"with all features from PMEM versions"
I understand that it will not work "a better camera" and "HDR Camera" from Almalence. Both do not work on DCT 4.2.2 r9.

Hello!
I mean, I merged all custom features which I added to the stock kernel over the time. So, basically, all custom features from Phenom Kernel v6.3.2 were merged.
I edited the changelog, thanks for reporting!
And this kernel is only for ION ROM's so for ADC Team's CM10.1 RC1 not the PMEM RC9

OK, I know it. It scares me reinstalling dozens of applications to version ion and the fact that some may also not work. After all, congratulations to continued progress in improving our ariesve.

Great work educk Thank you

first additional information
Hi guys,
just want to inform you that i have tested antutu benchmark with this kernel - though i'm not a fan of it , but i have read about problems with it in the K^Kernel thread. With this kernel the benchmark run throuhg to the end
First result InteractiveX 1651 MHz SIO 6377
second result Ondemand 1400 MHz RAW App just closed at the end of the test. After restarting there was a result ??? 5965
third result SmartAssV2 1400 MHz NOOP 6037
Just a few results without any meaning despite that the benchmark works....
additional EDIT:
Meanwhile Christopher had investigated the cause for the problem for ANTUTU-Benchmark with "BIGMEM-K^Kernel" so it seems to be related to BIGMEM-Versions of the ION-customkernels.
Have a nice evening

you don't have to reinstall nothing, you can upgrade directly from r9... and apps are working, the problem with antutu benchmark on k^k is due to an application bug and it is already fixed (don't want to spam this thread, I say this only to let you know that all is working)

Black screen
Yesterday I installed 4.2.2 ion r1 on pmem r9, and this morning I uploaded Phenom 4.2.2 Kernel v0.1 for ION.
.
I have just bought a Moon+ Reader Pro is another application that is not working properly.
Starts, but I do not see the text because the screen is black.
.
On my HTC Desire everything works perfectly, so a black screen that is definitely not the fault of the application Moon + Reader Pro.
.
If there is someone who did a clean install of 4.2.2 ion, please check how it behaves Moon+ Reader. Thank You in advance.
.
I put this information in the thread with the kernel, but I do not know if the problem also applies to 4.2.2 dct r1 ion.
.
=============== edit =============
.
The problem disappeared after uninstalling and reinstalling the apk.

Would be cool if you give me a feedback
I'm going to sleep and I hope a mod can move it to the development section.

Okay so used it for a while. Buttery smooth! Only one thing I found was that I set the maximum frequency to 1000 and still it's going to 1320.

wiping cache & dalvik cache would help you. Also, take the battery out for 5-10 min then reinsert it. Revert then.:good:
v0.2 is up
I removed OC.
It's too unstable now. Some users always running 1.32 GHz although they set Max Freq to 1 GHz.

I was on vanilla rom when I flashed the kernel. When I wanted to go back I flashed the rom again. This worked for me.
Even though you removed ocing, freezing and stuttering is still there. This is caused by the cpu scaling mostly (only) between min and max. For example, Hill Climb Racing freezes a lot with default settings (interactive) but is just fine with performance. If you can, please have a look at the governors' parameters.

Open Sourcing Mediatek - ZTE v970 ; SoC MT6577
Being owner of an Mediatek device, means (most of the times) not having the sourcecode published by the Official vendor.
ZTE never published full ICS sources (they only gave us incompleted, and unbuildable sources).
Furthermore, we never had JB 3.4.x Kernel sources.
Well this is xda after all, meaning we can accomplish pretty much everything
This is an fully Custom Kernel Source.

### For JellyBean 4.1 / JellyBean 4.2 Roms ONLY ###
--> For the new KitKat Build The Kernel is already included on the Rom, and Kernel Updates will be on that thread
Hello Guys !
In this thread you will find my custom Kernel for the ZTE v970 / v970m / Smart a18 (Portuguese Single-SIM version)
Please be sure to read (and re-read) to avoid unnecessary questions.

F.A.Q. :
How can I change I/O Schedulers and Governors?
You can use the No-frills CPU Control APP from the PlayStore to switch bettwen then.
What's the Best Governor / I/O Scheduler?
Depends on your needs (Performance; Powersaving; etc)
An good resource, check this This Thread or Just Google it ...
How to Overclock my Device?
Download the attached app (THANKS bindassdost):
1: Add BBoost Game Mode widget to homescreen

Hi there
Thanks for the feedback, please refer (and the others, when replying) what JB version are you using?
The JB 4.1.1 or JB 4.2.2.
Im using the 4.2.2, and yes it doesn't display that its charging sometimes, but he IS charging.
If you powered off your device you'll see that it is charging.
Also you should see the RED Led, that indicates that's charging
Also sometimes the battery percentage may display wrong values.
Regards, and thanks for testing

Kernel should fix the "clash of clans" problem on Jb 4.1.2?
I use 4.2.2 and sure enough, the battery is charging. Having trouble to correctly display the battery percentage. There is possibility to add governors to kernel? Keep it up.
Regards.

