have my moto g on me but I found Philz Touch (based on CWM) worked besr for me after i switched back from GPE to CM12. I was getting weird error messages in TWRP.

[Q] Unable to access recovery from bootloader. Everything else works.

Phone (xt1033) is rooted (status code 3). I had installed some custom rom, but later went back to stock with lolipop.
I now want to install CM12.1
I flashed the latest twrp using adb (twrp-2.8.6.0-xt1032). However, if I try to access recovery from the bootloader, phone just gives me a black screen.
So, I flashed a slightly older twrp. Again, same result.
Phone is booting up, but none of the options given with the bootloader seem to be working, and I have no recovery, custom or otherwise. What should I do?

Soft bricked after installing kernel

I'm having some trouble guys. I got stuck in a bootloop when trying to install https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/development/kernel-elementalx-op6-1-00-t3799054 this kernel, so I booted into TWRP and tried to flash the stock rom to fix it. However, it won't work and keeps giving me the error " Updater process failer with ERROR: 255 Error installing zip file '/sdcard/Download/OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_009_all_1805172226_f7d1518e0 e704ca3.zip' ". How can I fix this? I read something about sideloading the OTA update, but it says it won't work if I'm rooted, which I am.
In you do not mind s fresh start lock your boot loder
Do NOT reboot then unlock your boot loader.
This will rest your phone back to stock.
You may have to sideload stock boot.img (maybe)
Hope this helps.
You can't flash OOS through recovery. Also since kernel only affects the boot partition, just flash stock boot and it should work.
