Big announcement! SlimRoms gerrit goes public!

Big announcement! We are proud to announce that SlimRoms gerrit goes public!
This means you as a user can contribute to the code that builds slim. From now on, if you would like to see a change in the rom, and add something to the source code, you can push the change yourself in the gerrit. If you're already familiar with gerrit you know it can take a long time for a patch to get published, that's why we added a little quirk to speed things up.
SlimRoms have always been a product of the voice of the community, and now we've taken one more big step further in this direction, to become the rom of the community.
To read the announcement in whole visit: http://www.slimroms.net/
To head straight to the gerrit go to: https://gerrit.slimroms.net/
With all this said we would also like to give a huge thanks to all the users who already contributed using the gerrit.
Regards

I there, I can't repo upload here a quick debug:
Code:

Any idea? Thx
Pushing with repo requires some tuning (of which I've never personally done), you can do git push ssh bla bla bla

I'm getting a similar error as above trying to submit changes using 'repo upload'. I've tried the following in my git config :
Code:
review.gerrit.slimroms.net.username
review.gerrit.slimroms.net.email
gerrit.review.slimroms.net.username
gerrit.review.slimroms.net.email
gerrit.slimroms.net.username
gerrit.slimroms.net.email
I can connect via SSH to gerrit.slimroms.net, CM and github, but still no joy with repo upload. What am I doing wrong ?
--
Edit: a Slimroms team member got in touch with me about this and advised that I use 'git push ssh' instead, and kindly provided the syntax. Worked like a charm, thank you !

[ROM][X52X][6.0.1][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 13.0 for LeEco Le2

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Great work man!! Thanks a ton for working on this! Just one question, does VoLTE work? If you want I can test it for you because in India it's the most sought out feature we want right now! ( We have unlimited 4g and VoLTE calls till March )
@codeworks there was an article in xda about IR blaster which said that Leeco uses full fledge universal remote. so default IR API's of AOSP/CM will not work.

@codeworkx: I am writing to thank you for your work, and to ask you the following questions:
Do you intend it to be the OFFICIAL CM/LOS distribution for the Le 2?
Why did you not start with CM 14.1 sources? I am not a dev; sorry if this question is stupid.
Will your work support x526 (SD652/3GB/32GB)?
Thanks again. :good:

We suggest using OpenGapps, but if your device maintainer mentions otherwise, please go with that suggestion. Open Gapps Project
WARNING: If you dirty flash BlissRoms you must install the same Gapps you flashed, or a newer version, BEFORE rebooting. Rebooting will corrupt the system into an unrecoverable state. For best results, use Opengapps, use the SAME variant download and make sure to flash the same date/newer version.
For example, if you flashed Opengapps micro 20190307, then after flashing a new BlissRoms zip you must flash the same micro 20190307 zip again, OR a micro variant with a date that is newer than 20190307 (e.g. 20190506).

Bliss was my favourite ROM when I had my N5, I hope it's going to be as good for the N5X !

Has anyone already installed this firmware? It's just that NFC does not work for me, I wanted to find out if this is a common bug or just my.

First I can't give it until official DU release.
Secondly it's not the right place to speak about DU here it's not fair for the dev. I was simply implying that it was not "Never".

VoLTE isn't limited to the ROM; your carrier also has to support the VoLTE standard used in your device. If there is a mismatch, or your carrier uses a different protocol, then VoLTE will break. We've included the minimum required for VoLTE to function, but we cannot guarantee it will work in all regions under all conditions.
Should you feel your carrier definitely supports the VoLTE standard used on your 5X, please file a bug report with a logcat included. Thank you!
How is batterylife? I had the pixelexperience rom (batterylife was not great)
After that i installed the AOSCP rom. With good batterylife.

Has anyone tried this ROM? Is it good as a daily driver? Does root work?

Thank you for the reply...
I'll try if it is working or not, if not I'll just report a bug and will send logcat?

Nope, it's permissive. You can check in terminal: su -c getenforce
works very well so far, didn't notice any problems myself
