are these wireless inserts the same? - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

I picked up a nokia wireless charger, so now i need one of these inserts or back case.
I'm using my neohybrid case and i love it.
Ive read a lot of good things about "fone sales man ". Seems once you remove the sticker your golden and newer ones have that already done.
This is his for roughly $20.
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Char...387541641&sr=8-18&keywords=wireless+s4+charge
But is this "smart tech" one a reseller of the same thing for $10
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Char...87541733&sr=8-31&keywords=wireless+s4+charger
They look roughly the same but one is half the cost. I wonder if they are exactly the same. Does Amazon warranty this stuff?

I use a Qi receiver/NFC antenna combo like this one, so I can use non-NFC extended battery while retaining NFC functionality. Same thickness. Got it from aliexpress and it took a few weeks (some Amazon seller are overseas too, so keep that in mind).

I've got one of the Hyperion batteries. They sell them as a standalone product without the charger. The battery is about what you would expect for the $10 cost. As I expected, it doesn't last quite as long as the included battery, but it makes a good backup battery for when you need a little extra juice. The amazon reviews say that the charger is low quality, so i bought the RND dock off amazon to go with it. I'm new here so I can't post the link yet, sorry.
Thanks that's really helpful. If I may ask what kind of case or screen protector do you like?

According to reviews they get about 3 hours more...they're rated at 2250 mAh. Should be getting them Wednesday so I'll update when they arrive.
I always recommend getting 2 batteries and an external battery charger. I am never without a battery and just have to remember to pop a dead battery in the charger when I get home from work.
Honestly... The best battery for the skyrocket are the factory ones. Not bulging back and the mah is accurate. They are pricey @$35 a pop, but they are the best we can get.

I've got the otterbox commuter series. It's a nice case for what I need it for. Only thing is I have to take it off to use the dock or change batteries. Also best buy included an invisible shield protector on my phone (some BS policy they have). I never would have bought it on my own but it's a decent screen protector if you can get it installed right.

I was looking at either the commuter or, there is a seido active armor case. I got a decent .20 cent case to hold me over till I buy a pricey one.
I've heard problems regarding otterbox cases and the screen protector regarding dirt to be able to get under the protector. And the screen being scuffed if you ever cleaned it. Have you noticed anything like that?

Two batteries from Samsung? Do they sell a two pack with a charger? The reason l looked at the Hyperion was because of its charger. (Digging through the reveiws about charger problems people appear to be breaking off pins)
I like the idea of Samsung batteries since they would have nfc.

I have the commuter series case. It doesn't include a screen protector. But from the reviews I've seen of the defender, the speaker and camera holes are unprotected which allows dirt to get under it.

Well, I received these batteries several days early...was scheduled for this coming Wednesday and instead they arrived this past Saturday. Fully charged a battery, and today is my first day using them, but I can say that the percentage is certainly not dropping as quickly as the stock battery. It's actually noticeable.
The battery fits well without a replacement cover, but of course doesn't include NFC capability...
I'm getting an extra 2-3 hours off of those batteries. Definitely worth $30 for 2 batteries and an external charger...

The Hyperions suck a$$... I like many others on amazon have been left with chargers that do not work out of the box, not to mention the batteries themselves, from personal experience don't last nearly as long as the OEMs.

Black Battery Cover Frame

does anybody know where i can buy a cheap black metal frame or a whole battery cover? I prefer non-ebay answers.

froogle.com is your friend.
why are you against ebay?
i don't remember where i got my cover from. i think it was an ebay listing a "used" but like new item. believe it came out to around $12 shipped. indeed it's without a scratch or smudge and completely like new.
there's sellers on amazon as well. prices vary from the upper 10s to lower 20s.
here's one i found from froogle: http://www.amazon.com/SENSATION-BATTERY-COVER-HOUSING-FACEPLATE/dp/B0056JFPF0
new cover for $22.34 shipped
http://www.bonanza.com/listings/OEM...or-T-Mobile-Battery-BG58100-1520-mAh/82298163
obviously you can never be certain if it'll have scratches or smudges. that one comes with an oem 1520mah battery too for 22 shipped
http://www.ultasyo.com/products/57719/
or if you want a fatty so you can shove two batteries (or an extended), there's http://www.ebay.com/itm/Extended-Ba...3600mAh-Battery-only-/160814158882#vi-content
i just got one although not from that listing. there are two versions, with the original missing one of the contacts. the picture seems to show that it's the updated version but ymmv. it's not that great of a case, but I like it enough to be using it fulltime now. Don't have a case for it and don't really care too much. Having two batteries means actually respectable battery life and that's cool with me.
froogle search and find what you think suits you best.
http://www.all4cellular.com/product/htc-sensation-4g-battery-door-brown-gray-black.html
16.25 +2 shipping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-OEM-HTC-S...e-Button-Sensation4G-/320883252259#vi-content
i think that's the one i got. it's listed as 1 or 2 or no scratches. luckily mine had none. the seller is called batterydoor if that gives you an idea of what he sells

Wireless charger?

