Q: Flashing any firmware to my phone will erase the network lock?
A: NO. The network (or SIM) lock still remain active. By flashing firmware you can't deactivate the lock. It's stored elsewhere.
Q: Flashing an operator specific firmware will restrict my open phone to that operator's network?
A: NO. Your phone still remain open for any SIM. Operator specific builds usually containing "only" bloatwares, wallpapers and/or browser settings, etc...
Q: Is it possible to update the PDA or MODEM only
A: Yes, You can update any one component independently if you have a good reason for, but remember: recommended to have consistent components
Q: Where is the bootloader tar and pit file?
A: those are not used for a Kies like update. You can find Add file soon*.pit and bootloader in other S6802 firmware bundles, and use if you really need it, but not necessarily needed for flashing
Q: Do I need to tick repartition?
A: NO! Leave all check-boxes as default!

A: REALLY, I told You! Leave it unticked!!! ...And leave bootloader empty as well! COPY THAT?!?!?!
Q: Will Odin increase my custom bin counter flashing these packs?
A: No. Custom bin counter increased in case, when you flash non-stock firmware. Bundles provided here are all stock files.
Q: Wipe vs Non wipe packs?
A: Wipe pack has been build including an empty userdata partition, that way flashing a wipe pack will erase your user data.
Usually wipe packs has less issues after flashing,.......
Q: I've got no issues in the past with non wipe packs. I want to flash new firmwares by having my data untouched. Can I modify wipe pack to non wipe pack?
A: Yes: Rename PDA*.tar.md5 to *.tar, then remove the userdata.img file! Don't forget to backup, because non wipe packs sometimes leads you to boot loop, and the solution is wipe data/cache.

Why are you so mad? if it bothers you that much that i post here, i'll just stop posting.
I thought that it is a good ideea to post here what i find over the net, couse there are very few stuff for this phone and rili hard to find. It is only one file because as far as i know this is not hacked software that you install via odin.. this is via kies!

Flashing via kies its hard for user.... Download from sammobile glash.it via kies !!!! ..... I do not have device for testing converted file... I provide firmware for GT-S6102/5360 its my 1st try to provide for untested device .....and its fun for me ..... No one pay for it..... I upload all file using my slow 10-30kbps internet hope any one report work or not...... Diwnload count is 200+ but no one report......:thumbup:

the files work man.but to update to latest version we have to use kies(takes up to 200mb).software update via phone does not work.it will download and reboot but update installation will fail.so please upload the latest update.and what about pit files?i cant use the drivers and pit files of sgs i believe.
out of curiosity,how do we flash via kies using files from sammobile?that site used to have odin files as well.

I found out that was deleated. Why? It contain very valuable information about custom firmwares kernel. Many pages discussion about the this rare device. I think it was a mistake to delete this thread because you will not find other thread in english .users opinions about n9002. Cant say but i have an n9002 and ive rooted it, flashed google apps, debloated, and removed all the chinese crap that i can remove and as of writing, i am pretty happy with this dual sim beast.

No, it is a CHINA ROM UPDATE. It has English, Chinese and Korean. You will have to flash/install an EU rom if you want to have German.

You will most likely lose Gapps and have to reinstall as the china ROMS, at least on my China Mobile Branded, N9002, do not have and do not allow installation of Google apps. You have to have ROOT to be able to add the apps. Either manually or using Odin.

If you are happy with this can you post a tutorial for the every step you take to root and install gapps. I realy want this device but i found out over google that most users have problem daiily use. Many fc rebbot and instability. Probably this is build only for china and any try to transform the phone into a close international variant fail. Sva rom have problem too with this try but is realy the only custom firmware for this terminal and closest to 9005 international variant.

[Q] Help me! I can't find the original Poland Samsung Firmware!!

