[DEV] AOSP Mms.apk on Sense

Hey guys and girls so this is me asking for help, what i'm trying to do is fix a bug i have with HyperNonSense. I'v narrowed the problem to being with the TelephonyProvider.apk.
TelephonyProvider-original.apk
This is the original sense based TelephonyProvider.apk and the problem with this one is that when you go into contacts/phone and try to send a message the contact details do not get sent to the messaging app correctly.
TelephonyProvider-moded.apk
This is my own modded version i managed to fix the problem in the original but i made a new problem where you can no longer delete single messages in a messaging thread.
TelephonyProvider-AOSP.apk
This was taken from CM9 i tested this a bit and everything seems to work apart from not being able to send messages. (but im not sure if other things are broken as i never tested it for long)
I know i'm asking for a lot but iv been trying to fix this for some time now and have come to a dead end and my only hope is you.
After you have pushed the new TelephonyProvider.apk to your phone make sure to delete the /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony folder or you will get FC's on next phone reboot this will also delete your messages
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Share functionality. How to change method?

Hi all,
After a week with this great device I've noticed that when attempting to share an item from various apps I am not given the choice of which app to share it from. For example. When using the browser and wanting to share a link. It defaults to my sms app rather than giving me options where I would naturally want to send via email.
Has anyone else noticed this, Had experience of this and can offer me some advice?
Thanks in advance

This exact thing happened to me, only way I could fix it was a factory reset.

Need some help

So for some reason Textra made two separate threads out of no where. The original is on the bottom and contains the whole conversation. For some reason no texting app see the original thread and only sees the new one.
I really want to fix this because I need to back up the original thread as I've had it since the beginning. Any ideas?

The old thread is only showing in textra. There's no record on it in the system text database file. I really need to keep this conversation but nothing can see it.

RE Question for [4.4][AOSPA] ParanoidAndroid 4.3 [BETA4] | Skyrocket

I've never posted since for the most part never had any problems or was able to figure it out myself (need 10 posts to comment in the relevant thread so please move this if it's not in the right spot).
I've been lurking around for a while now, installing numerous ROMs and I keep going back to this one as my DD.
The only problem I have is I can't seem to get the stock messenger to use the dark Theme. I've selected it rebooted, unselected, rebooted etc but to no avail.
Is there something I'm missing? Anyone else notice this?
Thanks!
Only me having this issue? Not a big deal!

Oh well. I'll come back to this ROM after messing with some others

The Galaxy Note 5 Attributes Thread

Hey ladies and gents,
I made this thread to have a place to post personal findings with your note 5's. For example, tell us how do you like the screen, anything weird that you noticed about the screen, the way the phone behaves, and possibly any quirks that you found out with the phone. Even things that you like and don't like. Maybe the phones camera acts a certain way in weird conditions, etc. Let us know so that we can discuss and possibly find solutions for any future quirky attributes that pop out! ?

I have noticed that when I want to send a pic to someone it automatically sends the pic without letting me type anything. Don't know if it is a bug or just the way the OS works.
I do not like the fact that I can't choose to use an app once or by defualt, it automatically selects the app for me

I agree. The default activity chooser is missing the option to use an app just once or always. Very annoying
Really? That's very annoying because I usually like to choose different media players for different media applications. That can pose a problem.

On a positive note (pun intended), the screen is gorgeous and wonderfully sensitive. My last two phones, lgg4 and nexus 6 were too dim in sunlight and the screens on the far right edge missed touches far too often. Well, on the LG touches were missed just about anywhere 1/3rd of the time.
I have noticed that when I take a screenshot with smart select and save it to gallery I cannot send it as an mms. It says unsupported media file. Anyone else had that problem/

Anybody with the Note 5 64gb how much of the 64gb do you get to use after the OS is installed? Right now I'm using around 50gb overall on my Note 3.

The size of the OS has no effect on the amount of in free user space, the OS is on a separate partition in the phone.
The separate partition is of a pre-determined size which has nothing to do with the free space on the internal sdcard.
That's why I do not see any advantage of uninstalling bloatware or other apps which we don't use or want.
Disabling bloatware and many other unwanted and unused apps is a much better and safer option.
Good luck,
Have a great day!
I hear what you are saying, but still doesn't answer his question. Regardless of partitions, you will still have 64gb to work with, so how much is available from a stock N5 64gb? I think I read that 11gb is used, but I can't confirm I don't have a note 5 yet. Coming soon. You should have over 50gb, probably 52-53. I'm sure someone can confirm.
@Misterjunky-That sounded a little rude, I didn't mean it so please don't take it the wrong way.

Ok, before adding any files to your internal sdcard you will have exactly 58,350,411,776,00 bytes usable free space.
Which means that you will have approx 58.3 GB usable free space to work with before adding any files.
Good luck,
Have a great day!
Damn, that's actually very good.

Has anyone ever noticed that the clock icon actually tells the right time? If you go to the app drawer and flip the page back and forth you can actually see the seconds hand moving.
