I have seen many people facing trouble to create a CWM/TWRP flash-able zip from the stock firmware given by the manufacturer.

How will I able to zip the entire working folder on step 14:? can I use winzip or 7zip to work as flashable to CWM?
done!!
i'm newbie at here, made a one for CWM flash...but feeling very afraid cause its my first time....either it'll be flash successfully or my phone will be stuck!!!!

hey guys. How to edit updater-script depending on the device? I'm trying to make flashable zip from a stock rom for a Lenovo a369i, but getting Status 0 error while installing, any help?

Status 0 occurs when there is an error in the update binary of the flashable zip. Replace it with a working update binary for your device.

the deodex no change anything, but now it's possible install MOD, Example: 14 toggle button, Lockscreen, %battery (in this forum @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1369)

I Don't know, but base of this theme is turbo-zet rom, if you want try to another rom just backup SystemUI and Settings.

Install CWM on your device using the guide given in the following link

Download the file given in first thread and place it in your sd card i.e. memory card but not inside any folder.
Then Switch Off your phone wait for 10 sec. then press Volume Down and Power button together to go into CWM then from there select the option "Install update from SD Card" and then select the file given in the first thread.

And amazingly it works but there are some problems with the camera and I can't open it or access it...
Please guys(devs) I'm asking you to work on this ROM to port it on our phone too.. @surdu_petru please port it to our device too...
Everything is working except the camera
I modified the update-script to make it flashable on my device.
And I'm running the ROM right now

follow the instructions on the forum...
for making the ROM flashable on your device you have to edit the update-script.
delete the first line using notepad++ and save the file and then should be good to flash on your device.
don't forget to backup everything
and you most flash vendor.img too to make the ROM bootable

This is great to know. These devices share same config and hardware so as it is working and 6X sources are out we can get some roms for this also. There are 4-5 roms currently for 6X, 4 nougat based and rest MM and user can choose as per their requirement.
