I bricked my HTC inspire and I've tried a bunch of things to try and fix it. I had md5sum error so I deleted my backup and now I need a different backup file. I'm using clock work mod recovery. Thanks to whoever can help me with this.

Don't know if it will help but theres a post that has nandroid unrooted backups of froyo and the Gv update... you could download them with your phone then do the usual wipe data process and restore one of the backups.... hope this helps..

There's no file to flash. That zip contain pdf files to show you how to do it.
You should set up ADB, it's not hard and very useful tool to have for Android.

Which recovery are you using? What options did you check before backup?
I have 6.0.1.2 and am trying to make nandroids but the output folder size is only about 23 mb and it is saving as 1970. Anyone know what's going on here?

I'm pretty sure this is the wrong section to post in.
But to (maybe) answer your question, I think there's a new blobs folder which contains a lot of the backup. So you still will be able to restore in CWM, I think. And if that doesn't work, switch to TWRP, your device supports it, and it seems like you haven't made any backups anyway.

When you go into recovery in backup and restore there is an option to change default backup type. Change your default backup to tar file and you will be all set.
