Phone is now ***unlocked*** but the problem is that i cant get into recovery again, also phone stuck at bootscreen (beats logo).
Phone was updated before to the latest software ( ICS 4.0.3 ).
Any idea how to solve this?
EDIT:
Phone after some time (and battery of the phone) is able to go into bootmode...
Now i know that i have s-off and unlock also
Anyway i got some problem with 4ext recovery to flash (phone isnt rooted yet) but i got some solution with PG58IMG.zip, but now got kinda hardware problem with turning on phone again.. (need wait again some time - like cooldown)
Now question: its possible that is hardware damage?
Battery is brand new, cuz i thinked that was the problem.
news:
about phone:
phone is fully unlocked and with s-off also with superCID. Hboot 1.29
Zip adding recovery was successful.
After that i tried to install Viper5, fully wiped phone, soft was installed and last thing was restart phone.
Now bad things: phone stuck at htc logo, also im unable to get 4ext recovery again ;/
Any ideas how to solve this?
Maybe i should flash all with PC tool?
try to flash the boot.img of the rom via fastboot command
fastbot flash boot boot.img

Hey guys,
I am currently following the unroot process here (http://theunlockr.com/2011/10/03/how-to-unroot-the-htc-sensation-4g/), and am running into some issues. I downloaded the most recent RUU from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074559), and followed the instructions on both the RUU and the unlockr website. It took almost an hour and a half to download the RUU from FileFactory, and then it failed to do anything. My phone didnt even react to the RUU before it said that there was an "unknown error" and what not.
Right now I am trying to get a different, slightly older RUU but again it is claiming it will take over an hour (honestly, 386MB should not take that long to download). So first question is, are there any reliable mirrors for the TMOUS RUU? Second, does anyone have an idea on why it failed the first time I tried it? I followed the instructions to a T and it failed. Third, is this the only way to unroot and get S-ON?
I need to unroot and get S-ON for warranty work done on this phone.
Thanks a lot.
EDIT: I just tried the different RUU and I came across the same issue. I have no idea why this isnt working. This is the error I am getting...

Boot phone into FASTBOOT, connect to your PC and try again. Should work fine after that
Also, is the RUU actually one for your handset?
Hi guys, i got almost dead phone in mine hands and I really want to try to give it a new life.
I dont know all what was done to it before, but it was soft bricked, then few people tried to recover and bricked it even more, then in SC it was disassembled with no success, and now i have it.
What is working:
1. i can get here -

}
2. theres no recovery on phone, no at all, also all partitions are clean and broken, but i can boot cwm with "fastboot boot" command
3. from cwm i can get to root shell in busybox with "adb shell"
4. fdisk on /deb/block/mmcblk0 fails and nowhting happens
5. in recovery any action with internal memory fails with error that can't mount /deb/block/mmcblk0p** (** are numbers for different partitions)
6. flashing from bootloader with PG58IMG.zip hangs on writing and nothing happens
all internal partitions are broken somehow, they fail to mount, and can't be written on, is there ANYTHING that can be done?
Please help me guys
Anyway its bricked so try to flash 1.17 bootloader you r already S-off then try to unlock bootloader via htcdev. Then flash gingerbread RUU if it start working there is nothing wrong to try you won't loose anything because its already bricked.

Hi,
A few months back, I unrooted my NS4G in order update to the official ICS release. Initially, I was content with the official ICS on my phone, however, I've come to miss the fun mods and features that are available with custom ROMs. Now, I can't seem to re-root my phone.
The bootloader is still unlocked so I tried going into recovery like old times but received a blank screen with an image of the android bot face down with its back door open and an exclamation point (pictured below).
Please help. Although I've rooted a few phones, including this one, I still feel like a rookie and may be missing something very simple.
Thanks!!!

You need to snag a custom recovery and get the current superuser. After that, you will need to make sure you either edit the script or delete the script in the system so it doesn't overwrit CWM.
Recovery fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27027436&postcount=8
Superuser:http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
CWM
The recovery needs to be pushed while in the bootloader via fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-crespo4g.img
Recovery first, superuser flash 2nd, fix the recovery last once you've fully booted up.
When the faced down android appears , try pressing volume up button once . Helped me one time.

So how about an update? How are you going with it?
I have had intermittent problems in the past similar to yours, and I was able to solve it - where are you up to?
You should go into a command prompt on your computer then do a fastboot oem lock then unlock. (This will erase all data)
Tell me if this works
Screenshot shows the phone is already unlocked-
so ive been researching for a while on how to get my HTC Amaze 4g to upgrade to ICS. It's rooted, S-On, and unlocked using htc's website.
I tried to "re-lock" my device first so i could use the update, but right after it relocks, the phone wont leave fastboot screen. If i pull the battery and turn it on it goes straight to fastboot, plug it in goes to fastboot.
What do i do??!?!!?
I downloaded hasoon's HTC All in one kit but i couldnt figure out how to install a stock recovery...
I'm pretty noob so can you guys please help me?
Do i put the ph85img first and then relock my device? then let h-boot run that file ? or what....
These are the instructions i am following:
Below instructions for S ON users only who wish to remain S ON
Flash stock recovery
Relock phone (fastboot oem lock)
Flash rom update in bootloader (rename ruu to PH85IMG.zip, place on SD card and boot to bootloader)
Unlock with HTC tool
Flash custom recovery
Flash superuser package
Done!

I had My HTC One S working fine with an unlocked bootloader, CWM Recovery, and CyanogenMod 10.2. One day, I get a notice that there's a system update, so I thought, hey that's cool, over the air updates for CyanogenMod. So I do it and now when it boots it looks like this:
{

}
With some difficulty, I was able to get into the bootloader then into CWM. I cleared everything and re-flashed the original CyanogenMod ROM, but it still does this when it boots. It also does not appear to turn on properly. Does anybody know what's going on here?

Your link doesn't work.
I also cannot see any picture of your screen, but I think you mean freaky colours on your screen.
This is due to updated display drivers some time ago on CMs side.
Which means if you use a newer ROM, you also have to use a newer kernel to get the correct colours back.
If you are S-On your kernel won`t be updated by just flashing the firmware, you have to fastboot the kernel afterwards.
