Has any MZ605 users tried an ICS Rom and worked fine, badly want to test Team EOS, but im afraid that it makes my wifi stop working ;-)

Olá amigo, já tentou mudar as permissōes? Tenta recolocar a oficial com root e rootexplorer e olha lá as permissões... Uma vez aconteceu o mesmo com meu U20i, daí mudei as permissões e consegui...
Ps.: além disso coloca dentro de uma pasta chamada apps (/system/apps ou coisa do tipo)
Espero ter te ajudado, eu acho o rootexplorer a melhor opçāo de mudar permissões, pois é de fácil visualizaçāo e troca

Já tentei colocar o arquivo direto na pasta "app", mudei as permissões para todas as combinações possíveis, e nada. Rs.. Andei pesquisando e acho que o problema é que naquele tal "android manifest" ele determina o sdk target como 11 e o do ICS é o 15.. mas não consigo editar o xml.

Haha.. eu ainda tenho 11 meses de garantia no meu.. minha tática: Se o aparelho deu problema, eu coloco a ROM original, e faço o gadget nem ligar mais, porque se chegar lá e não ligar, sabe como é a qualidade das assistências, né.. "Tem que trocar placa mãe" aí vai um mês de espera e eu pego outro novo. Rs...
O máximo que consegui segurar com a Rom do jeito que veio foram uns 10 dias.. depois disso já coloquei root, porque queria tirar print da tela e sem root até tinha como, mas era tanto trabalho que não tava disposto..
Não me arrependi. Agora coloquei o ICS do Team Rogue e tá melhor ainda. (Recomendo.) Só quero o gerenciador de arquivos da Motorola BR.. pq essas coisas feias de File Manager HD, Astro e tal não dá pra usar não..

The most I could handle with the original were the way they came about 10 days .. has since put root, because I wanted to print out the screen and not even had to root, but it was so much work I'm outta willing ..
I do not regret. Now put the ICS Team Rogue and he's even better. I just want the file manager of Motorola BR .. because such ugliness File Manager HD, Astro and such are useless

Saiu hoje uma versão melhor do ICS pro xoom com 3G. O pessoal tem falado bem dele. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459641
Só tou com receio de uma coisa, instalei o Tiamat 2.2.2 e deu alguns problemas com o market, alguns programas se mostravam incompatíveis com o Xoom mx601 (o brasileiro é mx605). Como tem aqui: http://code.google.com/p/tiamat-xoom-rom/issues/detail?id=21
Quero colocar esse, mas um carinha lá disse que tá com esse problema. Outros disseram que tá tudo ok. Não sei se é por causa da versão do Xoom... Brasileiro, Europeu...

Well I´m in my forth update of Team EOS Build I´m using the 33 I just upgrade from the old 22, and so far it´s work fine. Nathing to worry about.

I need root on my Xoom (MZ604 - wifi only), yesterday i updated to HoneyComb 3.2 and the next official update of Motorola (ICS) will be late.
The question is: after rooted my xoom, i'll not able update OTA. How update with official rom OTA if the xoom was rooted?
Has a way to unroot the xoom?

You need my tool (On signature, or search for LordAIOTool) It can do the both for you. And one tip, the official update is not worth... TeamEOS is better OC'ed mine and it's VERY VERY fast and stable

1) For install LAIOT.bat i need rooted xoom?
2) To root, only install the LAIOT.bat and use the "6.Root Tool"?

It's a computer tool, so you only need a plugged Xoom to root press 6 and enter, then read the instructions

Essa ROM é a mesma que veio no meu tablet. Seria bom se tivéssemos pelo menos CWM, daí a gente fazia backup da ROM e nem se preocupava.

Então estava lendo pelo fórum e será que o CWM do p6210 daria certo? Parece que vai rolar pra ele.

O meu é com 3G, P6200L, queria muito que tivesse algum, pq igual o root, ninguém tinha testado, daí eu peguei uns dias atrás e testei um método de root e funcionou, agora podia acontecer o mesmo com o CWM.

Vasculhei tudo e realmente só tem foruns pagos para baixar a rom retail do P6200L.
O meu está com a rom da vivo, queria passar uma rom clean pois estou utilizando OI nele.

