[Q] remove the battery & my galaxy R seems to be dead

I thought my galaxt R was dead when it was not turning on. so I kept my mobile one day idle then I tried to stwich it on it was turned on.
then onwards if I take the battery out the same problem contnued Is there any solution for this.

Can you elaborate what exactly happened, i am not able to understand you !!
also give details of your ROM and other things

Buddy It is sad to see you facing problem with your device. Can you tell exactly what's your problem. What I understand from your post is whenever you remove your battery and plug it back your mobile is not turning on. You have to keep it off for 1 day before you can turn it on successfully. Is that what you are trying to say buddy?

Give details abt d ROM n kernel dat u were using?it ll help ppl to solve d problem

I was using official rom not rooted one till yesterday.
I installed ICS yesterday guessing that it would solve the problem but the problem remains same & it became worst than ever before.
I am going to install the original firmware once again but I am not getting the proper link to download it. Could you please just give me the link to download ginger bread 2.3.6 for the Saudi Arabian Region?
& I think there must be a problem in boot sector. Whenever I remove the battery and plug it back to it, it takes time to turn it on at least 10 to 24 hours.
One more thing my laptop is detecting the mobile even my mobile is turn off.

[Q] Xperia Tipo touchscreen problem(calibration)

One week ago I have a problem with my tipo.
When I type a message it very slow responsive and became incorect word. Very uncomfortable when I type a messages. Then at saturday (ihave free day just at saturday, because i am working as weel) I decide to bring my tipo to Sony Mobile Service Centre nearest my home, which is aprox 60km from my home.
Then I ask to officer, what happen to my Tipo?
They said that my tipo have a problem with calibration system. But they also didn't know yet why it is happen. (I little bit confuse with them)..How they can say like that..Come on, they are Sony officer not illegal servicer.
after 10 minutes the brought my Tipo to their back room ( I didn't what they do), my Tipo became normally again. I can type messages well..
But after one day my Tipo get well, at sunday my Tipo has a same problem again. Even I didn't do anything with my Tipo (install apps etc).
I try to download TouchFWToolsAP_Sony-Ericsson.apk, then I ran it but still not work..my touchscreen still strannge for me..
It is make me angry so much..
What sould I do to repair this calibration again?? not possible to bring again and again my phone to service centre because it is to far???????

Try using repair with pc companion. Then calibrate it again if problem persists.

It doesn't work dude..

Return to Sony, tell you already serviced it once earlier, and ask for replacement. They may give a new one..

Yeah, I got the touchfwtools, now its ok.
Now using:
Sony Xperia tipo ST21i
stock 4.0.4
11.0.A.4.22
(rooted, locked bootloader)

[Xperia J] Media Scanning

After Upgrade to 4.1.2 ,
I am using 11.2.a.0.31 Global Version
the phone scan media in SD card is extremely slow,takes about 5 minutes
If I run walkman during that 5 minutes,all playlists will gone
Does Anyone find a solution to fix this?
Please don't ask me to flash Rom...

When you first flash stock rom just go through quick settings which are displayed at first boot and then leave phone and dont do anything on it. After some time you will see big POWER OFF button and click on it! Turn on phone and enjoy!
Its true that it takes some time, I dont know why on ics 7.5 we dont have this and after first boot all pictures and music where loaded imidietly

This will only happen the first time you turn on your phone, you're not gonna have any more problems afterwards .

I realize that if the phone is upgraded by [pc companion] from 11.0.a.7.5 (4.0.4),your situation never happened,
But,if I flash the stock Kernel (because I brick it yesturday...Bootloop after install Xperia Home 5.1.S.0.0...)
or use [update service] re"flash" the phone,(because I brick it today again...Beat Audio Installer...),
the media scanner appears!!!
Now I don't need to wait 5 mins,I can enjoy music after boot!!!!!

There's no media scanner on ICS,just JB have it!

Xperia Tipo (Brick or Hardbrick) Please Help me!

Yesterday i change the external SD , the phone cant recognize it, so i format the memory, then i turn it off but when i try turn on again nothing happens (the battery was at 90%) its so strange
Theres no led blink, i cant charge the phone, cant use Flashtool
The only hope its in Device manager . When connects the phone the drivers appears,
im so sad, my tipo has 1 year , if someone can help or say me what happens

May your phone dead boot. Bring it to Sony Service they will fix it for you

Did you swap your internal SD with your external SD???
If so, and if you have formatted it, most likely it's a hard brick!
But I'm not sure, because I don't fully understand what you say!

@MatsPunt is correct.
You have killed your phone. Sony cannot repair it but if it's under warranty they will replace it with a new one.
I have posted many times about this vold.fstab swap trick hard-bricking these phones on this forum.

if using flashtool it also cannot helping

If using flashtool also cannot help maybe something can do to solve the problem, it is softbrick or hardbrick?

[Q] Xperia L Camera Not Available

i have bought a new xperia l with warrenty from a local shop.After 2 months i opened the camera of my xperia and i got the message of "Camer Not Available" I tried to claim the warrenty but the shopkeeper said that this is a hardware issue and we dont give warrenty of hardware but i realise that this is not the hardware issue beacuse both cameras are not working i can send file from blutooth but i cannot receive any file.ive searched all over the web about this problem but i couldn't find any solution.I have also done the "Resetting the camera app cache and tried again after reseting the phone but still facing the same problem i also tried to downgrade and upgrade the phone to 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 but the problem is still there so i thought of making a thread here.Please can anyone tell me what should i do i cant even sell the phone like this

I also have that problem, just restart your phone daily, and that should be working.
I also have that problem on 4.1 but after on 4.2, it is gone....

No i dont have any other camera app installed but i tried to download camera 360 but it also gives an error that hardware is off or currently disabled i uninstalled the app and tried to clear the cache of camera but after rebooting the phone i faced the same problem

Did you try to "repair" with SUS or flashing fresh ftf with flashtool?

Yes i have flashed it with flashtool and ive also downgrade it to 4.1 but on 4.1 i get the error "Unfortuantely Camera Has Stopped Working" I can use the front camera on 4.1 from setting up face lock and i can also use flash led as flash light in 4.1.But after upgrading to 4.2 again i am unable to use flash and both cameras also i cant receive the files from bluetooth

Yes it is a permanent problem i tried to restart more than 10 times and the problem is still there

I had the same problem and o got it repaired at sony center under warranty.
Btw for me it was hardware defect.

I recommend you to take your Xperia L to service centre,
I'm afraid that is a hardware problem, but let's hope I'm wrong..
But if you tried to repair your phone software with SUS or PCC or both and still haven't got any luck, then if you go to service centre and they say they will repair the software of your phone, and they say with ' their own software ', and they say " all your data will be lost ", don't do that, that thing happened to me before, when my Xperia L have an 'always restarting' bug a year ago, they said like that, and my phone is still restarting all of the time which makes my heart hurt, because all my data are lost...

hi, im facing a similar problem. i use the xperia z, my camera stopped working after upgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2...den i kept switching the fone on and off, with luck it came back. but anytime i switch it off and on, d camera stops working....den i have to do d procedure all over again. After upgrading it to 4.4, it became worse....the camera doesnt come on at all, i have tried everything possible. please help.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
