I saw in another thread something about LG replacing digitizers for $75. I haven't looked into it but if that's the case it might be worth the extra $20 to let them do it.

I just broke mine recently too, I ordered a white replacement digitizer on ebay, originally thought I would receive the whole assembly as most are advertised with the housing that has volume /power buttons, I got just the screen still easy fix though it required some tough gloves and a screwdriver to break all the old digitizer out and some impact proof superglue to put old one in though it worked, and now i have a black and white g2x its quite nice here's a link to a video on how to replace it.
I would recommend for ease of replacement to get a black one with the housing (volume and power buttons) attached. much much easier to replace.

that nice rounded edge on the side, makes for very weak gorilla...

dude, that's seriously sick. is your battery door still that weird brown color? i found one white digitizer on ebay for $78. is that what you paid?

I sent mine to LG (well, Stellar Wireless) after I dropped it, and they swapped it out for me for $40. Unfortunately, the one they sent me had non0functioning 4G and GPS, so I had to send it back in and I'm waiting for my replacement to be returned to me.

I ordered the digitizer from eBay. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to replace

So i wanna see what happen to you if the phone looks like that. Dang man thats bad about the phone but its fix able. Unless you want to sell the phone to me for $50 ill take her off your hands

My new digitizer should be here in a couple days, seems a whole lot easier to repair than my last phone, so I will update on how it goes. My biggest thought is about getting dust or anything between the LCD and digitizer. :/

I know. I'm hoping my Nexus will get here in the next couple days, but I didn't order the official bumper when I had the chance, and now it looks like I won't get any (would rather go naked than hide that beautiful rear end lol)

Plus the poetic looks like there is a gray part on the back side that the Google one doesn't. I have the Google one and it is VERY nice

Actually, I think the Poetic one has more appeal thanks to price, not availibility If I wanted to spend $20 to protect my phone, Id rather get a full case. $5 to offer small protection while still showing off the beautiful back is two thumbs up and a customer
(Keep in mind I also bought xtremeguard screen protector+skin so I am fully protected)

Not crazy about the price but that one with the blue siding looks sick!

I've been.looking at the blue one. I decided it was worth the price. I paid $30 for neo hybrid and it feels good on phone but outside phone it feels cheap and it ain't gonna give me any protection and this one looks awesome.

3M and face down drop, i'am definitely getting this one

Ordered from Cygnett last night, Shipping confirmation today.

Ordered the orange. Was torn between this and the Slim Armor but I feel that in the event of a drop, this one is going to offer the most protection out of the two and I'm a bit wary of the Slim Armor and the button issues I've seen mentioned a few times. I'll keep an eye out for more posts on that issue and maybe get a Slim Armor down the road.
So who's going to post a review of them dropping their phone from 10 feet to see if it protects as advertised?

Ok I bit on the orange. I am hoping not to buy 20 cases like I did on the GS3.
I want protective, grippy, good buttons, not too big, and looks nice. This should do the trick.

Recently XGear recently their Krystal Genuine Sapphire Screen Protector for the Iphone 4 and 5.

I was reading about their Holy Grail Series and seems to be really good since it says its rated A9 in Mohs scale with A10 being diamond. I wan't to buy it but I'm afraid of how it plays with bumpers or cases like the Ringke Fusion.

This case is solid aluminum. It just looks sexy. Although, I have heard of signal loss issues.

This one has a clear back, which is nice to show off our phones. not to thick, doesn't cover the screen at all.

My Fusion case is pretty cool. Kinda thick and finger prints REALLY easily, but it looks good!

Can you share some pics?

I used to have the Ringke slim case, but now I've got a Poetic bumper. I can't remember the exact price but it was less than $15. My phone has taken a couple of heart stopping falls, but so far so good! I'd post pics but my phone is my camera. I'll try tomorrow if I can find something.

After rolling naked(after a ringke fusion) for a while I went with this. It's definitely a nice case. Hardly feels any heavier to me.

I have to admit, I LOVE mine without a case too. Currently I've been using the Fusion, but the charger I've been using doesn't quite fit with the Fusion case, so at night, I take the case off to charge. And every time I have the case off, I say to myself... "Damn! That's a fine looking phone!" When I had my Galaxy Nexus, towards the last 3 months or so I ended up going case-less, I may eventually go that route with the N4 as well
