Hi all,
My moto g has a problem. It is stuck at the "warning bootloader unlocked screen"
I can boot into fastboot and flash stuff but when i try to boot it keeps displaying the "warning bootloader unlocked screen"
i have tryed several guides to flash orignal firmware but somehow it doesnt work.
Stange thing is is that i have CMW installed but when i flash TWRP or something it says its ok but then when i go to recovery CMW always comes back.
Had the same problem, white boot logo. Download from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646415 During the process it will say something about boot loader, but never mind. U should have a OTA update when it finished and will lose root, but its not a big problem

I went back to my carrier rom and It worked... after a few flashes on lollipop I couldn't get it to work even on stock lollipop...
hope it helps.
Try with mfastboot-v2. You can find the link with a quick search. mfastboot may help with flashing larger system images than normal fastboot. Just give it a try.
And if you are on lollipop & trying to downgrade to kitkat, skip flashing motoboot.img & gpt.bin

I had the same problem, and tried everithing said here, the only thing that worked, was mfastboot - v2, thank a lot for the sugestion.
Device not seen
I'm having the same problem – stuck on "Warning Booloader Unlocked" screen. Can't get to the bootloader screen. 'adb devices' and 'mfastboot devices' both show empty device lists, which means that I can't execute any adb or mfastboot commands...
Moto G XT1032 (Gen 1, 2013), attempted to install 5.1 firmware using steps at www . droidviews . com/restore-moto-g-to-stock-and-downgrade-firmware (sorry, not allowed to add live link). Bootloader unlocked, USB drivers installed, USB debugging enabled. All mfastboot steps executed without error, but I missed sparsechunk.0 – duh. Finished with a 'mfastboot reboot', and ever since, can't get past the bootloader warning, and no device seen by adb or mfastboot... Can't imagine it's a connectivity or PC driver issue, as was working fine minutes ago before the reboot.
All the solutions I've found depend on adb or mfastboot being able to see my device. Any tips to get the device seen again?
Thanks!

Problem solved – eventually got into bootloader screen on phone, after at least 20 tries... If you have same problem, keep on trying.
Hello there guys! I'll resume my history.
So this was me one month after buying the Motorola Moto G XT1032 8GB, unlocking the bootloader without any problems So I wasn't really into the device info and didn't know about a GPE. So I downloaded a folder with a couple of images and .bin files and excuted a .bat inside the folder that turned my Stock 4.4.4 into Stock 4.4.2 GPE. After first reboot I just installed Paranoid Android and didn't come back to stock since then (a few months back).
Now I tried to go back to stock NON-GPE flashing "Android 4.3 Blur_Version.14.71.8.falcon_umts.Latam.en.AR" and "Android 4.4.2 Blur_Version.173.44.9.falcon_umts.Latam.en.AR" with this method GUIDE] Moto G - Restore stock firmware and I got this two errors in both of the cases:

You see? I got error with gtp.bin and motoboot.img but I kept flashing to see where that would take me. It turned out to take me witha bootloop Never going further than logo.
So what did I do? I ran that GPE 4.4.2 I flashed the first time I unlocked my bootloader. And it was alive again, booting like a charm. Now on crDroid again.
And my question is: what happened? Why am I able to flash a GPE 4.4.2 but not a Latam stock Retail for my country (Argentina)? I don't get it. I flashed from Windows and Ubuntu, with differents fastboot files, with mfasboot given in that Tutorial but nothing worked except turning it into a GPE Moto G.
Any contribution will be helpful, still want to go to stock Moto G. Cheers.

Cheers.

Do this at your own risk:
If your phone is a gsm xt1032 then grab a EU(european) 4.4.4 stock firmware and flash that via fastboot. Should work...
If not then try flashing a custom recovery like twrp or clockworkmod. Grab the EU or US 4.4.4 untouched from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-rom-collection-t2854688 and flash it via recovery.
ok well basically i installed the Lollipop 5.02 version it worked ok except that was slower than before one night the cell run out of battery and it was shutdown and while it was doing that an incoming call was trying to get in, after that it finally shutdown, i charge the cellphone like 30 minutes and when i turn it on, it onlu give me the motorola logo screen after that a black screen
so my main concern is that i wan to recover myu photos back i did not save them in any place because i turn off the photos app to automatically save them
please help me
i have a moto g XT1032 16gb
i have ran the erase cache and i flashed a ROM but still does not let me in

Maybe that sparsechunk did not extract fully from the zip. Re-extract, or download the entire zip again.

First, thanks to your suggestion.
I just re-download the roms from the different websites
then use 7 zip to extract the both file and try again ,still get the same result as i say that on the topic.
BY the way ,thank you for your suggestion.

Keep trying, you should be able to enter recovery mode. The instructions are press and hold Vol up, then tap Power button - not what you describe.

New 5.1 Factory Firmware Images are now available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/index-moto-g-falcon-factory-firmware-t3110795
For now, the only XT1033 image you can use is: XT1033_FALCON_RETBR_DS_5.1_LPBS23.13-56-2_cid12 (you can change language to english during setup)
I would try flashing that firmware image via mfastboot. When the new XT1033 Asia firmware image becomes available, you can change to that if you want.

I managed to flash twrp, but the phone will hang on Bootloader logo when rebooting, and I don't know what to do next.
Any good ideas?
visit here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
and download version 1.4.2
then visit this https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3476163&d=1442444179 (direct download link for mfastboot)
now copy mfastboot.exe to adb folder (created from version 1.4.2 .exe)
and try to install 5.1 lollipop stock rom with mfastboot commands thats it everything will works fine
dont download adb file from google website always use version 1.4.2
enjoy
Thank you for your reply. That made no difference. Same error messages. Also when I reboot in the end, it still shows unlocked bootloader message, continues straight to periodically blinking the "no command" and then just hangs.
I tried to flash XT1039_PEREGRINE_RETEU_5.1_LPB23.13-17_cid7_CFC.xml.
Also, when I go to twrp and try to make a wipe, it shows 'unable to mount /data' and 'unable to mount internal storage'.
Any new ideas?

Hello
I really hopes one of you brilliand guys can help me. I'm at a loss (sorry in advance for bad english).
I have a xt1039 with an unlocked BL 41.1A which I can't get back to stock or flash any other ROM.
In mfastboot, my phone is recognized as TA4750I1SK, and the device is UNLOCKED and my CID is 7.
I tried flashing different stock version from here
https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20G%20%281st%20gen-2013%29/Stock/XT1039/"]https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20G%20%281st%20gen-2013%29/Stock/XT1039/
trying both 4.4.4 and 5.1 but without success:
I managed to flash twrp, but the phone will hang on Bootloader logo when rebooting, and I don't know what to do next.

Flashing twrp 3.1 or high in bootloader .
Wipe "system" "data" and "cache" in twrp .
Dont flash "partition" and "motoboot" when you flashing stock firmware .
