[CUSTOM][ROM] Aurora v1 - Sense ROM

First of all I would like to tell you that I mad this ROM for myself. I made this from the Cooked ROM InFectedAblaze. I had to remove creeds as creeds did not have calculator and memo which I wanted and had samsung apps which I hated. So I have put in and removed what I do not want.
This ROM is a version of Infected and that is why I have merged both names Infected and Aurora to make Sense Aurora. NOTE: The About phone in settings still shows InfectedAblazev2.5.2 as I forgot to change the name and file is too big to be updated a second time. This is just starting and I think you will appreciate this build. This is my first time and I think I will be building more by the time. The later versions will have more applications and different kind of launchers.
I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE!

Skin1980 CWM
Installation method for ROM -
1) Download zip and put directly in memory card
2) Download CWM by Skin1980
3) Turn Off phone
4) Boot in Recovery (Volume Up + Home + Power)
5) Wipe Data
6) Apply Update from SDcard
7) Select CWM by skin1980 (Its name was strange)
8) You will go into CWM recovery
9) Select Install zip from SDcard
10) Then select Choose Zip from SDcard
11) Click on InfectedAurora.zip
12) It will install
13) Go back using power button and click Reboot System
14) First boot will take time but wait.
15) Enjoy!
Now method for SenseStatus -
Put Notification.zip directly in memory card
1) Turn off phone.
2) Go into Recovery (Volume Up + Home + Power)
3) Apply update from SDcard
4) Select CWM
5) Wipe Cache Partition (NOT WIPE DATA!!!)
6) Install zip from SDcard
7) Select Choose Zip from SDcard
8) Select Notification.zip
9) Now go back and select Reboot System
10) You are done!

Run widget locker , tap and hold on the circle of the lockscreen. Select edit and and choose lockscreen type

absolutely amazing. in case of flash failure (boot-freeze): try again. then it'll work.

It is already installed with the Sense Aurora ROM. When you install, after reboot you should go to menu and then click on widget locker. Edit it in any way you like.

Just install the rom and then go to widget locker in app drawer if it is not loading from start.. You have to run it every time after clearing RAM.

I am under the impression, that Aurora is screwed in terms of wi-fi, unfortunately.
checked loads of ROMs but seems, Aurora is the cause why it doesnt connect to wifi anymore.

Nope.. Atleast not for me. I am using this ROM and it is ACTUALLY connecting to Wifi faster than any other! I am also using it..

it might work with cwm by madteam also but i prefer skin1980.. ddla3 would do great..

It is simple Procedure if you are in Stock Chinese ICS and installed CWM, But if you are in stock GB you must flash chinese ics sbf then install CWM then flash this rom
Procedure For those who are in Stock ICS:
Pre-requisites
you must be rooted If you dont know rooting then http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827338"]go
and installed CWM From http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40684531&posted=1#post40684531
Installation Process:
1)Download the Rom
2) Place it in your SDcard
3) Reboot to Custom recovery
4) Wipe Data/Factory reset
5)Wipe cache and dalvik cache
6)Then select Install Zip from Sdcard then select choose Zip From Sd card
7)Navigate to Paradox_VER 1.0.zip
8) Then select Yes
9) Follow instructions in Aroma Installer
10)After finishing installation select reboot system now if you are in CWM touch version you will be asked to recovery flash Select YES
You will now be in Paradox njoy the rom :good::laugh:
NOTE: first boot will take long time don't panic
Then install busybox stericson and reboot again
PS: this rom dont have any custom recovery inorder to have custom re covery follow the same procedure as in the link
Procedure For those who are in Stock GB:
Please flash Stock Ics using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827338
Then follow the same Procedure as above because we need ics kernel to flash this rom

Srika, Try uploading in mediafire / google drive or skydrive., These links offer better speed and stability to the downloads.
the link is actually not workin for me ., it stops at some 10% and tells "download reset, do u want download from beginning" ., Also my ISP sucks may b thatz the reason !!!

Using your rom now.. the first custom rom for our device... it's awesome buddy... great job.. I found only one problem that the battery icon is missing the animation during charging.

thanx buddy js go to cwm and wipe cache and dalvik cache and then reboot go to settings display at the end u will find battery style click on it change what ever style you want you will get it there
by the way may i know the complaints/complements for the rom plss for all of our defyxt users

thats a kind of tough job buddy i dont think it will b possible in near future but i am trying to port some roms from other devices which are jellybean if i get help from some memebers i dont think its impossible to see jellybean in our phone "not themed jellybean btw"

yes u can consider it like cntv5 till it release because it's white version of stock with some tweaks

not sure will work or not try this
deodex ur phone search xl development
copy cnt to a zip any flashable zip and mix mine also and try flashing in recovery
btw first make backup also

For who asks for flashable zip.
Many of us havent got openable bootloader, so for us this is the only way to get better roms.
(someone working on a cwm for us to.)

Successfully installed this rom
and you can use Thunderzap kernal after flashing latest .ftf
i use TZ Kernal and flash su.zip for easy root
just need this look can anyone tell me how to get this tablet look with settings.

Then the BugList :
1-no playstore (I don’t know why ??? ) fix --> install the gapps given below then when the phone boots install the vending APK below when you go back to HomeScreen you wont find the icon play with phone and discover the rom after w while it will APPEAR i suppose
2-Quick Pick doesn’t work ( I tried fixing it a lot ) fix --> download any gallery from the PlayStore
3- the status bar doesn’t appear first time after 1st boot and after flashing Gapps …. Just REBOOT and its fixed
If you find any thing else tell and give me a screenshot but don’t go upon me fix this I am not a developer … I just ported a rom I like if you can fix any thing fix it and I will put you in the credits

How to Insatll :
1- download the rom,Kernel,Vending APK,EXT4Formatter and Gapps .... and place them in your SD Card Not in any folder
2-I prefer to be on Stock ROM ..... Head to recovery ( volume UP + HomeButton + Power Button )
3-Wipe Data , Cache ... under mounts and storage Mount every thing
4-Flash the Ext4Formatter
5-Mount system again and then flash the Kernel
6-From Advanced --> Reboot recovery
7- will be in blue recovery ... Wipe data and cache
8- under mounts and storage mount system 2 times ( Must Do IT )
9-then flash the rom
10- Reboot recovery
11- Mount system 2 times again ... flash gapps
12- you are ready to go
If you are on any Cm7 or 7.2 Base and using the specific kernel .... just format system and do from the 7th step

i am too lazy to fix quick pic ... i spent 5 hours yesterday to find out how to fix playStore if you want to ... DO it

just to let you know as already explained if you add any apk to the system/app folder you need to decompile the apk first and goto lib\armeabi and copy any lib files there to system/lib of your rom
to fix status bar you can try re-signing it with a platform key using zip signer

I was refering to your bugs list
status bar doesnt appear on boot and after flashing gapps - resigning the apk with a platform key will probably solve this

I havent actually tested it - I was just giving you the reason why it may not show the first time and the solution to make it always appear

But is this based on Bieltv3's CM7? or Percy's CM7? You said in the credits bieltv3 for kernel only. If you based it on biel's CM7 please also add credit for it.
