Earphones doesn't work with my nexus 4

Yesterday I have purchased a google nexus 4 and noticed that none of my 3 earphones working with nexus 4. There is a faint sound in earphones and there is also a faint sound simultaneously with device's speaker. I have 3 different headphones, one from nokia, one from galaxy s3 and the last one is a normal earphone without mic that I use with my computer.
Is there a hardware issue in nexus 4?
Sorry guys, disregard my posted issue. Earphones are working fine. I was testing them in ringtone settings where audio comes from both the earphone and the speaker. I transfered a song to the device and then checked to find out that there is no issue.

[Q] Nexus 5 Bluetooth with Plantronic Backbeat Go Problem

Hi!
Anyone tried to pair up Nexus 5 with Plantronic Backbeat Go successfully?
I have tried today and it failed.
Nexus 5 cannot even see the headset.
I have tried the headset on the other phone, the headset works.
I have also tried pairing the Nexus 5 to the other bluetooth device, it works as well.
Thanks a lot.

[Q] Bluetooth headset for Nexus 5

With all of the articles about Bluetooth issues on the Nexus 5, I am a little nervous about buying a Bluetooth headset. What headsets do we know works with the Nexus 5 and 4.4.4? Any recommendations? I just want to use it in my car with Google Now and possibly some phone calls and streaming audio.
I've used Nokia BH-108 with my Nexus 5 and it works. Not sure about other ones. I sincerely hope you don't use the headset while driving

Nexus 6p, Gear S2 and car phone Bluetooth issues.

So after a bit of experimenting, this is what i have going on. I have my gear s2 and a nexus 6p and a 2011 Toyota 4Runner with the navigation. My nexus can not gain access to my car via Bluetooth, either phone or car audio as long as the gear s2 has it's Bluetooth on. When i turn the Bluetooth off on my gear s2, i can then access the phone via car Bluetooth. Afterwards, i can turn the Bluetooth back on on the gear s2 and everything is fine.
Incidentally, i can pair and use the gear with my car Bluetooth (but can't get access to my contacts on the gear s2). With both available to my car phone, only the gear s2 will automatically pair with the car. I can't switch to my nexus from the gear. But if the gear is off, my phone then pairs automatically with my car.
Now i know the nexus 6p has some documented issues with Bluetooth. Both portable devices use the A2DP profile. But has anybody had issues similar to this with their car and phone? (Incidentally, I didn't have this issue with my gear s2 and my galaxy s5.)

And this is why we don't use Samsung smartwatch with non Samsung phones. Even though they will tell you it will work with any phone, it will only work "properly" with a galaxy phone. I gave up trying to get the gear s2 to work properly with my 6p. Having to soft reset the watch every time I went out of range of my phone drove me insane. Sold it & bought a Sony smartwatch 3. Haven't had any problems since. As for the nexus Bluetooth issues, I haven't had any.
I'd guess its the S2's fault as well. I have a moto360 attached to my nexus 6p and have never had any form of bluetooth issue. I usually have my moto360 and a pair of bluetooth headphones or a bluetooth speaker attached and its fine.

Bluetooth Mono Headset

I have paired my ageing Jabra BT2020 mono (in one ear) headset to my Nexus 5x phone but it will not play music. It does however function with my Nexus 7(2013) tablet using Mono Bluetooth Router app. There seem to also be requirement for an app on my 5x to provide this functionality but the one I use on my tablet is not compatible. I would very much appreciate advice on the best and simplest way of making this connection.
Thanks.
SOLVED.
Installed BT Mono on both Nexus devices. Easy operation.
Apologies for posting.
