I am having tab 2 P3100 and I want to make video calling.currently I am on official cm10.1 nd its dialer doesn't provide This video call function. Samsung official dialer provided nd it was good.plz anyone could help to provide .apk of samsung dialer or any other dialer to do video calling. I have tried play store with no luck

u can download any of the roms and copy the apk from the system/app folder

I was going to try this but I don't know a reliable ROM for the Note as I'm not familiar with them and I don't want to download a "slimmed" down ROM

If you go to settings /about / in polaris there is an update button... Nevertheless still no update later than the one mentioned in my previous post.

Managed to download the Note version, everything seems similar to mine although mine has Google Doc support but then the Note one is HD :/

There is at least one major bug in XLS plotting which causes me grief, plus its inability to play integrated videos in Powerpoint presentations, or even embedded sounds is a real pain.

i had to delete a alot of system apps e.g youtube and live wallpapers as well as most of the ringtones and notifications to fit the app in the system and when it finally worked, it just fc's as soon as i open it sorry lads

Hi everyone, I just found two Galaxy S4 ChatON apk's, ChatON V and ChatON feature apk. Video Calling is included but I could not test it due to nobody having the new ChatON yet. Here is the link: 4shared. com/rar/cXkTQUX2/ChatON_feature.html
How to install:
1. Unpack RAR
2. Install ChatONV_J.apk
3. Install ChatON_feature.apk
4. Run ChatON.

The Person That You Are Talking To Is Not Have The S4 Version
The 2 Sides Must Have The ChatOn With Video Call

If videocalling doesn't check if any of these files is present on your /system/lib:
libFaceEmotionlib.so libFaceTrackerlib.so libHSVPE.so libPSI.so libSPenSDKImageFilterLibsPE.so libSamsungAudioEngine_JBP.so libSamsungMediaEngineRecorder_JBP.so libWakeUpSensory.so libdmcFaceEngineWithGaze.so libnmsp_vocoder_speex.so libpjsip_jni_JBP.so librtp.so librtppayload.so librtpreorder.so libsamsung_videoengine_JBP.so libsisosrtp.so libstylize.so libsvoxtts.so libAMSWiFiLibs-1.0.5.so libChatOnAMSImageFilterLibs-1.0.2.so
If anything is missing copy it from the system dump system/lib and paste it on your phone on system/lib and set permissions RW R R.
Hope it helps. I didn't test it by the way, but I know those are the .so dependencies of those apk files

I have the i9500 and I have the exact same screen as you do. Both chat on voice and video grayed .... it is fkr sure something we are doing wrong .... maybe both caller and receiver need to have s4 !! I ront really know but for sure you dont have a probleme with your insalled apk

Just tried it with TMO SGS3 --> SGS2 both running JB 4.1, didn't work.
Funny theres no one with a so called working set up not even screen shots of it working...

I think both users must have ChatOnV installed. I just updated ChatOnV in the PlayStore yesterday, but it shows as incompatible with my Ace2 or S2, so I can't test it as no one else I know owns an S4. Must be tested by two people with S4.

As far as I know, Google dialer and contacts are not compatible with Touchwiz. Also, by using Google's Dialer, you would lose the ability to natively make video calls over 3g without a 3rd party app installed. This method doesn't use your mobile data.

I am using custom Rom of CM7 base kernel. Is ther any way to make swipe to call and make sms from phone book like samsung stock ROM. Thers no option in CM7. I'm using samsung galaxy y s5360

No there isn't... even if that feature is there.. you can get it only in any other contacts app.. not the default one

exdialer can do that, and you can even theme it to look like stock samsung dialer!
