(REQ) Galaxy S Port to CDMA Hero

Hey Forums,
Im pretty new and i just recently visited the sprint store and checked out the new Samsung Epic 4g. Its pretty amazing and the UI Is amazing.
My question being is there anyway or anyone who could port a Samsung Galaxy S or the Epic .. or really any of the Samsung Phones ROM over to the CDMA Hero? If so it would be greatly appreciated.

If all you want is the launcher UI then a simple search will give you Touchwiz.
This is in no way uniform or a theme, but it is the Touchwiz User Interface Launcher, and as such should give you at least a taste of your Galaxy S craving.
There's also a few slight S based themes here and there. But I doubt you will see a Samsung rom ported to our phones, unless someone that truly likes it, much like yourself, decides to make it happen.

I made my own sort of Galaxy S theme. There are as smoothtaste said there are a few themes floating around here. I downloaded them all and made one from them using jaybob's BlackMod as a base. I would share but I did not include the boot animation, or the Galaxy S status bar. Below is a link to a Galaxy S launcher Pro theme, a good one too!

The status bar Icons were Galaxy S but I changed them...

This is the theme that got me hooked on Galaxy S look. I had trouble flashing the rom/theme though, it would never let me do the google set up from a clean install Thats why I set out to create my own. I merged parts of all there Galaxy S themes out there, then made my own status bar Yours I used the dark blue and puzzle pieces Thanks

I dislike the ones in the market they look corny.

[Q] Best ROM for Galaxy S3 SGH-i747

I, like many other Android users love how much rooting your phone opens up the customization by flashing ROMs and such.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 SGH-i747 with Bell but it is the same as the American AT&T SGH-i747.
So what I am wondering is if anyone knows the best ROMs that features these:
-Great battery life!! ***** this is a big one!!!
-Running Jellybean 4.1 or 4.2
-Running the AOKP/CM theme engine*
I am running JELLYBEAN 747 ver1 and the battery life is alright, I can't have my brightness above 10% and data/wifi on without it dropping 10 percent every half an hour. while playing some games, the percentage drops about a percent a minute. It is a fairly good ROM otherwise but I would really like the theme engine that I used to be running on my original Galaxy S i9000.

Making my own custom ROM called AOSPwiz!!

It will be an AOSP rom inspired by Touchwiz. So basically Cyanogenmod AOSP+A lot of Touchwiz's features. Starting the rom development tomorrow.
Features:
-Stock Cyanogenmod AOSP look and feel (Theme Compatable)
-Touchwiz Features like Air gesture, S pen festures, Smart stay, etc.
-AOKP settings and maybe paranoid android settings, MAYBE...
-Pie
-Halo
-I am still thinking of which kernel to use
-Will most likely be released with 4.4 kitkat
-Some unique features i added
-More to come!
Oh and, i need help to which kernel I should use.

What phone is this for? as there is 'JellyBam' for S3 that sounds similar to your project.

Nexus and Samsung Galaxy devices, Oh and i checked out the rom, kinda like that one but not quite. Mine includes Touchwiz features and Touchwiz launcher.

Since this is running on CM i will do the AOSP features first.

Is it going to be available for all Galaxy Devices? That's a lot of work BTW for galaxy s you should use Semaphore Kernel

I agree entirely. I would love to have MIUI on my galaxy S8. The theme is nice in the theme store but I want the full one. With the green battery icon and the dots for signal notifier. I want it very badly.

Can't wait for that to happen. I love the features in MIUI 8. I bet it would look gorgeous on the S8.

You need AOSP first. Until Jesse decided to take a look at the s8 plus. We are out of luck. My s7 edge enjoyed many roms.
