I have already installed Blur CM 10 in my Xperia J. I am thinking to install new custom ROM FXP 249 CM 10 .
is it fine or having any problem ?

Well..I just tested it on my jlo...it still has the imei & gsm problem.... To flash it u must flash first the ics firmware..then cm10

Yh i can confirm this, had the same problem with a friends phone yesterday, Flashed ICS FTF and then it was all good. Changing brightness didn't work though.
I hav vengance kernel installed on my xperia J. Now it says the update for my phone is available! So if i update my phone will it change the kernel also? Should i update?

It will flash new stock kernel. What firmware do you have at the moment?

The update will be installed only if u have a locked bootloader

I have the same problem...i have a st26i and to get root, i unblocked the bootloader, now i want to lock it again.. i just tried with FlashTool 0.9.11.0 but nothing happend... any idea???
I just found a file ! After flashing that u can relock ur bootloader again.. I'll try as soon a i reach my computer!

Use old flash tool and uncheck the wipe data & wipe cache option.. :thumbup:

Try to install Custom ROM onto stock ROM - in CM it works. Install stock ROM, wipe data only and install Custom ROM. Report back.
Hello! After trying to install a custom rom (z fusion), my xperia doesn't turn on, only vibrate when I try and turn the green led. I tried the PC Companion and Sony Update Service and doesn't recognise the phone. When I read the guide for installing the rom I forgot install the lastest version of cyanogenmod only I install the zip file form the Z Fusion V1.
Can someone help me? PLS

Not impossible, just terribly difficult and time-consuming.
I compiled PAC 4.4 for the E, but GSM didn't work. Tried porting MIUI JB, same. Tried to make both work for some time, then gave up cause it just didn't work...
Can u give me that miui rom

GSM didn't work - that is, your SIM didn't get detected. What'd you do with a phone without a SIM? You can't make calls or anything. Plus, I deleted it a long time ago.
