[Feature Request] Long press volume keys to skip track when screen is off. - Omni Features Development

Hey,
As an avid music listener without a headset that has physical keys, I feel like this is a must have feature for any ROM. I was wondering if this would be implemented?
I checked out the feature request spreadsheet, and it apparently says it's implemented but I don't see that option in the settings.
Thanks!

This is also currently available using the Xposed Framework module "Wanam Kit" under the sound options. Working on my Galaxy Note 2.

Bumping this because of Lollipop.
Will we this feature be implemented again for 5.1?
Thanks.

Hi
Do u mean the ROM with the most baked in Mods? If so just look at OP of the ROMs in our section.
Because almost all ROMs can be customized with added mods or apps depending on how knowledgeable you are with that sort of stuff.
Maybe clarify what u mean and we can go from there.

+1 for AOKP. It's the most customisable as far as I know. It has the most options.
Codename Android.

See, I read through most of them. And I don't really want to flash 6 ROMs to find which one I like most. I'm gonna check out aokp though,

[REQUEST] XDA Holo

I'm surprised no one has thought about this till now (I apologize if you have), but what about an updated XDA app? We're already at 4.2 Jelly Bean, possibly entering Key Lime Pie (or 4.3), but still, the XDA is not Holo yet!
I NEVER use an app unless it's Holo themed, but in this case I don't have a choice Does anyone know how to do this until (and if) XDA decides to update?
I have to agree. And on a side note, I think it's pretty sad how outdated the xda app is. This is xda for crying out loud.
The search function in the xda app is absolute crap. I don't care what anybody says. On the website I can find what I'm looking for so easy. But on the xda app it doesn't search correctly.
This app is long overdue for an overhaul or at least UI update.

I also HATE using any app that is not even just a bit holo themed.

Of all the boot animations, sound schemes and visual themes I've tried on my various devices, this is easily my favourite!
I love it, but the part that would make it better is that "whoomph" sound so when you pull the pen out it sounds more saberish.

Cool sound!
For those who do not what to deal with file permissions like me.
One can use play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.spentoolbox
Small app without extra permissions.(I do not want to give any app unnecesary permissions)
Do you have the sabre sounds using the toolbox? And what format are the sounds? Thanks

I would suggest this first try : Go to application menu, look at your app and then "empty the cache" of your app.
But sometime apps are not developed to work on higher version of android.
Thanks I will try and will let u know about the outcome.

This is built using Aroma installer.
Easily switch between 3.1.1.0 elsa for stock based roms.
Easily switch to 3.0.2-1 to flash AOSP roms.

Flash recovery inside your recovery in case you need to downgrade from 3.1.1.0 to run AOSP. Or to upgrade to 3.1.1.0 for more features.

Thanks @rootlinux it is fully functional on my ls997. I just need an AOSP ROM to test it on. I'm thinking OneDon's might be a good start.
