Any nice carbon fiber or metal cases?

I been looking around ebay and amazon for a nice slim real carbon fiber case or metal but dont seem to find any. do you guys know any place that might sell some? thanks.

no.. but you can't go wrong with seidio cover cases.. they go for $30-20 online but you can hopefully fine them at your local best buy stores for $10. I'm happy with my cover.. it's not slick as carbon fiber or metal nor it's rough, i can say the case is just perfect..

I went to 2 local best buys and none of the stores had any nexus one cases or accesories they only had platinum cases for the nexus s sucks.

There are also the "Chrome" Casemate Barely-there's on Ebay, fwiw.

I'm leaning towards this one it has a metal back finish with a silicone wrapping the phone. What do you guys think?

when it is difficult but not impossible, very careful when disassembling
the material 3m is expensive

Hay thanks, saw your link, purchased it, applied it. Ive been looking for a nice carbon fiber case/skin. Its just unfortunate that the nexus one doesnt have to many case options. heres a couple picks. i believe they're 3m di-noc carbon fiber vinyl. Nice to the touch, the issue comes at the edges where its round, and the added thickness makes it incompatible with the dock which was my biggest woe.
UPDATE: Removed the bottom part, I use the dock to much and cant handle the incompatibility, i think it look just fine without the bottom part.

I put a carbon fiber vinyl on my nexus one then I a got a TPU case with a see through back and black edges for more protection since the carbon fiber only cover battery door and bottom. not the best looking but I think it looks ok.

Ringke Slim case for Nexus 4.

I can't recommend these cases enough. I loved the Slim for my Galaxy Nexus. A very well designed case with minimal bulk. I doubt it offers the most protection but for those looking for just a little extra protection, this is the way to go.

These cases are minimal drop protection, perfect for the minimalist, not so good for a 6 foot drop. (Although you will be surprised what a little bit of material can do!)

I had the white one for my GNex and it was glossy white. I really hope this one is matte white.

Yeah with the galaxy s iii now they have glossy white and matte white, that's why I have no idea if this is matte or glossy, i really hope is matte

The Ringke Slim was excellent for the Galaxy Nexus and even better for the iPhone 5...count me in. Ordered.

Agh, why did they make it protect the sides and not the top and bottom like the GN slim case....Maybe because it was so hard to remove the case, heh.

I ordered the white one a few hours ago and just got this email wasn't it a pre-order? I even got a tracking number

I ordered overnight and just got a shipping notification from Amazon with a tracking number (USPS) as well.

Does anyone know if there's a eyelet for phone straps on this case?

I understand the importance of a case like this... I just don't get why design a sexy glass phone just to cover it up so you don't even see it.
Wouldn't a truly smart design be sexy and durable not requiring a case?

It's a gorgeous looking case but as mentioned before, the top and bottom part of the bezel is open.
Someone needs the same make a case where there's an opening in the back so we can show off the Nexus logo.

Back cover or case

it's a back cover,
i had one of those on my galaxy S3,
forget it, the GPS Reception was awful. When i put my original back cover on, the reception was almost perfect.
no thanks.

Leather pull-tab pouch for £5 and an S-line gel case for £2 - both off of eBay. The gel case should fit inside of the pouch. My phone is still a cardboard cutout though...

True, I agree. But it is functional and offers good protection.
I got the cheap TPU case to start off with as I know it will fit well (from experience on other phones) and I can use it straight away when I receive my phone.
Now I have time to keep my eye out for a more suitable case that looks nice and offers good protection, but I’m fussy and I don’t want to order something from the internet that I don’t like, I can now take my time and took around while I’m out and about.
I just didn't want to risk not having a case and drop it the first time I go outside! :crying:

Here's mine with the Cruzerlite Bugdroid TPU Case and Spigen Ultra Fine (Orange) Screen Protector.
The first shows the screen protector.. trying to show the lack of glare and fingerprints. The other two are the case itself.

Hey guys. I just want to share this case I got for my GS4. The case feels good in hand and it doesn't add that much dimension to the phone. All in all this case is effective for the external impact protection and surely your S4 would look so sexy once you dress it up with this case. For $29, I wouldn't really keep this case, but I got the case with 50% off last week at amazon. Thanks!

Is the back of the case plastic-y or it's rubber? It'd be terrible to pull out of a pocket if it's rubber.

No that was the spigen super thin TPU one which I guess is really sharp on the insides. and fits really loose and is all around a piece of crap

It looks nice, but the sharpening of the corners. Makes it look a little too much like an iPhone for my taste. That said, how's the quality and fitment? Do you feel it adequately protects the phone? I just ordered an Incipio DualPro shine. Hoping it doesn't get here before the phone does

I have no idea about the bezel chipping they are talking about. As far as I can see, there's no contact between the plastic frame and the phone, only the TPU. It probably happened due to mistake installation or he could be changing cases very often.

How is the drop protection of this case?

Back in topic, after buying like 16 cases the best for me has been the Otterbox Commuter: right ammount of protection with minimal bulk. Toughest cases are so bulky and cheaper ones do not provide such effectiveness when talking about regular drops.
Anyway your choose will be the best, cheers!

I also had a bad experience with an incipio dual pro. It was not snug and the phone kept falling out of the case. I love my Targus Safe port but it's not easy to take the phone out if you do a lot of battery swaps. I'm looking at a Pure gear Dual tek or a Spigen neo hybrid for something more user friendly. I do heaps of battery swaps

After testing a few decided to SPIGEN Ultra Fit
Protects but at the same time is not that big.

Lifeproof fre gets my vote for best so far. Of course with the price tag it should be amazing, lol

The same thing happened to me. Their replacement bands are ridiculously overpriced so I won't be buying another Spigen cover.

My spigen neo hybrid cracked near the energy interface too.
And second layer of my yellow frame made bubbels and fall down.
To expensive for this bad quality.
