But the processor architectures are completely different..
still will be nice to see cm running on our core.. all the best

I just realised the cpu architecture is different,i have found a device with same cpu architecture and same res but its another vendor
Btw the device is ZTE Blade III Pro.If anyone is good at porting roms add me on skype or pm me.

I own that device. the ZTE Blade III Pro. I'm trying to port CM and MIUI for it. Hell of a work though. If you manage to make a working CM for Galaxy Core let me know because i'm stuck and MIUI porting and it would be a lot easier to port from a working device. HTC Desire X runs unofficial CM 10.1 build so you may try port from it. Nice work though :good:

And i know that's almost impossible to port costom look roms but again it's worth trying
make it for i8260 please.. because everything now is going to the i8262...

Seems project not active ! Cyanogenmod is not a simple rom that can be complied by any one !!

From past experience (SGS2) I got good performance upgrade switching to CM.

Yeah I have visited it before, thanks but there are no ROMs available there. But I have rooted my phone, got help from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1759284. Just waiting for some ICS Roms.

but you can always download the stock rom with "CheckFusDownloader_v2.1" (attached)
to get your phone pda/csc/phone dial *#1234#. product code is on the phone box

To make a full nandroid backup we need Custom recovery such as CWM. I'tsme12345' have made a modded CWM for our device, so visit this link........http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31750689 .

UNFORTUNATELY am not gettin ans why there are so many customRoms available for ace but not for ace duos.....
Also its not possible for the upgradation in to android 4.x... but that can be easily made in galaxy ace ...
about some months from nw ..i was very dying to search for custom rom for my phone...finally found Ashish's thread.. and i got the rom... SINCE rom was just a sideway to a new theme on my phone..there was no functional enhancement ..totally....i have contacted vihem, ravi, Gin earson...many of with their threads ....saying about the hardware quality of samsung and ..the basic cheap processors they are using in their phones....usually the all have same point about how could a 800mhz iphone 4s(not actually 1 ghz you can google) beat a dual core of samsung ,....again the answer came is their cheap and cost efficient hardwares and processors......so guys ...xda have provided a lot for futiure investments in which section of phone if you have strong erge regarding performance...must go for other alternatives than samsung....go for iphone if you can spend ...or go for sony or nOkia, lg .htc etc ...

****ing hell!!! i really have to say ace duos sucks quite a lot compared to the old first ace even if they're both 800 mhz of processor, i've been very disappointed. :/

All of us do not want a custom rom .we just for a look of an ui say for eg: the new samsung touchwiz ux which is on s5 can be added on to our samsung s6802 device which will look great,so can some one try this it could be great !!!

As we know xposed framework is for 4.0+ gingerbread backported xposed still lags in many features,so I request some dev to develop a app that can just change the ui just as xposed that should work on 2.3+ atleast.,.,.,.,,.,,.

believe me i used all types of search queries.

and lastly i cant seem to understand why a quad core phone struggles with 720p HD video playback .
is it possible to remedy that by flashing a custom ROM?

Device too new?
I've been looking for custom ROMs for the i8552 this week. I think the device is too new to have custom ROMs (released May 2013), and has not elicited the level of marketing attention as the S4, S3 LTE from Samsung.
I sure hope that changes though. I chose this device over the Galaxy Express (i8730) for the mere fact that everything almost being equal, the Galaxy i8552 (or Grand Quattro as it's called in some markets) has a quad-core processor. It'd be a waste if no devs hacked up a ROM for this great value phone.
i think all users of this device should come together and form a thread.after enough users are there we can request xda for a forum..
I was wondering if a custom will allow this device to play hd videos smoothly.
if yes, then ill try building my own rom. Cuz I believe the adreno 203 gpu is atleast capable of 720p playback.
also, is it possible to decode the video using the cpu? That might make 1080p playback possible

i am not able to root my galaxy grand quattro after the new ota update.. please tell me the

problems installing balli boxer 4.2.2 rom
i have a galaxy grand and was trying to install Gennxt Rom by balli boxer on it.
upgraded it to leaked firmware 4.2.2 and downloaded the Gennxt ROM but the problem is when i try to install it through CWM it says installation aborted can any1 plzzz help me out with this.

Please don't make me regret for buying this phone. I only bought it because i thought that it's development will go on forever unlike its competitors Micromax A116 and XOLO Q1000.
Samsung provides the source code right? The other manufacturer's don't provide it, so development is limited.
Also, Samsung has a good service here(India) then it's counterparts.

you can't use the firmware or ROM of any other device on to your Samsung GALAXY S Duos GT S7562, it will end up in a dead phone which may not be recoverable by yourself,
though a working KITKAT version is available through Optional ROM that is Cyanogenmod 11.

today I download the latest cm10.1 build on 20131227 for Mini2 by the whisp,then I replace boot.img,build.prop,update-script with S7500s',I successed flash this rom using cwm.
my phone boot with Samsung logo and s7500,then the screen still on,no white screen,no bootanimation,just on. button light also on.I wait for about ten minutes,nothing changed.I reflash techkang's rom.
so anybody who knowns how to port CM from mini2 to our device?I think the whisp would help us to fix bugs.don't you think so?
