[Q] GT-N8010 block on cyanogen logo - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I request your help to restore my GT-N8010.
I have rooted the tablet as super-user, flash CWM recovery with successfull
I have done a NANDdroid backup with CWM
I have try to install cyanogenmod rom with no success
I have flashed the TWRP recovery and install cyanogenmod rom for N8013.
Now my tablet block on the cyanogen logo on startup.
The usb driver MTP fail on install and i can not communicate with the tablet via USB (no com port declared)
I fail to restore backup (done with CWM), my recovery is now TWRP.
How can i do to restore my backup? How can I do to reflash CWM instead TWRP?
Is it another custom rom i can try to deblock my situation?
Thanks for your help

I was able to reflash CWM with Odin by starting in download mode (Power + volume down).
Unfortunately my restore has only restored boot.img and recovery.img: total blackout after restarted.
But I could reinstall cyanogenmod with success
Now i have a exploitable tablet.
Next step return to the stock rom!

[Q] I am stuck up with my bootloader

I have rooted my nexus one and tried to flash a custom rom. I performed following steps:
1. Rooted as per the instruction. After applying the commands It was ready
2. Installed a custom recovery image with recovery-RA-nexus-v1.7.0.img and it was successful. After rebooting i went in to boot loader mode and took a nandroid backup.
3. Then downloaded a custom rom and placed all radio(radio-4.06.00.12_7), Google App(gapps-hdpi-FRF91-signed), CyanogenMod 6(update-cm-6.0.0-N1-RC2-signed) in to my root of the SD card.
4. Rebooted with recovery mode (holding volume down and power) and selected recovery and it rebooted but got a orange !(symbol) with android and nothing happens.
Please any one help me to how to resolve this. I tried once again installed a custom recovery with the same image. But no luck
Try to reflash CM or restore nandroid backup and then reflash CM
stuck in bootload

[Huawei U8180]Flash and recovery

Hey
I installed CWM and a new rom... ok that's not the problem...
First thing:
after installing the final version of the rom... and installing CWM it says it doesn't have a cwm recovery... interesting is that when I boot in recovery via power and volume up it enters in cwm recovery...
another question...
after restoring the original rom, via cwm it restores the original recovery too?
if I select factory reset via CWM recovery, will it put back to stock recovery?
main interest:
how to remove cwm flash recovery, and restore the original one?

[Q] Help please-stuck at Samsung Logo

Hi everyone,
I was using Omega Rom v2.1 without trouble, then I decided to try Humberos Rom. After flasing it using TWRP it got stuck at the Cyanogen logo for 35 minutes without booting.
Because it didn't work and I did a backup, I decided to restore it and not use Humberos Rom. i went back to TWRP and everything is empty, I can't see nothing, I can't restore it or boot it.
I decided to flash a stock Rom as my only option using Odin. I tried Stock pre-rooted EUALAH2 from Entropy512. Odin flashed it but I'm stuck at the Samsung logo, no boot at all.
I need help because I can't live without my note 10.1!!!!!
Please move this post as necessary because I'm not sure I posted it in the right place.

RM

WARNING: THIS METHOD WILL DELETE YOUR DATA:
First flash Darkman's unofficial ClockworkMod via Odin. (instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102677) Next, boot into recovery with power and vol-up, and tap wipe data/factory reset. After that finishes, tap mounts and storage, and then format system. When that finishes, hold down power and vol-down until the custom OS/ download mode screen comes up. From here, you can reflash the stock ROM you had via Odin. Everything should work properly, but as I said, your data will be wiped.

[Q] [Samsung Note GT N7000] Need help! Can't use CWM on my phone

Hi Guys,
I had CM 10 on my phone and I was able to use CWM successfully. But, then I flashed Pandroid 4+ (CM 11 based) Kitkat 4.4 ROm on my phone.
Now, I am not able to boot into recovery mode. As i try to enter into recovery mode, My phone gets stuck in the boot screen and does not boot up. After so many attempts of pressing power button, it starts. It's so painful.
I want to revert back to CM 10 stable rom, but I can't boot in to recovery mode.
I did some research and found a CWMFixed.zip as a solution. It contains a boot.img file. Please let me know how can i flash this file without entering into CWM.
Or if there is any other solution for this problem then please let me know.
It urgent.
@tysonraylee I hope you can help me in this as you had posted a similar query in other thread.
Thanks in advance.
My friend, If you would have only read the PA thread properly you would know that beta 5 has the bug where it breaks the recovery you would have avoided the problem altogether but anyways i would suggest that you flash an odin format (.tar) kernel using PC Odin which will get you a working recovery and from there it should be pretty easy, if you took a nandroid backup before you will be able to restore your previous rom and if you didnt you have to flash a different rom of your choice
flash this TW PC odin format (.tar) kernel by bauner https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001607164
make sure once you flash this to not let the phone boot into ROM, after flashing successful take off the battery and then insert back and boot into recovery.
Once you have a recovery then you need a SE Linux compatible recovery so for that connect the device to PC and mount the usb storage through recovery then transfer
This Bauner's KK kernel if you require CWM https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001608504
and this GeeckoDev Raw kernel if you require TWRP recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53978758&postcount=583 (download raw_kernel_r6_k44.zip)
once transfered to your device flash the one you require and remember we are flashing these kernel just for temporary use and once a rom is flashed they will get overwritten with the recovery that comes with the rom kernel so you dont have to worry about these kernels
Once flashed remember to reboot to recovery and not system, once the device boots into your desired recovery then either restore your previous rom from backup or falsh a new one
hope this helps and remember next time before flashing a rom read the OP and atleast 4-5 last pages. Believe me this will save you a lot of trouble in your future flashing endeavours

Can't boot into recovery mode, maybe something went wrong while updating TWRP to 3.0.2 but can boot into fastboot.
also had backup of previous rom but since i can't boot into TWRP now so can't restore it. Earlier on TWRP 2.8.6 i was getting zip file execution error while restoring/installing new ROM.
So for now i have only access to fastboot mode, how to proceed futher?

You have 2 options you can flash the stock rom and recovery via fastboot here is a guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-return-opo-to-100-stock-t2826541 (Just skip step 4 don't relock the bootloader specially if you want to install TWRP) Make sure you download the correct file there is a 64gb and a 16gb listed in this guide or you can download the stock file straight from cynogen OS here https://cyngn.com/support
Or you can reinstall TWRP via fastboot by downloading TWRP here https://dl.twrp.me/bacon/ and install your backup if its still there. If its not there you can either download and install any custom rom you want or if you want the stock rom go with option 1 above and then re-install twrp. (Always remeber after installing TWRP don't fully boot into the system or you will loose TWRP, boot straight to recovery once its done flashing TWRP by holding the power button and volume down. )
