Hi @all,
I'm searching for a "simple" App, but can't find one.
Maybe a XDA Dev can create one!?!
In the winter it is sometimes tricky to pick up a call with swipingfrom left to right.
It would be great if there would be an app where it is possible to configure a button (e.g. 2 times Vol+) to pick up a Call.
Would be great if someone with Dev-Skills could make such an App.
Thank you in advance.
Greetings

One of the things I have always liked about the HTC products (at least on AT&T) is the Note button that is visible when you end a call. When you push it, it brings up a note using a special template that fills in the date & time of the call as well as caller information. Sadly, this has been removed from the TF3D call screens.
I know that with Diamond Tweak, you can set the Fuze to use the AT&T (HTC) default which brings back the Note button (as well as on-screen talk and end buttons). Unfortunately, when you do this, you no longer get the large, friendly caller ID screen. All you get is the popup at the bottom.
If someone knows how to get to the Notes call log template from the TF3D call screen(s), please let me know. Or perhaps one of the developers out there can find a way to create a new skin to incorporate the Note button (and maybe bring back the onscreen talk button).
Thanks,
Joe
How about removing the stylus during the call? The default setting is to launch the Notes app with all the call info pre-filled.

True, but it JUST launches the Notes app and doesn't launch the template. I went there already. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Mine does launch the template with the various fields filled in (and even puts it into a separate folder named "Calls") when I remove the stylus.

I don't know why but the first time I tried that it just opened a regular note. Seems to be working as you say now. I'd still like the button since I don't scribble notes, I type them.
For the time being, I'm switched back to the WinMo dial pad. I have a cab file that skins that dial pad on the older HTCs to make bigger buttons. I may try it out on this one and see what happens. Still doesn't get me the large, friendly caller ID.
htcactionscreen.exe worked very well on my TyTn II. You assign it to a button and it brings up a screen to select new note, new appointment, new email, new sms, new task, new contact... The screen went way after a few seconds if you don't make a selection.
Has anyone got it running on the HD2? Also is there an app where you can assign shaking the HD2 to replace a button function on the HD2? Combining shaking with bringing up the htcactionscreen.exe would be a great wheeze.

Did try and it didn't come up.
Hey guys, got a question,
I am working on my first app, a dictionary app, using the sample code for SearchableDictionary v2. I wanted to create a "SEARCH" button on the main screen instead of using the MENU button all the time.
QUESTION: How do I point the new search "button" I created to activate the "search" activity? I have tried placing onClick="something" using all kinds of strings but I just get a Force Close.
thanks in advanced!
Good evening everybody.
Sorry for asking a simple question... does it exist a good/power saving app, for having a customizable agenda directly on the lockscreen?
And a more difficult one: I am studying German... and I would like to find a widget that allows me to just display some words I previously wrote down, together with their meaning and/or few explanations (just to help memory each time I switch on the phone). Is there anything dedicated or suited to this purpose?
Thank you very much for any hint you could provide!

Hello guys this is my first time to post here I need some help and I believe you guys have the enough skills and experience to help me out.
I downloaded this app called Back button - everywhere from the playstore
It's working fine and everything but I was wondering if someone could increase the size of the box "button" or maybe edit the dimensions so it becomes a bit more like a rectangle button or something..
The thing is I'm not using this app for the same thing it was made for, I'm only using it to hide a specific part of my phone screen just to avoid touching that part. So yeah if you guys have an alternative to it I'd appreciate that I have been trying to find anything similar but unfortunately I couldn't, most likely it's the only app that fits my need. I can set it to "do nothing when clicked" also the transparent background is what I love about so yeah
In the photo these are the options I can edit the size but it's limited to that particular area (red box)
Could someone help just make that box a little more bigger? That's all I need thank you
Edit : double it's size horizontally would be perfect. Like.. two boxes next to each other that's the size I need thank you
An app named "Back button - everywhere" isn't available on Google Play Store. But 2 apps named "Back button - anywhere". What the app you really refer to?
