[Q] root inspire - HTC Inspire 4G

I just got an HTC Inspire that I would like to flash with Revolutionary ROM. I've done this before with the ace hack kit and I even still have it on my computer. But now every time I run it I get the error saying "Radio Downgrade failed"
What is the current method to root the HTC Inspire?
I have already unlocked the bootloader at HTC and this is what I currently have::
ACE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-0.85.0024
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.10.04.03_M
eMMC-boot

2.3.3 Gingerbread

You need to have the bootloader locked to use the Hack Kit. Relock it and try again.

Man! I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure that out. Thanx, I got it now. It's working.

I've had my Inspire for some time now and I would recommend JellyTime 4.2 R11 or the new taktiK. Never tried Revolutionary but real happy with JellyTime. Just a thought.

[Q] How to go back to T-Mobile Stock Rom?

Hi,
some weeks ago I had a great idea to flash my T-Mobile Branded Desire S to a HTC Stock one and finally get Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0.
While having a hard time to learn how to S-Off the device, Flash a RUU. Lock my bootloader again ... make a Goldcard and so on. I finally managed to finish it.
But now I've got to go back to my T-Mobile Rom for warranty. I noticed a dead Pixel, some issues with my battery case which makes random noise if I grab my phone and some other stuff.
My Phone:
***LOCKED***
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT - 2.00.0002
RADIO - 3822.10.08.04_M
eMMC-boot
I want it to be like this :
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT - 0.98.0002
RADIO - 3805.06.02.03_M
eMMC-boot
As I am a big idiot, I deleted my backup, because I thought i would never need it again ...
So - is there a way for me to flash it back and give it to T-Mobile OR to leave it like this and send it to HTC for warranty?
... OR am I doomed to live with a phone like that?
You'll need to most likely downgrade your version, v1.28.401 I think is the oldest. Then you can install an RUU of a t mobile RUU.

Inspire 4g Bricked on black screen with red triangle

Hi, while rooting using Ace hack kit my phone did not get to boot.
It can't be detected by the software and is stuck on the black screen with the red triangle over the phone.
HTC Inspire 4g.
Here is the displayed data:
ACE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-0.85.0024
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.03.02.26_M
eMCC-boot

Could this issue be resolved?
I already tried running the Ace Hack software with Ubuntu, but still the phone can't be detected.
Any idea to fix this?
Thanks...
Can you get to the boot loader

If you mean when I press volume down and power button and you can go to the phone's factory menu (fastboot, hard reset, recovery etc.),
Yes
Do you have the original PD98IMG.zip?
Put it back to your SD card and reboot. Do the update. This should help...

We're there any error messages in the AAHK output? What version of Android were you on when you rooted and did you downgrade?

that is stock recovery....you probably missed the instructions on screen to press volume up....paste the Hack Kit outcome here.
Got it. Flashed the original ROM from recovery. Thanks...

Help please!!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I really need help. This is the first time I've tried to S-OFF and root my phone so I'm kind of a noob.
Yesterday I unlocked my HTC Sensation using HTCDev.com
Everything went great I unlocked it and the phone was fine, So today I tried to S-OFF my phone and root it using JuopunutBear method and when I got to the wire trick part I tried SEVERAL times but every time it fails and it says
[s-off failed
errorcode: 66732337
errormsg: Still sober]
And now every time I open my phone it goes to JuopunutBear screen and it stays on it till... EVER!
And when I go to the Bootloader screen and try to factory reset my phone it goes to the HTC screen for 3 seconds or so and it goes back to the bootloader screen.
The Bootloader screen says:
****UNLOCKED****
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.27.0000
RADIO-11.24A.3504.31_M
OPENADSP-V05.6.0.2226.00.0418

I know I'm rambling but any help would be appreciated

How to make my device simply S-off

Hello,
I want to get S-off because it's easier to switch different roms.
What is the easiest way to get S-off
I have now :
*** UNLOCKED ***
SAGA PVT ship S-on RL
HBOOT-2.02.0002
Radio-3831.19.00.110
eMMC-boot

Search the forums, there are guides and tons of questions already asked on this topic.

Check my signature for the method I used, which does not involve htcdev unlocking and hence your phone remains "locked" and will never be "relocked". Please note that if you upgraded to Stock ICS by RUU, the only way is htcdev unlock.
I also made a post here, linking/attaching everything you might want/need.
It´s not difficult. If you need help contact me at skype : xxkaijayxx-m-etz
