[Q] Tweaking Low battery shutdown - Sony Xperia L

I'm using the latest clean'n'tweaked firmware with Thunderzap 3 kernel.
Today I noticed my phone automatically initiated shutdown due to low battery, at 4% charge. How do I change that setting ? Say, I want to shut down only at 2% ?
Can it be done with a simple edit, or do I have to rebuild the kernel ?

[Q] Low battery policy

Hi!
I installed samdroid kitchen mod, and I noticed, that the phone turns off, when battery level turns yellow (i'm not sure about percentage, but I think it's more than 5%), however, with stock 2.1-update1, battery could drop down to empty-red-crossed (about 2%?), and phone would still be turned on, and it still had about 15minutes of listening to music life.
With samdroid, phone turns off safely, when with stock it dies. I know it is safer the samdroid way, but I would really like to use my phone for few extra minutes...
Is there any way to change these values, when does phone display "low battery warning" and when does it turn off?
You should download a battery widget. The values given by the icon on top aren't accurate.
I use samdroidmod, but don't experience the same problems..
You can try flashing another kernel with a different battery driver, like qbanin's kernel.
Download coolS from market it will slow down CPU to half speed if not need performance and resumes it if needed, it lifes up your battery.
if not intall from recovery LK2.10.beta1, then convert your file systems from rfs to (EXT2 for system and cache then EXT4 for Data), reboot and apply samdroid turbo you'll have a circular battery with 1% and boost up performance.
test it, it's great.

HTC touch Pro xdandroid drain battery

I am using this 2.2.1 builds with FRX04 but the battery after 5 hours (with 15 min of wifi ,10sms and 1 call) goes to zero, phone reboot and windows mobile dont start because it says battery too low.
The only think i change is this "acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=650000"
theres somethink i can do?
Get a bigger battery.
Means that is normal 4-5 hours of standby?
Keep in mind, if you add OC (overclock) to your startup, it will generally use more battery. Have you tried it as stock/without OC? I don't even use OC because it often produces undesired results, for me anyway.
i try xdadroid with out OC, battery life has increase, but not too much...any other tips ?for example : how can i disactivate led flashing when device is on standby?
You need to download led effects. If you are using the packaged bundle from THIS post it is included in a sub-folder under the folder called AndroidApps. Keeping in mind, if you disable this, you won't be able to tell if your phone is going to sleep. Also be sure to test out the Gingerbread test build from THIS post.
n-Joie! (Enjoy)

Fast battery drain

When it is I'm deep sleep it only loses 1-2% every 9 hours, but once I turn on the phone it went from 75% 50% in 45 minutes only... Losing nearly 2-3% every few minutes, so I used battery stats to see what is doing the partial wake and there is something called RILJ(dialer), which is 15% partial wake, I was wondering if this is the dialer stock system app. I'm using c2 Viper ville, I never had any battery problems until I played around with Venom tweak which was not working at the time, and did not know about it, however I did reset the tweak I think. I turned off sync, and everything. Anyone know how to fix this huge battery drain, it just went from 45% to 35% in 5 minutes....

I've had the same problem with the One S S4. Here's what you can do:
-You can download a wakelock blocker or use App Opps to fix this issue. Just block the app from waking your device. Now, you said that it may be your stock phone apk, so you should probably test incoming calls after you've done this.
-Keep your screen brightness as low as possible; turn auto brightness off.
-Install a custom ROM.
I recommend installing a custom ROM if you haven't already. Non-sense ROMs have worked the best for me because all sense ROMs have given me huge battery problems.
I hope I helped!

HTC One E9+ shutdown automatically.

Dears,
i have HTC one E9+ and purchased 6-7 before from online and did not notice that device does not have warranty.
Now its started shutting down and when restart then battery goes to 1% or some time decreased 30-40% of the battery and its happen only when i start using the devise like youtube, skype or whatsapp etc but while on idle status dont face any issue.
I even did the factory reset but no improvement and then i thought could be a battery issue and then contacted HTC and they said perform below tasks and if battery above than 75% then not a battery issue.
Now i dont know what should i do to resolve this issue.
can anyone put his/her experience to fix this issue.
1 - charge the device until the LED turns green <br/>2 - turn on air plan mode
3- Go to settings > display > increase the screen time out to one hour and increase the brightness to 100%
4-then restart the device
5- Unplug it and leave it for one hour
if the battery level below 75% that is mean the battery need to be changed

Try re-flashing your stock ROM. After that do a full discharge.
Cheers

Idle Battery Drain - Stock Kernel (Fixed) Required

Hi, I have E6653 on Build 32.4.A.1.54 7.1.1 Nougat...
I was not able to find any root method for this as in device status it says bootlocker unlock is not allowed.. anyway, I suspect phone while in idle is draining some batter and while it's on too. So is there any kernel for the same stock version which could fix that issue?? I heard the default kernel have battery drain issues as phone idle is taking 23% of battery or so etc while screen 24% and cell standby 11%....
Is this normal then 10% battery drops after 2 hours without using phone ?
I will be thankful. Regards
No, check your installed apps for battery consumption.
Check synchronize time of email accounts etc, make this less synchronize.
Calibrate your battery, give it 2- 3 days to settle again.

Disable Bluetooth when not nessary.
Disable adjustible brightness of screen in settings.
Use greenify or Kaspersky battery saver.
