Old ROM splash screen - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a droid razr hd, verizon. I had safeboot installed and originally had RageHD rom in slot 1, Then I added eclipse ROM from elemental x to slot 2. When I would first turn on the phone, the RageHD splash would show for 2 seonds, then it would switch to the Safeboot start screen, then when you continued to normal start up the Eclipse Rom splash would go for a while and the phone would turn on normally.
I am selling the phone, (its the 9.20.1) so I ran the Razr HD utility option 1 to wipe and restore 4.1.2. It is all wiped except for a breif second or 2 on startup I am still getting the RageHD splash screen.
Any suggestions?

Also, I flashed the stock recover (option 2 on the utility). When I go into recovery it shows the droid alien on its back with a "hood" open and a red Triangle Warning sign with explanation point in the middle.

[Q] Motorola R2D2 Droid Stuck on Motorola Logo

I recently installed a theme on my R2D2 Droid. However, it must have been the wrong version for my droid (I'm new at this ), and thus caused Voice Commands to crash horribly, spamming the window nonstop. I reverted it back to factory settings via the recovery window, however, this only ended in a bootloop of the R2/Star Wars animation. I restarted the droid, and was taken to the Clockwork Recovery Mode screen. I reloaded my backup from my SD card like I had planned too, but my battery apparently wasn't at full, and it crashed during the loading. Now the droid is stuck at the Motorola logo, and refuses to take charge.
Recovery mode and the Bootloader still work, though after resetting the droid to factory settings, I'm still back at the Motorola loop. I assume this is from the lack of a battery charge.
The Bootloader also gives the message
"BATTERY LOW
CANNOT OPERATE".
I'm not sure what to do at this point. I assume that since I can reach both the recovery screen and bootloader, my phone isn't bricked, but as I can't take charge, I don't know what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem with RCMix3D KINGDOM v2.0 Evolutionary Sense! THE ORIGINAL SENSE 3.0 DHD ROM

I recently installed this ROM and I thought it was working fine. I did a restart of the device and now I seem stuck at a android screen that it doesn't see to be going pass. The android word just display as a light goes across the screen and then it seems to cycle again.
I can't seem to boot into recovery either to put restore the back up I made, because when I get to the white fast boot screen the selection won't scroll down to recovery when I hit the down volume button. It just stays there and then tries to install a patch for a radio I believe.
Any thoughts on why this is stuck at the android word screen or how I can get back to my back up and restore that. Thanks

Try removing your sd card and then vol down and power. Then once you're past fastboot white page pop it back in in time for recovery, and do your thing. Try clearing caches first. If not then restore a backup.

Yup I think I seen that in another forum to a similar type problem, I removed the SD card and was able to get back into clockwork recovery. I wipes all data/settings, cache partition and then loaded the rom again.
First thing I did was do a reboot so. So far it didn't get stuck and booted back up. Will do another reboot later tonight to see if it holds. Thanks for the tip
I'd reccomenf going to the dhd forum and getting the latest version (new one coming out soon)

Motorola XT5 Not Booting <<HELP>>

I had flashed my Motorola XT5 (Z71 variant) to CM 7.0.3 and installed CWM Recovery 2.5.1.3. Everything was going smoothly since 17-Oct-11. I used update-CM-7.0.3-Z71-signed.zip to updated using ROM Manager 4.5.0.1
I installed a few apps from the Market yesterday & they were working fine. Total apps installed = 128. I switched off the phone yesterday night.
This morning, when I switched it on, the Motorola Logo appeared followed by the CM7 Splash Screen (for a little while only). Then the screen went blank (slight glow in the background) and remained like that for several minutes. No buttons working incl. Power. Had to reset the phone by removing the battery.
Tried to boot into recovery by holding 'Camera+Vol Up+Power' buttons. Motorola Logo appears with "Enter recovery" written across on top. remains in this screen for several minutes. Had to again reset by removing battery.
Please Help! I can't seem to figure out what to do. I have a fairly good tech skills. Will follow steps if you're kind enough to guide me. Please.
Enter fastboot
Use it to install the custom recovery.
What is the key sequence to get into Fastboot on Motorola Xt502?
What should I do once I get into Fastboot?
Please guide!
TIA
It's
endcall vol down power
But you need some tools to install recovery.
Other solutions use [SUT] to refresh the firmware '*. nbo'

[Q] XT925 Can't boot to custom recovery

Hello,
I have a RAZR HD XT925 on 4.1.2 GSM.
I was able to unlock the bootloader through the Motorola website, and Root the device using motochopper.
I have tried 3 different custom recoveries:
recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.4-xt925
recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.4-xt925
philz_touch_6.43.8-moto_msm8960
TWRP-2.7.0.0-moto_msm8960-xhdpi
The flashing results always report successful. But when I attempt to boot up the phone in recovery mode, it always goes to the screen with the android character laying on his back with his stomach compartment open and a red triangle with an exclamation point hovering over.
I have to wait about 30 seconds until the phone reboots itself to normal mode and everything works fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
you can use twrp 2.6.0.0

[Q] Nandroid backup does not seem to work properly.

I wanted to make a NANDROID backup because i am ready to flash a custom rom, but it does not work. It gets me to some weird boot issues, the phone is running with the Moto X 2014's new animation for booting. Goes to the motorola logo with the guy flying and it goes to a black screen. After a few secs, a screen saying "Starting apps..." flashes. TWRP was download in april 24th.