I read this topic also and I wanted to make the CWM, but was afraid to brickar the tab. Now with this rom to test. now on the site to download the rom, and it costs 50.00 to download more stuff. I can pay half.

I read this, I might test it but first I'll read the updater-script to see if the partitions are the same with our tablet, which I think it is.

On that topic there's the CWM 5.5.0.4 ported by aorth so I edited the updater-script to make it work on the P6200L, flashed on my tablet and it worked!
The difference in this package I've made is that it includes only the CWM recovery and will not root your device.
Now the weird part is that it hangs at backing up data. IDK what to do. I'll try to install the older CWM to see if I have this problem.

Personally, my tab stopped working and I've not tried to do anything out of nowhere and he hung out no more than the samsung screen, this time I'm putting a rom p6200L I found on the net, then put the results.

[Q] Upgrade software on unlocked latin american version Motorola atrix 2?

Hi, I am hoping that someone could give me some guidance. I have an unlocked Latin American atrix 2. Evidently it's running the 2.3.6 gingerbread software. Normally I probably wouldn't care about outdated software. But it appears as though I am unable to download many apps from the play store with this outdated version. I tried to check for updates via the phone itself, but I get the message saying that the software is already up to date. Of course that's not true, but I'm guessing it's because the phone isn't branded with AT&T and things just rent registering as they normally should.
I have never rooted a phone or flashed a rom. This is only my second android phone. I have become very overwhelmed with the information that I have obtained tonight through my reading up on this phone and software possibilities, so please keep this in mind! What should I do? I may be wrong, but I guess my options are to go with an ice cream sandwich upgrade or the newest jelly bean upgrade. I'm not sure if either or both are compatible with the Latin America version of atrix 2. Everything I've found on this site references the Asian version, which this is not. I don't want to give up on this phone because I like it otherwise... And already have all the accessories for it. Will someone guide me please into finding a solution? Thank you very much.
Please keep any advice simple and as user friendly as possible please. I know next to nothing about flashing roms, etc. Thank you again. I'm just hoping for the easiest way to make this phone completely usable and not outdated.

The easiest way is to flash an ics fxz..since your phone is not at n t branded you can flash any fxz except at n t..check out the development section for the fxzs

Thank you for the suggestion, I searched the atrix 2 development forum and a whole assortment of topics appeared, all of which are beyond my understanding. If you have time and are willing, perhaps you can point me in a more specific direction. If you can provide me with a specific link, that'd be much appreciated. I've never flashed a rom or rooted a phone etc. before. I'm stuck.

You need 3 things:
The firmware (ICS 4.0.4): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934874
RSD Lite: http://fwteam.grupoandroid.com/OTAs/RSDLite6.1.5.zip
and Drivers: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_detail/a_id/78863/p/30,6720,8109
About firmware: Doesn't matter if it's latam, I am from Peru and Claro is my carrier. You can install the five first if you are very sure that your phone is not AT&T. In my experience the ME are more FASTER than MB, but if you are like me, I love my native language ESPAÑOL, and the spanish language of ME is not complete. I recommend you MB865 Version: 6.7.2_EDEM-18-ASIAOPS It works very well for me XD.
Later of download firware and install RSD Lite and drivers What you need to do is:
Connect the phone to PC
Turn off the phone and then press the volumen +, volumen - and power button, the three at the same time.
Then, you select AP Fastboot.
Open RSD Lite and click the three points (...) and select the firmware downloaded
Click Decompress only wait and...
Click Start button and wait...
Obviously in the proccess do not disconnect the phone. And you need 50-60% of battery at least.
It takes about 10 minutes aprox and the first boot takes another 10 minutes. All you need to do is wait until your phone ask you to SELECT A LANGUAGE.

Se você é um geek como mim, você tem que experimentar esta ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2121029). É muito mais fluida que ICS 4.0.4. Você sempre pode reinstalar ICS 4.0.4 se você não gosta de JB 4.2.2/CyanogenMod 10.1. É outro procedimento. Notifique-me se você se anima.

