I think there is no pure aosp, pure aosp is made by google, and we cant use 100% pure aosp source code to make rom for daily uses..
You can see oxygen rom by popdog, that still need some part from cm source code to make it work better.

Hello, everyone
I'm currently trying to build AOSP and CM7.2 for my Galaxy ACE Plus, but the problem is, i don't have a working device tree. Can anyone help me create one?
Sent from my GT-S7500 using xda app-developers app
Here you go it is an guide made by CM related to making a device tree.
http://linux-sunxi.org/Starting_a_CyanogenMod_device_tree
Make sure you read the whole thing before starting and also changing the instructions to suit what you want to make.

**Press the thanks button if I have helped you.
I have started porting Sense 3.4.10 Kernel from VilleC2. I am getting everything on my git set up and anyone who has development experience with kernels PLEASE do what you can. Once we have this kernel ported and booting we can boot my ALREADY ported sense 4+ Rom... Until then i will NOT release anything that would be stupid because i would rather release a 90% working Rom rather than a 25% Rom. Thanks and links for git will appear as soon as they are ready xx
mine
Happy to read from you, and thanks for your hard work
Someone said you lost your DS, can you compile the kernel without it?

Hey what's up guys,
I just got my N5 and wanted to build my own ROM. I'm pretty noob-ish when it comes to building ROMs. Is there a guide or tutorial to build on a Linux machine?
Thanks a lot !

Hi XDA,
I created this thread for people, who want to talk about developing for our device, the GT-I9105(P). There are not many developers, who own our device, so I think this thread is a good start for people, who want to contribute to this community.
In this thread, you should be able to:
share ideas about fixes for issues, which exist one many ROMs
talk about kernel development
ask any development questions(that means NOT to request fixes for problem X)
share guides for building ROMs, modding your device, building kernels
request help for WIP projects
There are already several guides, which may help you with your problems:
[TUTORIAL] Compile rom from source [S2+]
[GUIDE] Deodexing your custom rom the easy way
[GUIDE] [I9105/P] How to deodex your system without using adb shell
[GUIDE][HOW-TO] How to make a Custom ROM based on Stock ROM the easy way
[HOW-TO] Samsung Galaxy S II Plus - Modding Guides
HOW TO... build kernel-unpack-pack-tar .. boot.img
Please don't ask questions, which don't belong here. I will report them as off-topic.
I will try to answer many questions, but this thread is made for everyone, who loves to help speeding up development for this device.
If you want to know something, just ask and if you know the answer, just answer.
