Some reviews say the camera is pretty poor & others say it isn't bad, which is correct?
Also the same thing happens with the FM radio some say it is poor & only really works if you're outside & others say it's acceptable?

Personally i find the camera quite poor and out of focus, my last phone was a desire hd and pics were really good on it.
Maybe theres a better camera app availble , anyone ?
I'm using Snap Camera app and I'm enjoying the results. Comparing with the photos from my old LG P920 can say they are the best. I can not say that the photos are great, but with good amount of light are good as well.

Both the original and the Snap Camera app open extremely fast. The speed between photos is also very good.

Camera is poor but it's subjective to what you've used before. Of you're coming from a Nokia c201 then it's good, anything like an old galaxy note and it's bad

As far as the FM radio goes, I've only tried it for like 2 minutes, but one thing I noticed right off the bat is that I don't seem to be hearing any of the stations I'm receiving in stereo! Does it really not support FM stereo? That seems so...1950s...

it isn't the official produce. Some developers made this MIUI, i'm not sure who they are, but it's very cool as you knew. i have tested it couple days, everything is perfect except the broken bluetooth. and quandrant got 3000+ score.

Ok, I just flash the MIUI i997 ROM:
MIUI version 1.8.12
File version: 8/14
Baseband: UCKI3
Android 2.3.5
This ROM runs smooth,, network speed is well.
(from [email protected] to [email protected], Signal -87db)
The major bug is external SD card can't found,, I will try to slove it later.

I just tried miui this afternoon，there are few bugs，the light senser seems broken，screen light changes too quickly，the 720p playback is soundles，and bit of lag. sd card copy speed is very slow，about 890K per second.

The light sensor works fine, video playback works equally fine, there's less lag than on any Samsung firmware, and the SD card works just dandy.
Im sorry i have to admit that i did not search the forum first. Im posting from my phone and for some reason it wont let me search. Is there a problem with some of the phones screens looking grainy? Nothing looks sharp at all you can pretty much see every single pixle. Is this the expected quality of the phone or should i take it back to tmobile? Thanks for your advice in advance.
I have owned the sgs4g since before cwm was out for it and this is the first I have heard of this issue.

Flip, i agree it is hard to see but if you look at the first picture... At the top of the dock you can clearly see its not very smooth... When looking at peoples screen shots on here... Theirs dont look anything like mine. It is new and stock.. I guess im just going to take it into the store and see what they say.
Also.. In the first pic... You can see how you can see some red and blue... And lines... Thats not the camera... Thats exactly how it looks on the phone
Definitely take it back and let them know it's not supposed to be like that. My lines are very smooth, nothing close to what I see in your pictures. The misaligned lines in picture 1 is already good enough proof.

Yooooo. Samsung quality and the keyboard looks great, compared to this rather garbage keyboard we got stuck with. Thoughts?
Specs aren't nearly as good though. Sadly, I don't think I'd even recommend this for my wife come August when she can get a new phone.

If it's got an S4, I personally would not care about the downgrade in camera. I don't use a camera that much, so it wouldn't be much of a loss to me. I can see why others would be annoyed though, haha.

Wth we got some awesome keyboard I love this keyboard I rate it better than the G2 which was also great, I hate the samsung epic keyboard and this one looks about the same -_-
The best keyboard IMO tho was the sidekick 2, till this day I haven't found a better one on any other phone. the one that was actually about the same in quality was the htc pro 2 keyboard which was pretty awesome but buttons were a little to big.

The Sidekick slide has an epic Keyboard Samsung has no ground in the QWERTY world. If this an Epic 4G for T-Mobile, sign me up. But if it's just one of there cheap boost mobile QWERTYS. I'll stay with my myTouch, which I'm considering giving up once the new Jellybean QWERTY comes out.

I had the Note 2 also & now have the HTC One & that shows up how fuzzy the Note 2 screen was - Not missing that at all.
