I noticed that on my device the wallpaper is static when scrolling left or right through the stock launcher.
Unfortunately i don't remember if this was true on 4.4 or it changed with 4.4.2. Does anyone have an idea on how to enable the old scrolling effect?

It seems to be dependent on what app you use when selecting set picture as... If you use photos from Google+ then you get a static, non-scrolling background. If you use the gallery app it scrolls fine.

I tried this way but the wallpaper isn't static. I want a static wallpaper and I didn't find something about that. If someone knows how to set as static on kitkat.......!!!! Thank you

What do you mean exactly? If the wallpaper is 1920x1080, I cant understand how it could scroll.

Sorry, man, I can never remember that width goes first. As the kind members have indicated above, the wallpaper must be 1080 wide by 1920 high. (Thanks guys)

Giving LauncherPro a go, but I may revert back to stock. LP is more familiar and has better widgets, but that side dock makes it too phone-like.
Okay, so I know that the resolution is very odd for this phone's wallpapers. This comes out as a huge plus for me because, well, I'm bored. I am also going to college for graphic design and could use all the practice I can get to be ahead in the class. :fingers-crossed:
So, this is where you (yes you) get to take advantage of the situation. If you are wandering around the interwebz and see an image that you would like to use as your background but it doesn't meet the resolution requirements, post it here and I will [try] to replicate it as best I can, if nothing else I will at least re-size it for you.
Rules:
1. Has to be graphic design (anything I can replicate without having to go out with a camera, these images will only be resized.)
2. No inappropriate images (use your best judgement)
3. Have fun, no arguing.

But that's good if I want a wallpaper for just 1 home screen and no scrolling. But if I have 2 home screens and want scrolling, do I need a 2160x1920 wallpaper?
But then if I have three, does that mean I need 3241x1920?

Yes, yes, no, yes, yes.
2160x1920 is the size of the stock wallpapers. GEL will adjust the scrolling based on him many home screens you have.

When I used Nova, I believe it actually stated what size it was looking for when setting the wallpaper.
Hi recently I started noticing that when I tap on an app a white outline shows for about half a second and then the app opens is it normal or how do I fix this. Thank you
