[Q] Moto G Single & Dual SIM Firmware - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, i'm just curious,
Is the dual sim version & single sim firmware different?
I mean if there is a custom rom for the single sim version,
would it work on dual sim version?
I'm confused, because in my country it looks like there will be only the dual sim version,
I want to buy Moto G so bad, but if i can't install the single sim version custom rom on the dual sim version,
it would be useless (because i like to install custom rom on my phone) and I won't buy it,
So any ideas?

How about moto g global version 16GB?
I've got the Moto G Single SIM 16GB version (buy with SFR, a french carrier) and it's also XT1032.

XT1033: dual sim version
XT1035: single sim version
But i've also seen an XT1034 one... what version is that ?

XT1034 is the AWS version if I'm right.

Just bought my g/f the US GSM unlocked Moto G... it's the XT1034.

which one have good development?
I'm considering to get one, but i want the variant that get the most attention from developers so i can try many custom roms like cm11

All dual-sim version are XT 1033, 8GB or 16GB. I have a 16GB dual sim too, and it is XT 1033. But the 8GB dual sim is XT 1033 too.
XT1031: Boost Mobile6GB
XT1032: single sim (both 8Gb and 16Gb versions)
XT1033: dual sim version (both 8Gb and 16Gb ("Colors Edition") versions)
XT1034: AT&T and T-Mobile (both 8Gb and 16Gb versions)
XT1035: single sim version

Just curious, why did you ask about only the XT1030s devices, aren't there a few moto Gs with XT1020s model numbers?

Re: yes, it looks to be AWS. can that be treated like an XT1033/XT1032 or so for flashing then, since it's just the radio.... ? I guess that a separate question.
From the amazon website for usa, if you look at the reviews, the 2nd Gen Moto E's are XT1024, XT1027, and no one mentions the other models. I can also pull a getprop if one of y'all is interested.

I've got a dual sim edition moto g in singapore,but now I've got some problem about system language,I really need german (Deutsch)as my system language,but here I cannot find it.

but 2nd sim shows inactive , say subscription inactive , how do i activate it so i can use both the sims.

Hi, im a newbie in XDA but I know the devs do a great job so I want to thank you for that.
I have an sm-j700m with dual sim and I want to update it to marshmellow but the tutorials I have found are just for the single sim j7.
Is there an specific stock rom for the dual sim model diferente that the one for the single sim model? If so, where can i find it?.
