What do you mean with navigation is a little bit difficult, what would you change?
It's fine actually. I was just a little unfamiliar with the menus because of being so used to Solar Explorer and its on screen menus. Now that I have played with it a bit more... the way your app is laid out... it allows for more screen real estate for phones. The images look better that way. As far as content, your app is way more thorough than most.

Ah ok.
But the UI is one thing I will change in the future for sure because using Androids standard menus is easier to implement but also brings some disadvantages.
Have you seen the "Quick controls" which you can enable for the standard browser ("Labs" section) and which can be displayed when sliding the thumb from the left or right edge? That's the way I'm going to implement my "next generation" UI .
Great app, I have many astro apps but yours is really fantastic!

GMDYO -> GO Make Dis Your Own Launcher (Free) 1.2
This is an alternative launcher as compared to the various launchers on the market. Given the capabilities of the Android system, we felt that more should have been done to improve the user experience. Thus we are doing this differently compared to current launchers available on the market right now. However, in order to ensure that we are able to cater to all of the needs of the users, we are releasing it as we develop it along the way.
Please do let us know what are the things that
- we are doing right
- what needs to be corrected or improved
- what features you want to see in the future releases
- overall are we heading in the right direction
NOTE :
This app is a work in progress and there might be bugs present. Currently, you can get out of the launcher just by pressing the "BACK" key on your mobile. This is done on purpose as we feel that its still too early for it to be a user's daily work horse and more suited to be a showcase instead.
More features are in the pipeline so do expect updates
If you do notice, we do have another version of GMDYO which is paid. However, please do note that there is NO DIFFERENCE between the PAID and FREE version. The reason we came out with two versions is because we feel that not all might want to get the paid version upfront to support the development and we did not like the idea of putting ads in the app and ruin the whole experience and thus, we decided to do it this way. If you can and feel that the app is worth your time, please do help by either getting the paid version or the free version. Do feedback to us anything that you feel that can be improved.
As I'm are currently under 10 posts, I'm unable to post the link to the app. However, a search in Play Store with "gmdyo" should be able to find the app. Will try and hit the target to 10 posts asap. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Thanks for your time!
Sounds interesting, hope you do a good job with it.

suggestions (maybe)
thx for this innovative new style of a launcher!
i have some ideas that would be cool for that kind of concept:
do you know lightning launcher and its way of not using a grid but some infinite desktop space?
if not, take a look at it, it's free in the market.
now think, wouldn't that be a cool addition to the concept of gmdyo?
the creation of much more intense "cities" would be possible and that would enrichen the experience quite a lot.
another idea would be making gmdyo a 3d thing, but honestly, i have no idea how to navigate that thing if it would be 3d...
anyway, thx for bringing up something innovative and new!

Did tried out Lightning Launcher. Think its a great concept with the infinite space! We are planning to integrate more features into GMDYO, 3D is definitely in the brainstorming stage but as we are concurrently doing development for other projects, so progress might be abit slow. Do look out for our other apps as we launch them!
Once again, thanks for your feedback and have a nice day!

Hello, _Pablo_
Thank you for your feedback. GPS is only used in Atrium for Facebook when you perform a checkin. In case you see gps icon blinking in the status bar and Checkin screen is not opened, it means gps is used by a different app. Please send me a private message and we will look into it
Just downloaded, will be keeping my eye on the progress of this app. Far better than the official app. Keep it up dev.

Thanks for your answer,
I checked it again, and it's strange...
I cleared data and cache for atrium, put icon on my home screen and...
first run, gps icon started to blink immediately after run Atrium, next I connected with facebook (icon still blinking)...
I touched "back" button to go to my home screen and gps icon immediately stopped blinking.
again started Atrium from notification and no gps icon active.
I tried few times and sometimes running Atrium turns gps on, sometimes not.

