i have found an apkinstaller app on the huawai xda forums
its an stock app on a huawai phone
this app can install apk files that are stored on your phone
you can easily select the apk files you want to install

no i post only the apps that i think are useful sharing to make everybody's life easier and i'm to lazy to browse all the other forums.
it just that my Z1 is send away for a repair and i got an huawai acend p6 as a temporary loaner phone
and this app was on that phone, so looked it up and downloaded it in the huawai forums.
there are also similar installer apps on the play store but they all have ads or you have to browse the apk files manually on your phone
and the best things in life are free :laugh:
Don't make from people idiots... They don't need any "apkimstallers". They are making roms, kernels and you think that they don't know how to install apk? If you don't have now your Z1 don't post in this section.

i could also make an tutorial to make a flashable zip to install all your apps
but there will always be noobs that want to do it the easyest way and this app is a good way to do it
stop complaining and just try it out next time you want to install a lot .apk files
Instead of installing a lot of apps better to make backup of apps and restore it...

I saw the x4 video player on YouTube then I installed this but it doesn't work does anyone know why? It says device not compatible only for Xperia z series but mine is z1 shouldnt it work.
I tryed a ported version I think it was from Samsung Thread it works nice.

This app is only made for Xperia Z and he want to get it work with Z1 but is impossible He already get answer so thread should be closed.

I am using an unrooted Sony Xperia Z1 C6902 with Android 4.3. When i open this app, sometimes it stops. But i try to open it again, it works.

Try putting a widget for apollo on homescreen because I always had one. Maybe that's the case.
Where is DPS equaliser? For now, Apollo uses Walkman equaliser. Music is the same on Apollo and Walkman so keeping Apollo is useless.

Apollo is using default equaliser and stock roms don't have Cyanogenmod equaliser. I think it's actually a lot better. You find your song in no time - artist/album pictures download on the fly, nice and simple look, no clutter and you can theme it if you want. It's using little resources aswell so it's battery friendly.
Oh, and every downloaded images are stored so you don't have to redownload them everytime you start the app again.

You're welcome. I'll update it from time to time as new commits would come out. Not sure how to merge changes in my source and with github sources. That would really make it easier for me because I wouldn't have to fix the same strings issues every new build.

Yup, I don't know where are the latest Apollo GB sources. I've found source for CM9.1,CM 10.1,10.2,11but nothing further. If you know where it is then post a link here and I will try to build it.

Dayum, I don't even know how it exactly works, not to say that all I can do is fixing errors that Eclipse points out when compiling.
I'm not a developer, not at all, all I did is just fixing missing strings from translations and compiling from source.
I could try to merge it with current code If you would provide me the code to copy into apollo.

Only thing I can find really is this:
Open the Google app
go to the menu (three horizontal lines)
go to Accounts & Privacy
Disable "Open web pages in app"

And my own thoughts, if it is opening in the stock browser/google app, to use a package disabler (No root needed) and disable the stock browser/google app app, might be able to do it from application manager too
Doesn't work. Links from email app open in Dolphin. But those from messaging app are open in strange way.

Yea, that's my point, if you can not find a way, which looks likely, then maybe changing SMS apps is the best idea for you

Install any new browser, then when you open the link in messenger it should ask you which browser to open the link with, pick dolphin then delete the browser you installed.

This is why I said you should try another SMS app....
But I don't want to try another app. I just want to solve this problem. If you have an idea how to do this, just let me know. But don't recommend to change the app because it's not the point of this thread. Thanks!

Why are you being so stubborn about not switching SMS apps? Obviously this one can not do what you are asking, when others can
Not the first time stock apps are limited compared to 3rd party
You use Dolphin instead of Stock browser, what's so bad about doing the same with the SMS app?

None im device tree and kernel, but LineageOS is changing all the time. If you want to see changelog, you can check here - https://download.lineageos.org/.
Most of changes that are not in sone "android_device" or "android_kernel" are in our build.
For example, there were changes im camera lately, and now you can scan QR codes with the stock app.
