Stock ROM, on Faux Kernel.
I use Light Flow, but after updating to 4.4.2, Light Flow blinks showing I have an MMS, but Hangouts does not until I open it.
Basically, I'm getting an MMS, light flow detects I received one, blinks the light, but Hangouts does not detect it, so I get no notification sound or alert until I open hangouts, then I get my text sound and toast.
There was a Hangouts update, which strictly addresses some MMS issue in it's description, which I updated earlier today.
Anyone else having this issue? Did not occur on 4.4.1 or 4.4.

has anyone had success using applications to customize the LED notification light with the stock ROM ?
The stock settings screen (Settings->LED settings) only allows to set notifications for SMS, missed calls and new emails with the email client (not gmail).
It works fine, at least for missed calls and SMS (the light turns on as expected).
I have tried a bunch of applications (Gmail notifier, blink, Lightflow, LED Tester) and could not get the notification LED to turn on with any of these apps.
Am I missing something ? Is the SK4G different than every other phone ?

It is different because there are actually 2 LEDs instead of one so that is probably what causes those apps to not work. I don't know how hard it would be to implement more LED options into a custom ROM but I have let AYOTEDDY know that would be a nice feature so hopefully we will see something in the future
So i no longer have notifications for text messages... Had them in the developers 5.0... Anyone else experience this... There used to be a completely new "push" notification settings, where u could do everything like put notifications to sleep for a hr and everything. But guess google got rid of it this final version.. I use hangouts as my text client... But only options there is to change notification sound and toggle vibrate. So lollipop issue or hangouts issue...
For Whatsapp I have different LED settings for group messages and personal messages. However it seems that the notifications for personal messages are displayed instead of the group ones.
For example if I have a purple LED for private messages and white for group. The purple will still shine for all group messages
Does anyone else have this problem? The same happens with the vibration and notification sound.

I have the same issue.
A green light for normal WhatsApp messages and nothing for group WhatsApp messages, but the notification will still flash green when I receive messages from groups.
Note that I have disabled notification light in WhatsApp itself.
I have the same problem. Happened after I went to Lollipop.
Then I switched to a Moto X (2014), and still the same issue (group notification causes personal notification).
I'm having the same issue, this makes it hard to use Light Flow with all the group messages coming in. Suppose there isn't anyone who found a fix yet?
Making a profile for whatsapp group messages with everything turned off doesn't seem to work either...

I've got a fix coming for this very soon. Just finishing testing that group notifications still work when stacked up with other notifications. Whatsapp with lollipop actually raise several notifications for each message you see which is what causes the issue.

I was recently (Monday) updated to 7.0 on my 930U, and I found that light flow no longer sees SMS messages coming in (using the plain SMS listener it has), however MMS messages still notify without an issue. I was able to work around this a little by adding custom notifications for the app, however, this isn't ideal because 1) I have a contact specific notifications for my wife, and using this method makes it trigger even for group messages that my wife happens to be in (you can imagine how annoying that gets in chatty threads!) and 2) my special settings to keep mms messages (i.e. group threads) from notifying me more than once per 30 minutes don't work, as there's no way to differentiate a group message using the custom notification settings.
Anyway, TLDR; is anyone else noticing that sms messages don't trigger notifications with Light Flow on the S7 w/ Nougat?

get my Honor V10 today and the first thing i recognized, that notofication LED is not working for Gmail. Same as my other Huawei/Honar devices before.
Is there any solution to make it working?
I think you can see in settings-apps-gmail and notification, or direct in gmail app
I have the same problem. Everything is checked for notifications including inside the gmail app. I do get led notification for phone and messages but not gmail. Does it work for anyone else?