Atrix 2 (MB e ME) foi atualizado oficialmente a ICS 4.0.4. O que você mencionou é uma atualização de Motorola, mas não foi oficialmente liberarada. Como todos os ME, é muito mais fluido que o MB. Só tem idiomas Chinês(e variaçoes), Inglês e Espanhol. Para mim funcionou tudo, mas gosto do espanhol e a tradução não estava completa. :/
Sobre 4.2.2/CM10.1, Para mim tudo funciona exceto o HDMI. O gravador de video não permite 1080p, só 720p. Mas eu não uso essas funções então não é um problema pra mim... por agora rsrsrs.
Pra algumas pessoas a pantalla fica preta, mas não e meu caso XD. Ninguém tem certeza porque isso pasa.

Se eu pegar e colocar essa rom 4.1.2 CN , Posso posteriormente voltar para o ICS 4.0.4, pelo mesmo processo RSD lite? e outra coisa quando eu instalei essa rom 4.0.4 coloque o idiome em portugues, mas hoje testei o english, mas quando fui selecionar o portugues novamente nao aparece na lista de idioma, porque?

Vc pode voltar a ICS pelo mesmo processo. Sobre o idima tenta WIPE CACHE.
Connect the phone to PC
Turn off the phone and then press the volumen +, volumen - and power button, the three at the same time.
Then, you select Recovery whait until you can see an android fallen XD.
Press the volumen +, volumen - at the same time.
Select wipe cache partition and press power button... wait and...
Reboot system now

Beleza, por enquanto eu vo ficar nessa rom 4.0.4, mais pra frente eu testo a rom 4.1.2 CN, e quando essa rom 4.2.2 que voce me falo tiver com HDMI funcionando me fala que ai eu animo colocar ela. Obrigado.

AJUDA!!!HELP!!

Hello, recently went into settings and system upgrade and had to update lollipop 5.0.2 for my bike g, then downloaded and installation time gave error and not updated! I had broken the root and rebloqueado the bootloader just for this update, reinstalled the original stock ROM and the original recovery, I tried to install over the air more always gives the same error and aborts the installation! If anyone can help save a life here, vlw!

Diego, if you did some change in system partition or in build.prop , you wil have to revert it. You will need root permission to do it. After that, just unroot and use stock recovey will be suficient to upgrade.

I had done unlocking the bootloader and root but undid this before upgrade and recovery is the original 4.4.4

Diego, até onde sei (lendo nós tópicos aqui mesmo), se você desbloquear o bootloader, atualizações OTA (over the air) não são mais possíveis. Qualquer informação de atualização que vier ao sistema quando você está com o celular ligado não será executada.
Oriento que siga este tutorial, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/install-brazil-5-0-ota-xt1033-t2963800, para restaurar o aparelho. Qualquer tipo de problema, poste informações, o que está escrito na tela e estas coisas.

Help, HARDBRICK of 5.0 to 4.4

Pessoal, sou brasileiro e possuo um XT1032, e estava utilizando o Lollipop no meu aparelho, e então, decidi instalar o 4.4 novamente. Instalei certo, e apareceu a atualização pro 4.4.4 e sem querer, atualizei. Acontece que deu HARDBRICK em meu aparelho e não consigo voltar de jeito nenhum. Alguem sabe alguma formula para resucita-lo?
Usando o google tradutor/Using the translator google:

Full Lollipop firmware has been released, try flashing it.

Pesquise sobre adb e fastboot, e tente fazer o flash stock da versão anterior (que você usava), ou pesquise algum toolkit, onde geralmente tem a opção de hardbrick/bootloop.

Oi Rafa, seguinte fazer esse downgrade é bem complicado.
Como o Lolipop 5.0 atualiza o bootloader do Moto G, fazer downgrade, caso sucedido, deixa algumas sequelas.
Agora com o seu caso é só esperar a Motorola lançar a rom completa para o pessoal poder atualizar o MBM CI.
Ah e acho que alguns moderadores vão reclamar desse tópico com respostas só em português
Navegando no fórum eu achei uma rom completa, tente flashear ela, talvez vá reviver seu Moto G
