hello, i have a mt6589 tablet which is 4.2.2 walton walpad 8. I need cwm for my device. But my device is not listed in rom manager. What to do? I need cwm for my device. Thanks in advance.

I want to ask if there is any way to install the newer version of cwm touch recovery on this (or any other similar) phone. As the MT6589 is getting widly used this would be a good option for us.
I tried to flash a rom using the firmware for iBall Andi 5Li, but it didn’t worked and got stuck in the middle. Now, my phone doesn’t bootup. It’s just showing iball logo. I am able to go into Stock recovery mode. I will really appreciate if you or anyone can help me. This is very urgent request and I really hope, you will help me with this regards.

Root your phone then copy recovery.img to sd card then install Mobileuncle MTK Tools from playstore.
open app. there will be a recovery update option. app will find the recovery file.
TWRP Recovery for Andi5li
Just download file and flash it using sp flash tool.
ON WORKING MOBILES MOBILEINCLETOOLS CAN BE USED TO UPDATE RECOVERY.
CWM Recovery for Iball Andi 5li
Flash it using SP Flash Tool

Have rooted it using Framaroot(Barahir mode) with SuperSu and BusyBox.
How can I back up ROM and recover it, if anything goes wrong after some custom rom changes?
P.s. Checked Online Nandroid, TWRP and none supports it.
Hi, my name is Dion Trevor Castellino. I have just recently rooted my phone and I want to install CWM recovery. However, when I go to ROM Manager, it says there is no custom recovery for my device. Then, it tells me about Clockworkmod 2.x and 3.x+. This has confused me. Please give a full detailed method to install CWM or TWRP recovery on my phone. It would be better if CWM recovery. Here are my phone details.

there is no recovery for your device. Unfortunately not all devices have support out here. You will have to make your own which you can learn to do by visiting XDA University

Install custom recovery like CWM , TWRP etc.. for your device.
In Recovery go to Backup and Restore menu and select Backup.
Thank you very much but where can i found a guide to install recovery to my device? I'm not a noob (i have a mod nexus 5) but there aren't guides to install recovery to mtk8382
