I am getting extremely slow Wifi speed on the latest Verizon stock 4.3 ROM.
Now i remember correctly in AOSP rom, there was an option to disable power saving mode in the wifi menu. But I dont see that option in the stock rom. I suspect that is throttling my wifi speed.
Also tried to access hidden menus and all the codes do not work anymore.
Anyone knows anything to fix the Wifi speed??

my carrier has some pretty crappy 3G(speeds are close to 2G, often losing 3G connection as well)
so i thought i could save some battery by disabling 3G using the nice "2G only" option.
unfortunately due to a few forced-reboots (and a manual proper shutdown/boot cycle for testing) i found out this setting doesn't stay after a reboot.
and i find it quite annoying having to dig deep into the settings everytime my phone (re)boots.
so, is there a way to change this behaviour? preferably without completely removing 3G capabilities.

Ive been having major issues with my wifi on a stock non rooted JB stock firmware Relay.
Wifi was working fine for the longest time. Recently my wpa2 home network wont connect. I keep seeing "wifi authentication error" every time I try to connect. I did a cache wipe, and when I do, it works for a day or so and then goes back to the same issue
Now Im having problems getting any data from wifi, wether its an open network or WPA. It just shows that its connected, the little arrows on the signal meter light up but no data actually gets transferred.
I did a battery pull and it seemed to fix it temporarily, but seems like the issue comes back
Any help??
This is driving me insane... running RUU 3.33.401.6 and my data connection keeps 'stalling'. I still see the 3G or H symbol on the display, but can't send/receive data unless I enable/disable airplane mode. After doing this, everything will be fine for a random amount of time, then it will stall again and I'll have to repeat the process. This must be a pretty widespread issue, because I even found an app (3G Reconnect) designed to workaround the issue by automating the enabling/disabling of airplane mode!
I use my Sensation tethered for Internet access from home as well as when I'm on the move and I'm a pretty heavy data user, so this is extremely frustrating. I'm not sure whether it's a Sensation-specific issue or an Android issue.
I've tried Bluetooth tethering and WiFi tethering and get the same issue with both methods. Not sure if it's related to tethering, or whether that is coincidental at this point.
Can anyone shed any light?
I'm trying to figure out how I can effetively use GravityBox's smart radio function. Which network mode would give me '2g' data? Right now the only option what works is "CDMA/EvDo Auto" with this selected I get 3G and it won't even switch over to LTE when I power on the screen.
Any other option cuts out my signal or only gives me voice. How do I get that '1x' data (aka 2g)? I would still like some data when the screen is off, I just don't need LTE or 3G.
Edit: I am using a recent CM11 nightly. Now that I think about it I seem to remember something about Smart Radio not working right with CM. Can anyone confirm? Is there a way to get around this?
So I'm trying to use my Hotspot on this phone and my download speed is like kbs speeds doesn't even want to give 1mbs speed. The upload speed is fine but the download speed is not working. I have a couple of gbs available through my provider so that's not an issue. I tried changing my apn settings but still no luck. Does anyone else have that problem or a resolution. Thanks in advance for your help
I've included a screenshot of the speeds I'm getting on my tablet when I try to use the Hotspot
