Hey,
This is my first post to XDA forums. I have been using MMX A110Q since 3 months. Happily rooted . I have even tried flashing SGalaxy ROM (thanks to Team DarkDroid)
But no ROM has supported OTA (Over-The-Air) updates yet. Waiting for developers to develop such perfect ROM

If I have helped you in any way.. Hit THANKS
I dont think custom ROM developers will not provide any kind of OTA update to their ROMs. Let us wait and check if Micromax gives this option if they release 4.3
There will not be any Android 4.3 update for anymicromax divices... MMXcaster tweeted..

this is noway going to help us..they are not going to release sources anyway..may b MMX just cook a rom from the already available cynus t2 jb with some junk apps like mizone and hookup!
Re: MMX A110 get official jb
Hi mmxa110user Micromax releasing it's own jelly bean not the copied version from mobistel. Any way our devlopers will release custom Rom on it; which are far away in performance from mobistel cynus T2

Ya. Micromax is actually doing this to create a good impression on the people power. They will not modify Cynus T2. This update was first confiremed by http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...-device-get-the-android-4-1-update-jelly-bean in way back Jan 2012.

as in stock rom for micromax A110 we can easily see that it is laggy, slow and battery DRAINER,
personally i dont think that mcromax will give update, possibly soon CUSTOM rom might b available.

No u can't because we dont have the kernel sources for jb.
Somebody needs to make mmx understand what does Gpl stands for and by not releasing the kernel sources they are violating the gpl licensing terms.

You need to replace boot.img from your stock rom as a first initial step, and also few libs.. I'm not aware about your resolution, if it's different than canvas 2, then it would be more complicated to port the canvas 2 roms to your device.

Resolution is y the same as canvas 2

Also my device is running on 4.1 where as I'm trying to port 4.2 for my device. In that case will my device boot up with the stock 4.1 kernel? Also could somebody tell which all lib files need to be changed or suggest correct porting guide?
Flash lr v5 custom rom by rahul works great

Never go for custom roms if you expect stability. Custom roms contains many bugs and are not stable according to device specifications. I have tried a lot of custom roms but i got bugs and complains in most of them. Custom roms may ask for different kernels which may be incompactible to some apps. So think carefully before going for any custom roms. Be sure to backup your stock rom via CWM or any other recovery!

Who said? Try ib phoenix ROM v3. with 3.4.75 kernel. Rock solid n stable. Jet fast. I have flashed my device more than 500 times in one year and I tried almost all ROMs. This one is a wonder for canvas 2.
Not impressed by it. Waiting for official 4.4 update..
