As we all know that in Stock GB or in Stock JB there is a folder in sdcard which leads us to external_sd.
While in CM you have to go to storage or in mnt to access your ext_sd...
Personally i don't like File explorers with root because every time you have to start your journey of exploring from /. You see in Samsung or in Simple browser you cannot see your ext_sd..
So what i do is that make a Script that is based on the binding functionalities if android..
Requirements:-
1. Ace plus running on CM 10.X
2. Script Manager i Use Smanager Get it herehttps://play.google.com/store/apps/...e=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_term=smanager
3.Any root explorer
4 .Patience
Ok...
Here we go
I made this thread in 2 types
Type 1 :automatic
Type 2:- Manual
Let's start with Automatic Method....
I have already made a script file for you..(that sound's cool)..
Download Script:- https://www.dropbox.com/s/y8w7535d17m9nx1/Fix ExternalSd.pdf
Alll you have to do just..
1. Open Smanager
2. At 1st run enable browse as root
3. Navigate to script in your sdcard
4. Click on script
5.In this tab Click on Su and on boot..Don't Forget..(See screen shots)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
6. Click on Run
7. It's over.
Now, every time you reboot your phone this script will run...
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE EXTERNAL_SD FOLDER IN YOUR SD CARD..
2. Type 2:- Manually
In this section i want you 2 make a script..(For advance Users)
1. Open Smanager
2. Press menu and select New Script
3. In that u will see 1st line of main linux line...
Ok now write this code..(without quotes)
'mount -o bind /mnt/external_sd /sdcard/external_sd'
Ok..
3. Now save it.
4. Open it as su and boot...
So its over..
Now you will see your external_sd card in sdcard....
IT TAKES HOURS TO MAKE A THREAD AND A SECOND TO HIT THANKS...
Download Script Here:-

Hello all....
Main thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611829
This is a custom recovery based on Cyanogen's recovery source with a lot of things added by Amon-RA. The purpose of this recovery is to avoid using adb by accessing all features directly from the menu.
Important notes:
Always check recovery.log before posting your issues!
You can do this by doing :
"cat /cache/recovery/log" right after you had the issue.
Use the "move log to sd" option in the "others" menu right after you had the issue. This will move the log to /sdcard/recovery.log so you can easily open it with a text editor.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Usage:
Use the Volume Buttons (up+down) to navigate through the menu, press the Home(Middle) Button to select items. Use the Back key to go back to a previous menu.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Features: (Some main features)
full ADB access in recovery mode
Kernel with ext3 + ext4 support
Supports both Amend and Edify Scripts
Partition sdcard
upgrade from ext2 --> ext4 and ext3 -->ext4 (only sd-ext)
Fix apk uid mismatches :: Does extacly that
Move recovery.log to SD :: Moves the recovery log file to your sdcard. (Use when you want more detailed recovery log information)

Make flashable zip
***************************************
rom factory app supported devices can easily make zip by just pressing create rom button
below is for nonsupported device
it may or may not work
if it doesnt work
make a cwm backup and upload
i will soon find a perfect way for making flashable zip from phone
first open root browser
and copy your system folder
copy your boot.img
and place it in
sd/romf/workdir
you dont need to add meta inf folder as rom factory creates itself
press setting button
write your and rom name and rom version
now hit the create rom button
if your phone goes into sleep make the displY timeout to max
you are done
your flashable zip is in
sd/romf
upload and share

rw-r--r--. I ran into the same problem. Revert back to stock apk and reboot. Then TURN OFF "AIR GESTURE" IN SETTINGS. Reboot. Install custom apk, fix permissions, reboot. Lmk if it worked.

Yup. It works great after using the steps outlined in my previous post. I think the problem is that I needed to disable "Air Gesture" before disabling stock apk and placing modded GlanceView.apk.

going to try this
nice
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm unable to get this working. I've tried Ghost and Glowing hardware on my S4 Active (I9295), but when I try the glance view the phone doesn't switch on. I've backed up my original glanceview.apk and replaced it with the one from the zip,then copy the background.png to the same location. I've tried with and without modifying permissions. It goes back to working fine if I replace the apk with my backup.
Any clues to where I'm going wrong?
Hello All
After many requests from some users and repeated questions
i decide to make this simple guide to help users you love swapping memory for put games or any another reason
This should work on any kk or jb (most of them have that ) rom support init.d
90 % of credits go for the script codder , i just do some simple edits on it
Please Note :
Code:
The Following Steps i tested it in my own device on both JB and KK
So , I'm not responsible for anything, neither for soft or hardbricked devices, nor for anything else
[COLOR="Red"][SIZE="3"]Do it at your OWN RISK[/SIZE][/COLOR]
So let get started
Be Sure That your device rooted
To swap your memory you should do following steps :good:
1-Download This little Script for JB
OR This for KK
2-Place The Script in /system/etc/init.d/ folder using Root Explorer
3-Set Script Permission To rwxr-xr-x as following image via Root Explorer
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3-Reboot into Recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache (optional)
4-Reboot
5-Enjoy
FAQ :
Code:
Q- how i can revert back to normal life ?
A- just delete the script in /system/init.d
Q2- is the script will still work if i reboot ?
A2- yes it will still work if you didn't delete it
A3- will this work in 4.2.2 ?
Q3- -__- read title
Q4- what if i update my rom ?
A4- the script will gone and you will need to Re do the steps :)
Q5- should i rename the script as SS you given ?
A5- no don't rename it
unfortunately if that [1] or any type if this symbols included in script name
Script won't work so keep the name as it
feel free to ask if something went wrong and i will help
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED YOU

Point of advice- Updating your CM11 will remove the int.d script so make sure to move it back!
