[Q] Anyone have a UCLF5/UXCLF5 Odin .TAR file?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a .TAR of the latest leak. It would help if I just had to ODIN to that if all else failed. Thanks.
sammobile.com has uxlf3.

sammobile.com has the latest official tar files for both at&t and rogers ... and now with ICS for at&t

is this the stock US 8013 fw?

Just want a back up in case I need it, so is this it?

I'm not familiar with sammobile firmwares and have not used them as backups but here is another option.
Download, extract and flash via ODIN or Mobile ODIN.

[Q] Took mf1 update & rooted. Do I need bootchain?

Hi.
I just got a gs3. I'm not new to rooting or flashing but don't understand these bootchain things.
I received the mf1 update yesterday and was on mb1. After that I followed the rooting guide and installed teamwin recovery.. The last part of the guide says its optional to get on the boot chain. Im not sure if this means I need to find mf1 bootchain to install before I flash roms or not, or if it only applies to people on the bad update. Didn't have the guide updated with the mf1 download link.
Can anyone provide some insight into this? What is the purpose of flashing a bootchain and since I was on the mf1, do I need it again? I'm not getting prompted to update like some others report.

The mf1 bootchain isn't available yet from what I know. It shouldn't give you issues keeping the one from the guide. The bootchain is simply a series of steps your phone takes in order to boot. The method used recommends switching back because the bootchain is newer than the one used to allow a recovery flash and superuser injection. I think you're probably safe keeping it, but you're better off switching to an mf1 bootchain when one becomes available.

Going back to Stock

Hi all,
I am trying to revert my S3 currently on 4.1.2 with baseband I535VRBLK3 back to locked/unrooted stock. The guides I am finding either have broken links or are outdated. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
i should mention: the stock roms that I have found so far have failed when I try using odin to flash them

Yes, all three files will format the phone's internal storage and return you to fresh, out of the box factory setup. It will be as if the phone is being activated for the first time.
This may be dumb question, but if I have VRUCNC1 now, could I flash VRBMF1 to allow me to root the phone? My final goal is to be able to use Clock Work Recovery and custom ROM.
Thanks

No you cannot flash back to VRBMF1 and root. You can ODIN flash back to VRUCML1 and root, but you will still not be able to use clock work recovery. Saferoot and safestrap recovery will be your only options.
