i tested an aroma and simple cwm.zip in PAC-man 18.0.0 By Camcory
i always do a clean install (wipe all), but aroma doesent work propelity, but a simple cwm.zip is AWESOME!!!

INSTALL:
READ CAREFULLY FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL WILL BE FINE!
§1 Remove ALL Third app equaliser (DSP Manager, Market EQ app,...)
§2 Be sure your ROM don't have any other Sound MOD preinstalled
§3 Download AC!D Audio Engine
(You can choose between AROMA and the standard flashable zip, read careffuly the difference between AROMA and SIMPLE)
§4 ONLY if you downloaded SIMPLE ZIP, download walkman player and (if you want) the addon of your choice (Noozxoide for example)
§5 Put downloaded files in a special folder on your SDCARD (or internal storage), you can create an AC!D Audio folder (will be usefull in the future)
§6 Once you have all needed files on your phone reboot in recovery (CWM)
§7 FIRST WIPE CACHE PARTITION AND DALVIK CACHE!!!
§8a AROMA: only after that if you only downloaded AROMA version just flash it and follow instruction, take time to read (really easy installation with good explaination) (don't care about status 0 error showing at the end of installation just reboot)
<<< Do not follow theses steps if you use AROMA go to step 9>>>
§8b SIMPLE UPDATE ZIP: (Walkman is not compatible with any other addon, so you have to choose between Walkman or one of 4 availble Addon)
- AC!D + Walkman: First flash AC!D Audio Engine, Then if you want Walkman (with clearbass, xloud etc) Flash Walkman Addon and reboot
- AC!D + ADDON: First flash AC!D Audio Engine, (DO NOT FLASH WALKMAN!!!), and then flash the Addon of your choice (Noozxoide for example) and reboot

- I tested all intaller, addon and many other feuture.
My best choice is a single cwm.zip whit AC!D Awesome Beats addon

Well, in this case it's not a big deal, I've inspected the zip and it's an Aroma installer, which includes an "universal" version. So probably it's for all roms (which is probably just the way of mounting /system)

i dont like beats audio which is installed in all ics and jb roms by default... what should i do to disamble or remove it to bet gb sounds?

Yeah maybe. But the Drivers are made for the s3 speaker. Not for ours.

Yes no lag or any ( i do clean install)
Better to download universal file for acid audio in samsung devices on thier official website.

I just installed the download files and dont know how to disable the dsp manager in slim bean!? got dsp manager back again after installing and also saw two new icons,acid soundmod and dolby mobile ( that's it? )

you dont need more EQ because this mod only build.prop tweaks and driver update

With this rom i have managed to reach 43h without charging, with data activated allways and 2 sim-s allways active, i made few calls/sms and internet browsing using data connection, without wi-fi. I think it is a very good rom.
ZP980 SAM UI ported ROM by MS is better than this?

Ive been noticing your endeavours in this forum for some time robalm and I especially appreciate this thread. Could you please discuss which mods maybe be compatible with this rom...how about 4 way reboot ...i know the xposed modules is the way to go....thanks so much

There is no Stock Email in this rom. This cause FC in Setting>Sound>Email.
Not working when turning on Easy Launcher in Setting.
Please, add S5 Recorder and S5 Internet Browser, S5 Email or N2 Email, 4-ways reboot (can mod by using wanam xpose but i don't like this app).
This rom is very smooth and stable. Love this rom. Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words
Some mods can be done easy on some framework files like framework.res (themes etc) but some framework files needs to be deodexed before they can be mooded, i will try and see what can be done.
Today i was going to see if i can mod the stock kernel, and try fix the problem posted by @nguyenquoctrong.

By the way - I tried to add S5 setting, but i run into the "lookscreen effect save problem after reboot" if any one know how to fix that problem i would be happy so i can add S5 settings to this rom.

Yes, i'm using v1.2. But I think you shouldn't add S5 Setting, because S5 Setting cause more troubles and some features in S5 Setting not working without Note 3 & S5 hardware (ex: air gesture and motion, private mode, VIP Mode, S-Cover setting....), I prefer to N2 Setting.
we should try Dr ketans sd card fix in our app and theme section , also xperiacles s5 module in Note 3 section.
i collected the first release but havent had time to flash yet

When installing:
Archive will remove from the system folders and files :
AudioFX - (not restored after a night of updates CM)
MusicFX
SoundAlive - (when installed on a Samsung with TouchWiz)
their data and the path data/data.
The archive will disable NuPlayer (experimental).
The archive will prescribe need to build.prop.
ViPER4A not removed after updates, nightly builds СМ12/12.1/13.
