Google Plus App on P500

I can't install g+ app on my p500 anymore. I tried on CM 10.1.6, 10.2 and 11, but same iusse: "Plaese re-install app" or FC.
Yesterday I came back on CM 10.1.6 (4.2.2) after a week on CM11, so clean installation, full wipe. In system/ there is 45MB and in /data 56 MB
Before december, on CM 10.1.6 g+ works fine. I try to install old buil app, but not lucky.
Anyone has same issue?

Installed form Play store or apk? And when does the error appear. On starting the app?

I installed it from play store and apk too. Error appears on starting app (G+ or photo).

Link2SD. I install app without link2SD, same issue.

Stange but only me have this bug?

I have this bug too. I think it's because of the new version... It isn't working for me neither on CM11 nor 10.1

I'm having this bug since the dec 2013 update.. its reassuring to know that its not a problem with my phone since more people have been reporting this. hope the next update fixes it. My screenshot says the same. The app FCs immediately after launch. i did clean re-installs multiple times on internal as well as on SD card.
Now i'm using the web version!!

Get the apk of an old version. Its works fine

Which version would u recommend? Just let me know which version works for u & I'll download it too.

Still doesn't work!!
App crashes & says it is improperly installed. I reinstalled on phone as well as on SD & got same crash.

Am I the only one with the new g+ Update crashing? I tried two different rom and it crash on both.

delete/uninstall it, then reboot. install it from the play store. are you using any kind of mods that might cause this behavior?

I just installed the version before the latest from my n7. Don't know why it's not working.

Same here. After the Market automatically updated the app, it FC upon opening.

I'm getting the same thing.. I've been on three different roms and have cleared data, deleted, rebooted and reinstalled as suggested..

Okay, so I'm not the only one. I've cleared data, uninstalled updates, reinstalled updates, this has happened for the past month or two on every attempt to open.

I`m on stock/not rooted and no issues here, never had a Google+ crash so far.

Went from Droid Kang to AICP, crashing is gone.

Before the new 2.1 update they were jus black boxes.
And the only fix ive been able to find is going into Recovery (TWRP) and clearing the cache.
When i do then i get this.
I had this issue on a Rooted version of the Stock ROM. Then i tried Beanstalk and had the same problem. Now im on this rom

Not sure what the name of it is buts a Stock version. And as you can see I still have the same problem.
AHHHHHH Its driving me crazy because everytime i reboot I have this issue and then have to boot into recovery and clear the cache.
Going into Apps and clearing the cache and data of the app does not work either.
I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it samething.
I tried using a different messaging app. Same thing.
I looked at the APNs and there are like 8 of them for messaging (AT&T)
The default is the 1st one. I changed it to the 2nd to last one and had the same problem. And it keeps going to the 1st one when i clear the cache.
Please HELP!!!!!!! Its driving me nuts!!!!!!!

lol that number is no longer active. Its still in my contacts so ive been using it to test the MMS lol

Basically if I try to refresh, it will stay the same. Only way to fix this is by restarting the phone. Currently on stock 5.0.2. Rooted and bootloader unlocked. Only have AdAway installed (which isn't the problem) and a Sound mod (v4.1) from pricey (probably the culprit here). I'll reset my phone later on to see what's causing it.

Try restart your phone or reconnect your WiFi or mobile network by turn WiFi/mobile network off and wait and then turn it on again (depends on what you're using), and try to go to settings>apps>find YouTube>click clear cache and force stop
All those methods always works for me

Yeah but it keeps coming back. I want to find a solution to permanently fix this. Reset my phone. It's neither AdAway nor the Sound mod that's causing the problem.

I have the exact same problem! It is really frustrating.. But I've found a solution. If you restore your phone back to kitkat 4.4.4. YouTube won't show the error again. But some reason on lollipop the error keeps coming back.
I have also rooted and unlocked my z3's bootloader

Same for me. D6603 with Android 5.1.1 (unlocked bootloader).

Same problem here but it is not only youtube videos also facebook videos when it happens. On 4.4.4 it does not happen!

Same here. When it happens (for me) youtube doesn't work, video recording also, and I can't play any videos on my phone. Reboot helps but not for long.

Can't download Amazon app!!! Not compatible

I did a factory reset then started downloading my apps, but amazon app says my phone isn't compatible with this version, which i had before the factory reset!!

That's odd. I know it's not much help but I installed it without any issue.
What region/country is your phone's ROM? Also have you tried an older version of the Amazon app or downloaded it directly from Amazon?

Had the same happen to me. One day it wasn't compatible, the next day it was compatible but couldn't load any images, then back to being incompatible again.
I gave up and just used Hermit to create a web app. Works perfectly.

Did you download the latest version of Amazon App directly from Amazon?

I don't know if it's related, but I had issues getting the Amazon app to show my apps. The solution was to update to the latest Chrome browser. Then everything worked. If you don't have the lastest Chrome browser installed or updated, maybe do that first and then try installing Amazon again.

You have to make sure Google Play Services gets updated.

Did you ever find an official solution for your issue as I'm having the same issue.

You can download Amazon Underground app from amazon site instead of google play. It works fine on mine.

Thanks a lot for your solution. I'm already using the underground-app but it makes me nervous that my phone seems to have some ID that isn't known to the play-store.
