to be setup. This rom is NOT rooted, if you want to root it after installing you can.

I haven't found Boeffla for 4.3 to be that that unstable, it maybe a problem with the Note apps.

I'm not trying to use this as an advertisment for my ROM at all, but maybe try and use my ROM as a base (which is properly rooted etc) and add the Note apps to that (one at a time to make sure they work).
The OneHand option is available in my ROM too, which I ported the fix from I9300, which I think can only be used with Note apps (I don't think any stock Galaxy apps work with it anyway).

No, no new bootloader. I use Boeffla as the kernel. It's flashed by CWM, and the only way you can get the new bootloader is if you use ODIN

ok problem detected^^ if you dont use the original kernel on 4.3 you get random fc and reboots.....my experiences ._.
@djb77 he uses the new one on his device

I use Boeffla 5.1 Beta 7, and I have never touched my phone via ODIN with 4.3, so I'd have the old bootloader still.

is there any phone wakeup problem on this rom ?
I tried another samsung custom rom 4.3. It has a wakeup delay issue. When a incoming call rung, the phone took almost 10sec to turn screen on

Well, you still want the old bootloader, atleast for now. Hbohd is working hard on his custom I9305 kernel and this will hopefully end up being able to fix problems with people that has flashed via ODIN. Time will tell I guess...

no it does not upgrade your bootloader
OP updated, added rom with stock kernel for those who have upgraded there bootloader,,
DLNA dont work. The Button cant activate it. Jump return in options.

Does anyone know if you flash this does it clear the entire memory or just the os partition. I have flashed many Roms before on other android devices but all those had an SD card and with the unlocking process I know the entire data was erased.

ok, thanks. Now I tried downloading both versions and installing via clockwork mod and it aborts. Saying status 0. Any ideas?

Ah OK I'll have a look into it tonight for you, its probably the updater script if you want you can try use the META folder from another ROM (nexus 7 ROM) and see if it flashes until I fix it later

It appears it not just your downloads I can't seem to flash any Roms. I tried to flash other ROM and it keeps giving me same error. It almost seems like it can find the zip files on SD card to flash and then it goes to flash and can no longer find the file. Anyone have any insight into this?
first off seems D/L is not working but I dint think there were so many issues with ROM. We definetly need a solid Stock ROM with ROOT (4.1.1), Hope its works when I flash

Recently I've been facing SOD on my Tab, and I read somewhere here on xda, that it's sometimes a modem problem.
So I was thinking of changing the modem/baseband firmware only.
Is that possible and how?
I know officially there is only ICS for the Tab, and I'm currently running PA v2.50; JB.

Sorry forgot to mention it's a P6800. Well, I'm not having issues with my WiFi dropping, I'm having sleep of deaths. Meaning the Tab would sleep and pushing the power button will not wake it up, I have to hold the power button for 10 seconds to force a reboot.

Any help? Problem is that I'm facing the same problem since stock ICS, and already tried a few custom ROMs, ending up with JellyBean now.
One thing to note is that I could limit down the rate of SOD's when I turn auto-brightness off before getting the device to sleep.

Maybe try a custom kernel and governor (Pegasus) or stock kernel and with app such as Voltage Control to change governor.

I really appreciate the time you're taking to help with my problem - can you help though with more details?
I mean, I'm running Androguide's Paranoid Android v2.5, is it possible to flash custom Kernels? Or do I have to get another custom ROM?
I'm basically missing the bigger picture you know

Your problem can have a multitude of causes.
However to answer your initial question :
You can fash whatever baseband you like using PC or Mobile odin.
Just download and flash an apropriate modem.bin for your P6800
I would start by fladhing stock HC rom and then see if the problem persists on HC.
Oh and while you are rooted (i suppose), download the emmc brick bug test app from playstore to check your internal memory.
FYR. the baseband is the modem.bin inside the stock rom.
It can be replaced to your p6800 via Odin or Mobile Odin. I have extracted a few modem from different stock roms. P6800XXLA1, P6800XXPLA3, P6800XXPLW and P6800DXLP7. send me your e-mail if you want them.
For the Paranoid rom, I'm using my own build of v2.55, wifi and gps(I got 9 sat.) works fine for my p6800.
I think Androguide's 2.55 will come soon and solve you problem.
Thanks all for your input .. I've flashed another modem.bin and haven't faced SOD's.
Note however that I turn Auto brightness and WiFi off every time I let the Tab go to sleep.
I'll wait for PA 2.55 and see how things go.

I use only Tablet mode and very occasonially the status bar will restart itself. I don't know if there are any other bugs but it works fine for me.

if you are coming from pa 2.5 no need to wipe... just flash it with cwm

Well I wouldnt Count on installing Custom Roms for Now If you Use I9070 Custom Roms over I9070p well we dont know what would happen??? nor there are any Kernels for the P Version so theres no chance of backing up via nandroid... Well Who Ever has the guts to do it like Me Try it i did it once bricked my device tried again conqured it i'll make an AOSP Rom for all you people too i'll Cal it Pure VanillaP

EDIT: Good news! I tried temporary cwm with Shaan method for JB and it worked well o my 9070P with JB
after flash JB on my 9070P and factory reset, I have in recorded video whistling sound. Does anyone else with that problem?

For some reason this device never got the attention that others did. As such all rooms are based off stock. Your best bet is to root it and install Titanium Backup. Then remove all the boatware with it.
I'm running Rocket Tab Rom on mine and have been happy with it.

I've been running Rocket Tab Lite v3.1. The lite version doesn't have the Samsung stuff. I have had a very good experience with it. I also flashed the Blackhawk kernel.

I see no real difference from stock. This is not like a Cyanogenmod build, it still has the look of Touch wiz. Mainly it just has the Samsung apps removed. I have noticed a great improvement in both performance and battery life with the Rocket Tab ROM.

My advice is until there's more options.....root, get titanium backup and freeze a crapload of bloat...especially all the Samsung stuff, greenify and battery and smoothness are as good as it gets I think.

Mt device stucked.
I tried the Rocket Tab guide and I flashed the PhilZ Touch recovery from here:

I flashed this recovery:
philz_touch_6.19.3-lt02wifi.zip
Then I tried to flash the Rocket ROM and I got an error and now the device stucked on Samsung logo.

Probably best thing to do is put 4.4.2 DN3 on it. It's available for that model number.

its Note II GT-N7100
BTW, I've installed DN3 V5.. it works like a charm, but 2 issues are there
1) RAM usage is High.. it constant uses 1.25GB of RAM
2) How to increase Sound ( Call sound, audio player Etc.... )
any solution ?

did you try a factory reset?
Any best version of ditto note 3...I mean a stable version? On kitkat