I may add governors and IO schedulers in the future.
But first lets fix these last issues.
Thanks
Beta 2 is Uploaded
EDIT: I've repack the kernel, for JB 4.1.1 users also
Just choose the correct version
Make an full backup on Recovery
Flash The kernel
Reboot
Please test it, and later you can revert back your stock kernel/data by restoring CWM Backup
If your battery Percentage (%) is frozen, reboot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik again.
Regards
Fixed problems with loading and show battery percentage. I will continue testing stability and others. Good job. Thank you.

Hopefully yes... If no one else will test it, I'll try to do complex tests on Saturday/Sunday. My camera is currently not working anyway because of my failed kernel builds that didn't even boot.

I've ordeder my phone from HK (so it's most probably the "international" version) and the values are the same.
Also please check my old repo against adding governors - it's very easy but important, current governor (mtk's hybrid) uses too much battery. If you want, I can create a push request

Adding Govs and IO isn't hard at all, i have alot of goodies to release into the kernel, i just dont want to add too much "junk" right now, before i get this last issues fixed
Then i can start with the addicional goodies, after that AND if all goes well, i can start working on an second kernel variant to fix the camera on 4.2 roms.
The priority was to have an kernel (and working sources) for this device
And of course, you are always welcome to help/test.
Thanks

LONG TERM SUPPORT :-
This kernel will be supported for a long time with updates directly streamed from CM kernel sources i . e . as long as CM keeps publishing updates to Motrola's Kernel, this kernel will also be updated.
Further, I will also be personally adding features to this kernel along with tweaks and optimizations as and when needed.
DOWNLOADS :-(do not mirror my links)[ Latest Version ][ Older Versions ]
TEST BUILDS with OC & UV :-These builds contain the following extra features ( when compared to normal /stable builds ) :-
CPU OC to 1593.6 MHz
CPU UC to 96 MHz
CPU UV hardcoded and can't be changed
Associated RamDisk changes
Since OC will not work without associated ramdisk changes, hence test builds are available as boot images rather than anykernel zips.
Now there had been reports of bootloop with blisspop & rr roms and certain other roms. I looked into this and found out that even though they are based on cm kernel, their ramdisk sizes are different, hence bootloop on using boot.img but no bootloop on using anykernel zip ( since, anykernel works irrespective of ramdisk size).
Now it is highly unfeasible to build a boot.img for every different rom and upload them separately. Hence, I have decided NOT to include OC/UC in the stable builds.
Hence these images will only work on aosp and cm13 roms.[/I] Any rom having ramdisk size different than that of official cm13 or official slim(aosp), will not be supported. Hence no support for OC in rr/bliss.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :-
Reboot into recovery.
Make a nandroid BackUp.
Select Install zip from SD Card.
Select the Downloaded zip (different builds are present as an option in AROMA).
Then Reboot to System.
RECOMMENDED APPS FOR KERNEL TWEAKING :-
Kernel Adiutor
Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Pro
I do not support any other apps.

There are certain commits which improves and stabilizes cellular connectivity.
It works very well!
The overclocking is overvolting the CPU? Or it just changes the frequencies?

This kernel is strictly for marshmallow based roms only.
However if you want to use it on lollipop based roms try an older version.

Will give that a go. From what I could see yesterday this version worked fine with Lollypop apart from the camera.
Edit
Seems that kernel won't run the processor any faster than 787.
Is there any chance of updating to include over clock or modding current version to work with Lollypop camera?

what is Kangaro spectrum injector
and what perfboost conf. do
plz clarify
Did you solve Huaxing panel problem because it was still in version 3.0 If you no longer take a consideration!

Spectrum injector is for the old GSIs, nowdays not really necessary. Perfboost fw config is EAS compatible config for the perfboost fw.

Huaxing should work.
In the 2.6 version, this is not a problem, but other current kernels are still going black screen issue
I'd like to try this kernel, but bootloop always bother me..

Magisk and some modules bother you.(or the stalkers)

Non UV versions are up, flash if you experience random freezes.

different thing. undervokt is voltage of cpu lowered so it consumes less power.. if too low it will reboot or freeze phone . if so flash the zip that says non UV
OC overclocked cpu get higher frequencies ..

Man you should've made non uv zip long time ago. I was having bootloop on your kernel since v2.0. If you would have made non uv verison back then. We would not have bootlooo problem. Everything is working perfectly now. No reboots.
One request can you make a ramdisk zip for setting schedutil governer as default like in insigniux where flashing it will make schedutil default cpu governor