I've checked this issue and it looks like it is your system specific... at least I was unable to recreate such app behavior on all my test devices I would recommend using approach suggested by LordManhattan, or trying LBE Privacy Guard software that can limit access to GPS service for all your apps you don't need GPS for (this solution requires rooted device).

try the BETA version seems to work well
How do I delete some cities ?
Is it possible to Create widget 4X1 thanks
I'll give it a try. I'm still looking for the perfect weather app.
My only deal breaker when it comes to weather apps: Clocks. I hate clock widgets. I hate weather widgets that have clocks on them. I can't understand why they are so prevalent. It's torture.
Looks, nice however got a nice bootloop when trying to pen it on the n7 2013 running L. Is it only good up to kk?
Option to delete a city appears when you long-press a city
Question about addition of a city in the database:
I wanted to add the city "l'Hospitalet de l'Infant" in Spain, and added the request on the website. But I had some difficulties to understand how to find its geoname-id (even I read the forum). I finally found it, and added it, but maybe you could add in your forum a simple way to get it, for people like who don't know
Else all is ok, widget and wallpaper. It's very nice.

YoWindow is not supporting L, unfortunately so far.
That's because of a piece of C++ code that crashes by an unknown reason.
We don't have a device to test L on.
So that's kind of a problem.
I hope to take care about it after the release rush is over.
Thanks for reporting anyway

Can I suggest you something: on the widget, there is no option to update its parameters directly. Could we imagine to have a "parameter" icon on the widget?

Was keen to try this, seems a good idea, especially for sites like XDA.
I installed it but when I try to open the app it just opens to a full white screen, can't see anything to help with settings, doesn't FC and I have to hit home button and close recents.
Uninstalled.
Running JB 4.2.1, rooted, xposed and lots of mods. I'll look back here to see what other feedback comes. Hopefully something will turn up that helps with the issue. I wonder if it's just some weird theming issue. I do run MonsterUI Xposed module.
The background loading with a bubble already existed on another browser but yours seems better and you bring many nice features
Works perfectly on SlimSaber
Works fine here , N5 LP5.1

yeah, so basically it what used to be link bubble but it was poorly done but the idea was very appealing. obviously this time it's better and I do appreciate what the dev is doing but if its possible, few suggestions, - transition opening and closing (keep on the screen) would be nice if it was more fluid. like face book chat head, - so very fluid, icons with sites images do look a little cheap, the image can be more crisp and the last one, - don't know if it's possible to download files right from the Flynx. for now I've tried few downloads from few different links, from sites, - all unsuccessful.within 4 seconds... but I'm keeping it! thanx a lot.
I really hope that this browser can open more than 4 bubbles, also can be closed when pressing the back button..

Hello everyone from the Flynx dev team. I want to thank you for this great app :good: I have been a long-time user of Javelin web browser and its bubble features (similar to yours), but after using your browser for some days I have quite quickly uninstalled Javelin as your browser is far more stable and offers exactly what I want. Especially when using apps like Facebook where you usually come across several links which have to be opened in an external browser and you do not want to exit your current app.
OMG! This is the exactly browser what i looking for. Keep going dude.
Thanks
I wish to see a button to open a new blank page and an address bar to paste and go...
Some apps have an "internal browser" and it's difficult (impossible) to redirect to Flynx. Manual opening a page is a "solution" for that...
Can't wait to open now than just 4 bubbles. Thanks for this browser.
Some ads that pop up on normal browser still appear in some website..
Got some problems with apk downloads .. installation ultimately fails when I triggered the download via flynx.
Thanks for the app man, works fantastic with app like Feedly!
Thanks for the app. I invited 3 friends and now I have unlimited tabs.

Hi amazing app I've unlocked unlimited apps and moved to this from link bubble as this app loads so much faster and opens in read mode for most and saving time from having to manually switch! 2 things I'd love to see in the future is when I share links to stay open instead of the bubble closing to its spot again! And also possibly being able to double tap to share to like pocket app! Other then amazing looking forward to future updates
So beautiful! but..
Um... needs more options. 'Always go in trash by throwing bubble' option please. I don't want to stick this bubble the other screen side. And 'open bubble on bottom side' option please.
I like this app. Developer, Thanks!
