VOIP decoding in DSP

Hello,
I am developing a custom VOIP application which use AMR-WB as the codec. I was reading QCOM documents saying it is possible to use the DSP as the vocoder to offload the task from the host CPU.
did any one try to use this option and can share any information, for example amix commands to set the mixer and how to choose codec type and bit rate?
Thanks

how is MXPlayer able to play non-native codecs?

Greetings,
I'm working on an android port of Android 5.1.1 on a device that does not have native codec support for MPEG2 (no video/mpeg2 in /etc/system/media_codecs.xml), yet I find when I install MX Player on this platform it can playback MPEG2 files. Note I have not downloaded/installed any codec packs. Is there some native software decode built into MX Player? The processor architecture is an ARM Coretex-A8.
My goal is to understand how to playback MPEG2 in an application of my own, so I'm trying to understand how MX Player does it.
Thanks for any info,
Tim

You Should Add AC+ Audio Codec support and 3d video support

Dear Developers,
I know mx player is the best video player ever.
But YOU should add 2 more features.
Firstly,You should add ac3 audio codec support again.:crying:
Secondly,If it possible then you should add a option to play 3D video ( like,The KM Player.exe )
Thank you..:good:

AC-3/DTS support is removed due to patent issues. You can use custom codec to restore the AC-3/DTS support.

Question Bluetootg Audio Codec

Can anybody help me? I use Sony's WH1000XM3 headphones and by no means can I set LDAC audio codec. There's only AAC available for me. Why?
Go into developer options and find Bluetooth codec option, there you can select LDAC.
