most likely if you find a Cyanogenmod Based rom for it you can select from a huge range of languages. i didnt see any roms for it when i googled it.

I bought a A9220 running android os.I HAVE ROOTED ONCE USING SUPERONE CLICK FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS FROM A GOOD POST PROVIDED HERE BY A MEMBER AND SUCCEEDED REMOVING CHINESE APPS.I HAVE VISITED MANY WEBSITES TO UPDATE IT TO THE LATEST VERSION OF ANDROID.BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY SOLUTION.SO PLZ I REQUEST ANYONE TO PROVIDE ME A SOLUTION.I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL FOR YOUR GUIDANCE

- Android version : 4.0 (ACTUALLY IT IS GINGERBREAD)

NOTE: It is written in the settings as 4.0 but it is actually Gingerbread.

sorry but you cant update to jelly bean or ics .
As i dont think that there is any cynogen mod for the device.
But you can install other custom roms and you can get 4.1/2/3 in settings leaving os to be gb.

Yep U can get jb looks
Yes you can get the jb UI but the 4.0+ apps won't work.You can get most of the features of jellybean.
A simple example is Ace 5830i which don't have jb but you can get UI using custom roms.

that is okay....but where do i get the custom rom for the a9220
Sorry but there is no such update.. you can try flashing custom roms if available .

You have to search the internet for a Custom rom or here on XDA.
I recommend XDA since almost every ROM here is stable enough to run on the specific device

What do you mean with done? Like that they stop with making or that the CM can be flashed?

You can check for custom roms on Google and here on XDA ........
if you find one then its nice bt if you can't find one it may be due to lack of developer support....
if your device becomes popular it will surely have many custom roms.......
the best way is to ask any developer to make custom roms ......
and if you want Cyanogen mod better ask at cyanogenmod.org forums.........

there is no cyanogenmod device specific at the website...I've checked earlier..can the galaxy note rom be flashed in this??

Nope....
and never try to flash a ROM meant for other phones as it will Brick you device.....

You won't be able to install any TouchWiz based rom on your phone (and why would you? There are many superior options out there).
In fact, you won't have many options to install a custom rom. You should just try to google "Vivo X1S custom rom" and see what you find.

I Wanted to know can i import a whole kitkat os to my currently stock rom?I mean all characteristics it has!And how can i create a server and give regular updates as the manufacturer provides!Please provide me full details.!

I mean not look like kitkat but performace wise it should be same as kitkat and other features it has!
can anybody say how to port a system to a cm-unsuportet device?
i want pac on a lenovo yoga tab 10, because there isnt any custom rom for it and the vanilla system doesnt works good enough for me.
TWRP is on the device.
a backup from the system is made, but there are only .win-data. and for now unusable for me...
its rooted.
eventually someone who can help me. i want to learn it on my own to port android

Hey xda comunity. First of all, sorry for my english. I'm Peruvian, and spanish is my main language. Second, i was thinking of getting CyanogenMod 12 on this device, because is my daily driver and since I have the 8GB variant, android 6.0+ runs really bad. But I wanted to know (more like a curiosity) if i could use the lollipop stock rom system ui on the custom rom. And if not, is there any way to port it? Thanks in advance!

well actually you cannot use system ui app of another rom in some another rom because resources are located in different places and if you try to do so you will just make your device crash everytime you boot it
