Version is 3.9.17, this is a minor bugfix update, but its still not rolling out officically.

play store versions are pretty much universal... i pushed the leaked version to both my Gnex running 4.1.2 and Eris running 2.3.6, working fine on both devices.

I analyzed it yesterday and found no changes outside of the XXHDPI icons, which account for the 120K bump in size compared to 3.9.16. There was some change to widget and recommendation code, but I can't pinpoint the exact differences. Visually, the widgets seemed the same.

Why dnt you try it on your phone? Your xL is on .36 fw right? Just try mate... and let us know... make cwm backup before start. Just incase...

I would love to see some freed up ram and a debloated ROM.
I know that from my old phone where one needed to really pay attention at those bloatwares (in my eyes, e.g. facebook inside xperia, social engine, trackID, play now) was offered as addons.
Very cool would be if we could manually set the lights of notification bar, independent from theme and app2sd would also be a nice feature.
And yes, transparent nav-/ statusbar in launcher would be cool, like in Xperia Z.

Trying to wait for the official release seeing as people here and there complain about a few small bugs, so hoping they might get sorted out.
We have to wait a few more weeks until GE Rom and Binaries are released.
Otherwise Custom Roms won't work very well.

I think we in S.A had only one firmware update since the devices release on 4.2.2 and that was two months ago (please correct me if im wrong, as I dont use O.T.A) And it has been officially released not just in our country yet! Point is I can't wait that long
Guys, I just got the OTA here in Brazil for Samsung's 4.3 firmware, but with KitKat being released to S4 G in a few weeks I can't think in waiting til Samsung port it's own touchwiz version of 4.4 KK, the doubt is:
Should I update mine S4 4G to 4.3 or it'll bring me problems in order to later port it to Google Edition ROM?
I don't have a clue what that all means but it gave me an e-boner...