Hello everyone! Please help me! I can't find the original Poland Samsung firmware for my device with the following features:
AP: I9105PXXAMC2
CP: I9105PXXAMC1
CSC: I9105POXXAMB5
Does anyone know where I can download this firmware for POLAND REGION ( XEO )?
I tried to download the firmware from many sites and forums but actually they are not for Poland REGION XEO. Infact when I installed ALL OF THEM and I flashed the firmware with ODIN software, in the first screen that appeared to me indicated FRENCH as the default language and so when I went to the recovery after flash the phone the yellow writes said "APPLIED THE CSC-CODE: XEF" which meaning that the firmware IS NOT THE POLAND VERSION. Infact XEF meaning FRENCH FIRMWARE, NOT POLAND!!!!
Please help me to find the poland version for my galaxy sII plus NFC, I really need it for warranty reasons!!
PS: I also tried to install the firmware XEO that I found on this forum BUT ACTUALLY IT is the XEF version and NOT the XEO one( which means that the firmware I found on this forum is not the poland one )...
PS2: Sorry for my bad english but please HELP ME!!

I know but when I download the XEO version from the site and I flash it into my phone I recognize that actually it is the XEF version not the XEO one even though on the site there is written that it is the XEO version. Maybe the developers maked a mistake and probably have confused the folders and have added the xef firmare into the xeo firmare folder... I don't know but please help me to find the right poland firmware!

I flashed this rom on my phone and IT IS THE SAME F***ING FRENCH VERSION ( XEF )! It's not the Poland one! :crying::crying::crying:
I also tried to flash the kernel xeo but it is always the FRENCH XEF version!!
Please link me the CORRECT ROM!! :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

I think it isn't so hard to get the right firmware. Best way i think is to register on sammobile.com. After that you login go under firmware type your device name gt-i9105 or with the p like my signature. Now you see all firmwares for the S2+! Search for the right one from poland and be happy! Hopefully

my advice is to double check what you're flashing,sometimes,when we flash the previous rom,odin always direct us to the previous rom,try to check the direction of the odin and fix it to the correct one/new firmware you've downloaded.
my previous experience is that i always accidentally flash firmware of 4.1.2 because i thought it's 4.2.2 folder.

OBVIOUSLY I check the correct folder in which there's the correct firmware 2000000000 times before flashing and I wipe cache and data before and after the flash...
However AS I SAID IN THE PRECEDENTS POSTS I flash the firmware that is on sammobile.com and it doesn't work becouse is always the french version and not the poland one...
PLEASE don't keep me repeating the same thing on every post....

No, there is nothing to worry as far as flashing is concerned. In fact when the INU rom is out later you can flash that to get back to Indian ROM. The only thing you need to be aware is that you will not be able to go back to KitKat without rooting your phone.

It's completely official, so it won't trigger Knox or warranty ( Any Official ROM won't trigger either or both ), but you must notice that if you decided to go back to Kitkat then you must think twice as you will need root to do so.

How is the battery life as compared to official stock kitkat?

Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes

Superpost - Full Deodex Firmwares S5 - G900H - Lollipop

Notice: This ONLY for SM-G900H, not recommended to install on other computers.
Deodex order: In case you want some deodex firmware that is not in the thread or the ROM / Firmware area reminded to do so.
If the firmware is another version, the deodex but I will not tell it to work as I do not have that model (I have the G900H), but if you have the characteristics as other firmwares.
Features:
* Full stock
* deodedx

* Pre-rooted

Important:
* If you have problems for the latest firmware here rooting leave a tutorial where they can rooting.
* In the event that any such application Google Docs throw FC can directly disable the application or remove it from the deodex zip and go.
* If you have some bugs regarding deodex report as well see over the next firmware fix that out.
Install
1. Download the deodex firmware
2. Copy deodex.zip into our sdcard
3. Reboot in TWRP
4. Full wipe
5. Flash the deodex

No, they are only Firmware deodex, nothing more. But I recommend you read the post No. 1 and you know they have these really Firmware.

I have problems with root, I tried root checker and it says it's not rooted, tried rooting with odin and same, it says it's not rooted. Is it just my phone? I tried twice.

I followed every step of that thread and it didn't work. I don't know what else to do.

I fixed my problems with the root access. Just change the access from Prompt to Grant! Thanks for your work.
