Hi,
maybe this is the wrong Thread/Forum, but I get no Solution anywhere else.
I hav a Xoom MZ601 Everest.
With the Xoom Stock Rom on my Motorola Xoom MZ601 (and also on my Stock S3) I can use various USBToSerial Adapters.
With CM and AssefMod V5 they are not recognized.
Tested with PhysicaloidLibrary, usb-serial-for-android, FTDI Java D2XX Drivers.
Maybe this is a similar Problem:
I own a elecom dvb-t-receiver 12123, which worked well on Xoom stock rom (and also on my Stock S3), but not on cm 10.1, AssefMod V5, maybe others.
It doesn't recognize the Stick.
I asked this also in CM Forum, but no replies (topic/76604-elecom-dvb-t-receiver-12123-not-recognized)
Anyone any Idea what is missing there and why it runs with Stock Rom ?
How to fix ? Fix possible ?

I am looking for a ROM with ADK in kernel, or a kernel (currently I am using CM 10.1). I need to be able to print from the usb port. I know that is possible in other devices since I have seen that, and seems that the Xoom stock rom is capable too.
Anyone cuold please help me out?

I can confirm that the hardware supports USB OTG, but whether it works is a matter of ROM and kernel.
I know changes are being merged into CyanogenMod 10.2 which activate the feature. I haven't been on a stock ROM in too long to comment on the situation there.
As far as I know, there is OTG capability on stock Sense kernels.

does someone knows if latest build of CM10.2 activates OTG??? i cant connect a usb keyboard
Hello,
I installed in my Xoom MZ604, the CyanogenMod 10.0.0 ROM, and everything is working perfectly, except my HDMI port. When I had the ICS original ROM (the JB upgrade it's only for the US), I only had to plug the mini HDMI cable to my tablet and my TV and everything worked fine, but with the custom ROM I can't do this. I allready tried with various TV screens.
If someone can help, thanks in advance.
Hello together,
I´m using Gnabo V6 but have problems with connecting to my Canon DSLRs. First I must say, that everything worked fine with 4.1.2, but after Kitkat and Gnabo, I cant connect to the Cameras via USB. The tablet is always switching from connected to disconnected a.s.o. - and no, it´s not me: I´ve tried differnt Cameras, different Cabes, different USB-OTG-Adapters: Always the same: There´s no stable connection to the Cam. Can someone test at home or maybe give me a hint?
Thank you,
Markus.
Update: Mykino told me, thet´s a problem of the different kernels: Gnabo using the N8000 kernel and I have a N8010 - we will have to wait for Andis kernel
Gnabo and OTG ADapters
HI is there any solution about the otg Problem yet? Is there now a new Kernel for the Gnabo Rom?
Hey Guys,
I once heard that on CM12 KKBL, there should be a working HDMI-Driver implemented, is that true?
I would love to connect my phone to my TV and i'm missing that feature on the JBBL Roms (seems to be due to proprietary drivers).
Is there any solution or does anyone know if a BL-Update might fix that problem for me?
Anyone experienced or experimented with the HDMI Port?
Greetings Esok
