help.. deleted play store and cant install another - General Questions and Answers

hi ..i have deleted my google play store from (rom toolbox ) and downloaded goole store but at the end of the installation it tells me that google play isn't installed ......... plz help

It sounds like you need to find the correct gapps package for your ROM version (GB, HC, ICS, KK). I don't have any links handy, but a search can be your friend. Especially in a thread for your device.

i have found this site but i dont know what to choose .. my phone is galaxy mega I9152... jelly bean
http://goo.im/gapps/

That's the right site. Good job finding it.
From what I can tell, your mega is running jellybean 4.2.2.
That means you want the gapps-jb-2013-08-12-signed.zip.
If that doesn't work, you may have to reflash your ROM. Check this link out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2330059

please direct me tot he right place.
I am currently using cyanogenmod ver 5.0.5.3-N1 on my Nexus one and I would like to upgrade to the latest version which has been released for froyo.

[Q] Fusion rom for the d2g

I have looked for hours and for the life of me cannot find a download link for the fission rom. It's the only one out there and not only can I not find the link on xda I can't find it in ****ing google.
Please don't post the topic on your reply cuz I clicked all the links in it. Anyone got the direct download link to fission 2.4.3?
Try downloading it via FRM (Fission Rom Manager). The free Lite version should be sufficient. You can get instructions where to download FRM here
I don't use Fission but have FRM (I got the full version since I donated at the time). Just checked my FRM - ROM is listed there available for download. So FRM is the way to go.
Edit: A word of advise: In order to get Fission 2.4.3 working properly on your phone, make sure you are installing it on top of stock 2.4.29. If you install it after you update to 2.4.330 December update, you will have issues. SBF back to original 2.4.29 and then install Fission.
Ok thank you.
You're welcome!
BTW - I noticed you labelled it "Fusion". The name is actually "Fission", that would explain why you couldn't Google it.

Am i the only one who can't download custom roms?

The ROM's you are trying to download were hosted on Megaupload which was shutdown yesterday by the US government for piracy.
downloading roms
Hello fellow andorid user you should download rom manager to your device and see if there are any roms for your device. ps what device do you have i would be more than happy to help you find a nice rom and kernal for your phone if there are any good ones for it let me know.
ps you should be able to find roms for your phone right here on xda as well and or goole it
if it helps please hit thanks or buy me a pepsi
Use Rom Manager or Rom Crawler. I use both just because one doesn't have what the other has.
And if you don't want to download it from there. Try finding a mirror. I'm positive someone has it.
I love that site, its a shame lol. I agree, best and widest sources for roms are forums such as xda
So are they gonna re upload roms or anything and use a new site?

Need stock rooted 4.2.2, like MicroDelta, but can't download

Hello everyone,
My dad has Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3113, wifi only) and I would like to update it for him to the latest rooted stock (or stock-like) ROM.
So far I have found the MicroDelta rom that is pretty close to stock (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405410) and I like the description of it a lot, but there's something wrong with the download links, so I couldn't try it (says "Invalid Attachment specified..."). I also don't have enough posts to comment on that thread to notify that download links don't work. I've been a user of xda for a while, but hate to just go spamming the forums to get the 10 posts count, so I don't have enough to comment in dev. I only say something if I have something to say, you know...
I also tried to search for other "stock rooted 4.2.2 Tab 2 7.0" roms, but couldn't find anything closer/better than the MicroDelta rom.
Therefore, if someone would be so kind to help me in these 2 ways I'd be very thankful:
1) Notify/PM the maker of MicroDelta rom (Tsjoklat) and say that download links don't work (since I can neither post there, nor PM him).
or
2) Tell me if there's some other stock rooted 4.2.2 rom for P3113 thread available that I couldn't find.

you can try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081801 sungsonic ver7 the best stock based rom
for my tab
Thank you, Mohdsultan. I'll go try the Sungsonic rom.
I've installed sungsonic v7 now. I actually remember trying this rom some times ago now. It's pretty cool, but I couldn't figure out how to remove the cellphone related stuff. My dad's device is P3113, that is wifi only and no celluar. I remember now there were some patches to remove celluar stuff, but there are 478 pages in the Sungsonic's thread, which is unrealistic to read in short amount of time. Mohdsultan, can you pin-point me to the thread containing the latest instruction to remove cellphone-related stuff from the Sungsonic rom?
Alright, for those interested, here's the link for the latest phone-related stuff remover for Sungsonic v7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49145850
This rom, however, is missing the default touchwiz weather widget that my dad needs. I've read though and it's not that easy to add the widget back. Adi (the rom dev) promised to make some patch for this sometimes later, but as of now I don't think this rom will suite my dad's needs. I'd install it for myself maybe, but not for my dad's tab. He just needs stock + root (for ad block) and that's it. So the quest is not over: still looking for the stock rooted 4.2.2 rom.
The problem is solved now. Links to download for the MicroDelta server is in post #323 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51171998&postcount=323 )
