Well, i'm in doubt about what phone should i upgrade to.. my budged is limited to.. kind of 330 euro, where in my country the 16gb nexus 5 is around 450 euro, in dollars will be 260$ more than the price in USA.
So, for my money.. i found 3-4 devieces.. galaxy s3 and lg nexus 4.. but i really don't like the s3 look and only 16gb on the nexus, so it sums up to the LG Optimus G which is pretty good in my opinion, and recent i found the Sony Xperia ZR which sits in a good price too.
It messed me up because i've looked to the both optimus g and xperia zr over details and reviews on youtube, and i can't choose one.. i would go with the xperia zr, but from my last phone which was the galaxy s2 i used to put custom roms on it a lot (avatar, cyanogen, miui..) and i loved that.. i'm just thinking that the optimus g having more (and maybe better) custom roms than the xperia.. but sony do have it's own awesome features, the water/dust resisting.. and it's only 40 euro more expensive than the optimus g..
So in the end, with which one should i go.. the Optimus G or the Xperia ZR?

I would suggest the Samsung Galaxy Ace or if you want a better smartphone, go for the motorola defy!

They're both low-end (Snapdragon S1 I believe), but Sony has a better history with updates than LG. I'd avoid LG like the plague. Sony devices tend to be very high-quality.

As my old Xperia X8 curently rests in peace I have the chance to buy a new smartphone device. The thing is that as a college freshman my budget is as low as it gets, so the purpose of this post is that you guys, the elite of the net when it comes to smartphones, could help me choose wisely.
My goal is to find a smartphone that I can find here in my homeland (Greece to be particular) or could order from abroad, that wouldn't cost more that 130-145 € (shipping included or low enough if possible).
What I'm looking for mainly is a fast processor with good ram capacity that whouldn't let me down at multitasking, web browsing, app executing etc.To be percise, what I'm looking for is the best and fastest processor/ram combination I can find within that budget.
From there on, my preferences focus on the camera,wifi capabilities (speed and range), screen size and looks/styling with that particular order.
My manufactor preferences are Samsung and Sony of course. But if any other mobile manufactor has what I'm looking for I would be glad to take a look.
I myself have made a small research on possible devices I could buy. Unfortunately I am not a phone specialist.I'm far from it, (although I would like to get there one day hopefully) so these are some devices I came up with during a quick search at a greek online store:

well i'll look them up.As for the motorola I think it hasn't arrived to my country's major sellers. I can find it though but it costs like 200 euros at this point. It seems awesome though and I think that I would definetelly buy it. how about the htcs you sent me? better cpu than xperia m?

You should definitely go for Motorola Moto G because it comes with Kitkat out of the box and Specs are truly awesome, Camera is pretty good too.. on the other hand HTC desire x is a pretty out dated phone , and 601 may be a nice choice but Moto G offers more in Less price ..

I've been a big Samsung Fan, but somehow it has changed in the last few months. I'd take the Sony, it looks better and is not a "everybody has got it- samsung"

honestly the moto g is my no1 preference but as i told you i couldn't find it cheaper than 195 euros.I found it on sites abroad but the shipping and taxes would raise the price to the same level. If anyone could advise me on how to obtain it in a cheaper price like the US and India ones that would be awesome!!!!

it's like you're asking me to spend my money for half a year of use, maximum! I'm a poor student, not a naive Richy McRich!
I personally don't think Xperia is worth it's price. It has a lot of issues with it's software from my and other people I know's experience. So... I'd recommend anything else but the Sony Xperia brand.
Based on your list, I would chose the xperia m !

The answer is clear: Moto G, 4G LTE version from 2013 or you can buy 2014 version but it doesnt have 4G for now. maybe later Motorola will release a 2014 4G LTE version of Moto G.
Quad core CPU, Android Lollipop 5.0 update granted for this year, HD display, 4.5" on 2013 and 5" on 2014 version plus stereo speakers on 2014, highly customizable with Moto shells with a lot of colors, great cameras on 2014 version, and it costs 179$ for 8GB and 199$ for 16gb plus SD slot on 4G version and 2014 version. What else do you need? :good:

Nice phones, but are they in your budget?
The Xperia Z is a really nice phone too, slightly better than the ZR, and almost the same price. Check that out too. Plus, now that the Nexus 6 has come, the prices of the Nexus 5 might have fallen, and that's an amazing phone as well.
If your budget is closer to the Moto G range, the best phones, in my opinion, are the Moto G (any version, really), Xperia E3, and the ASUS ZenFone 5. Not sure if any of these has LTE, though.
Also, in the range between these is the first-generation Moto X - also a pretty amazing phone.

Not sure if actually budget in the US, ($199 on a 2 year contract) check out the HTC desire eye. Don't go with sony unless you go with the equal of the Z range. I'm speaking from experience (Xperia Tipo, Xperia U, Xperia Jlo)
Otherwise, check out motorola or even an older Nexus will do.
If you would check nexus 5, check lg g2 - It's price is similiar, but better than n5 in some aspects. Xperia z is an older phone, but I guess it would do ok too, same goes for zr
If you want something cheaper, then there is a big choice in the mid-range - moto g lte as mentioned before, Lg f60, f70 and f90 should be a good choice too, also g3 s and g2 mini. Htc one mini 2, desire 816, maybe desire 610.
As for sony, there's xperia e3, c3.

im here to ask you about thoes two phone the lg g3 and the xperia z2.
i have xperia z2 d6503 16gb and i see the lg g3 32gb in the store and i like it. i watched some review on the youtube and read some posts about it. and it looks pretty good.
did i change my xperia z2 to that lg g3 i need a bigger space and the lg g3 offer it for me because is 32gb.

Phone quality manufacturing materials that interested me greatly, what is the best for me.
Its z2 coz you have to only compare lg ans sony . sony is best and your problem os space is no long as you can use external ss card upto 118 gb in both the models and i am prety shure of great offers in most of online shopping sites.