Does anyone know of or can recommend a nice wireless charging station for the S5? I'm glad the phone is dust/water proof, but messing with that micro USB cover my get old after a while. Plus, it could break off. I haven't used wireless charging since my Palm Pre days so I have no idea what's out.

I've got 2 of them that I use on my Note 3 with wireless charging cover (1 at home, 1 at work) - they're both great.
I bought one off Amazon for ~$40 and another for ~$25 on some daily deal site. Well worth the investment to not have to futz around with cables.
Only thing I see so far is that Samsung isn't offering the wireless charging back for the S5 yet; with the Note 3, it took them a month or two after launch to put them online for purchase and even then, they were backordered.

I've got a close friend who works at the samsung experience shop within the local best buy and he had training last week on the s5 and its accessories. He said they are expecting the charging back in store within a week of launch. Good news is the first one that come in has my name on it so hopefully I dont have to contend with too much.
If you get a wireless charging back does it make the phone too thick for traditional 3rd party cases. What I want to do is get a wireless charging back plate and then put a case around the whole phone. Is that possible?

I had an S4 (and Note3) with wireless charging back covers and cases on both...SOME cases work.
For the S4, I was able to use Cruzerlite TPU cases with no problem. Any of the hard cases didn't work for me (Spigen) and I even tried the multi-piece cases (TPU + hard bumper) but the only ones that worked were Cruzerlite TPU.
In fact, I'm so sure that the S5 will work with Cruzerlite and a wireless charging back cover, I already bought a new case.

It's samsung's way of making more money, i prefer a receiver insert, it's thinner and i've been using them with all my phones.
I will be picking a few up in the next few days in china, need to check what the quality is like.

Really??? I got one for my S4 and it was awful - so thick that the case bulged out in the middle of the back...so much that the phone didn't lay flat on the table anymore.
Even though the Samsung battery cover is a little thicker overall, at least it's symmetrical and doesn't look home-made.

OEM Qi Cover for Edge?

So as I have learned my Edge and the Note 4 share nothing but some specs, the back battery covers are different as are the batteries.
Does anyone know if there is a legitimate Samsung Qi battery cover for the edge out yet?
I can find this one for the Note 4 on their website (EP-CN910IBUSTA): http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EP-CN910IBUSTA
But nothing for the Edge. Ebay is littered with them, but I don't trust is if the samsung site doesn't have any.
Or am I being overly cautious and should trust this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121475910841?lpid=82
Thanks!

Some of them on ebay are from Samsung . The reason is those are from Samsung Korea, which launched the device 2 months ago, so they have the cover available already
Samsung Korea site has them Those are what being sold on eBay. But for $37+$19 shipping is too steep. I'm sure Samsung US will start selling them pretty soon.

So I ordered the back plus pad on ebay and paid the $20 for shipping. Came in less then a week and after a full day I'm thrilled.
I picked up a qi mini from Best buy for $29 so I can have one at work and one at home.
It works great, and from all I can tell it feels OEM. Not only does the function rock, but it feels much more substantial. After having a HTC M7 and M8, this device felt really cheap. The new back cover greatly improves the form factor.
The back is slightly thicker, it's completely flush with the camera.
Highly recommended!!

Probably won't fit your car no matter what case it is. It makes it thicker. Its a hair thicker than being flush with the camera.
I know with my note 3, the only case I could use that fit like it was supposed to was a bumper case.

Anyone know where I can buy a case for batteries? (a case for a battery NOT phone)

Ok so I been searching amazon and ebay for a CASE for an extra battery but I can't find one. The only one I found was from the official Samsung Extra Battery Kit which cost about $50 and I think it's already too late to get my 50% off accessory code (bought it at launch)....but I wouldn't really want to spend $25 on ONE battery and a case when I already have 2 Anker spare batteries.
Does anyone know where I can find something hard/plastic that can hold my spare Note 4 batteries?
(Picture below)
I was originally using these cases when carrying the batteries in my back pocket but the extra bulk was uncomfortable, so now I am carrying them without the case, no problem. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for these.
Go to Amazon, pick out an eyeglass case, many different colors, materials, belt clips, rugged etc...

It's easier to find one for an S4 because it's square, I found a q-tip traveling case that was perfect for my S4 batteries haha. Sucks our note 4 has skinny and long batteries
