i got an xperia l for christmas. i noticed that i can view emojis in the new jelly bean update. before, i had an xperia play which i could only use an emoji keyboard and emojis would display for friends that had iphones. yet, when i used the emoji keyboard, it doesnt display. i wanted to know if theres a setting which allows you to input the emojis from the default keyboard as its obviously a font the phone recognises

Go to Settings -> Language and Input -> Xperia Keyboard (Settings icon next to it) -> Keyboard Layout -> Additional keys -> Smiley key

is there a way i can add japanese emoticons like (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ or (ﾉ`□´)ﾉ⌒┻━┻ on the L google keyboard? I know it already has the normal emoticons. Thanks

Ok have the phone a while now its unlocked and running Cyanogen Mod 12 and a few questions
What keyboard is everyone using? The one I have is standard and the emoji not great for posting on viber, facebook etc and you have to press the return button twice. Coming from a Samsung keyboard which was good so anything similar? Tried the Kii keyboard but are there others.
Do you have to use file manager to organise pictures into folders any good apps to do this?
Using L Launcher. In Settings and Notification drawer I have the Select and order tiles as 5 tiles configured, one of them been data connection. However when I go to the drop down it’s not there and it’s a nuisance when I want to turn on data.

I'm using Google Keyboard on my S6 and when I'm in Hangouts I get two different emoji keyboards—the Google Keyboard (material background) emojis when I use the emoji button on the keyboard and a different (black, holo-ish background) set of emojis when I hit the emoji button in the Hangouts text box (next to send button).
I froze the Samsung Keyboard in TiBu and it's still happening. Anyone know if there's a way to get both of those buttons to launch the Google Keyboard emoji menu?
Your getting that because the hang outs app has its own separate emoji keyboard from the emoji keyboard built into Google keyboard there's no way to change that unless Google makes it an option on the hang outs app
So difficult finding a keyboard that does everything. I can't find one keyboard with left-right/up-down arrow keys, select text, copy/cut/paste (Go Keyboard). The ability to un-dock keyboard (SwiftKey). Customisable themes with custom colours, background image, fonts (Fleksy)/(Kika)/(TouchPal). Is there just one keyboard that does everything?! I want to get rid of the six I currently use, not because I like to, but because no one keyboard does everything perfectly. Some features are in other keyboards & one I you use lacks other features etc.
hey I am using google phone as my default dialler app on my moto g3(2015)
recently google updated the favourites style to bubble type. But I don't like it and I want to go back to grid style in the previous versions.
I don't want to install old apk because it does not have dark theme.
Please help me
